Religion / Re: From Atheism To Jesus: My Testimony by bsghaulage: 1:17pm On Aug 17, 2016
Truth be told if you are really I mean if you are indeed in Christ Jesus you will never and can never go back to belief in anything contrary if any body tells you that I converted to whatever he really have not seen the light in the first place no matter how devoted the person was in the Church because Christianity is actually a way of life and Church really is wherever brethen are gathered we are the Church not the building if you are an exceptional Christian you will bring more people to Christ than any crusade believe me. If two or more gathered in my name I am there with them. Note gathered in My Name.
There are too many Nicolaitians around today but guess what it has to be that way because the scriptures has to be fulfilled so don't expect fake prophets and pastors to go away it will in fact increase, it is left for you to seek the truth and become liberated from religion and strange beliefs.

Business / Funds Needed by bsghaulage: 9:07am On Nov 07, 2014
Am into haulage with two functional trucks we have a low bed and a 20 tons tipper I also have a mack truck head sitting idle that's why I need someone who can invest 1 million into my business. The money will be used to procure a 30 tons tipper which will be articulated with the truck head, the money will be returned within 18 months with interest + capital paid monthly at 5% reducing balance.

A proper MOU will be drafted and am willing to use the truck head worth at least 2 million as collateral so if you have any idle cash this is better than fixed deposits, am also willing to let you know my park and my residence can also drop post dated cheques to cover the repayments. I have included the repayment schedule. Thanks I can be reached on 08189710104

OK I know that is possible if it is a terrace building, I think the idea will work if you can get land in a viable location in lekki area for 10m or slightly higher.

bebe2: you more or less say mind and from what have found out, to make impact in this country you just have to get that exposure either as a business man/ entrepreneur or politician. Check out people who are really breaking grounds in businesses check their background I can give tons of names, check out even ministers in Jonathan's govt that are making things happen they were all abroad at one point or the other. For me am an entrepreneur with a bright future but as of now have started preparations to relocate my family while i shuttle because of my business it's a sacrifice am prepared to take thanks

see my brother, its not like that,

no one wants to leave their home and settle outside.

maybe u r financially stable so a job with UN is not a big deal but for others like
you, that could be the ticket out of absolute porverty.

if u and those around u are comfortable, have u ever sat down and wondered about those young children
you see under the bridge? or those old pple u see looking hungry or that disabled person being wheeled about
looking for money?

you may have be desensitised to these issues but for pple who visit nigeria, these are raw experiences because you
tend to forget after awhile how things are in naija until u get home again.

personally, i cant take it. it breaks my heart.
imagine living in a country for 10yrs without seeing a single mad person, then u land in your country and there it is in front of you,
a brother wit matted hair, filthy torn clothes, eating out of the gutters. from there on my mind don spoil.

thats somebody's son or brother or even a father, they havent committed any crime, its sheer badluck dat they have mental illness and nobody seem to care. its beyond me dat pple can see dat everyday and still think its ok , and hail politicians who are clearly embezzling the money meant for the vulnerable in the society.

the west is not heaven but i bet its close.

just one example,
i was very ill last night, severe stomach, at about 3am i couldnt bear it any so i called an ambulance.
within minutes a motor bike came with paramedics and started taking my blood pressure etc in our living room, few minutes later an ambulance came, the motor bike guys handed over and left and the ambulance took me to the hospital.

then i compare that wit my experience in nigeria when my nephews were sick, and u wonder if na God really create all humans.

the morale of the story is, dnt knock it till u ve tried it.

it may not suit u but for me and many others, the west is home for now.

gd night smiley

Car Talk / Re: New Information On The Proposed TARRIFF Hike On TOKUNBO Cars by bsghaulage: 7:57am On Jan 09, 2014
No,this friend works in the financial sector and that was the official mail from the ministry of finance and it says 35% duty and no levy so I believe that's exactly what it infers, no 35% levy.
Car Talk / New Information On The Proposed TARRIFF Hike On TOKUNBO Cars by bsghaulage: 12:23am On Jan 09, 2014
This is the email I got from a friend today, seems govt has reconsidered and increase the tarrifff by 15% which makes the tarriff 35% instead of the 70% proposed initially. Read through and make your conclusions.

TARRIFF STRUCTURE FOR TOKUNBO CARS AND TYRES

The Federal Ministry of Finance recently announced revised fiscal policy measures in the Automotive and Tyre Industries.
These measures seek to achieve the following:
·         Fast track the industrialization of the country
·         Reduce foreign exchange demands by importers of vehicles
·         Create jobs in the country
·         Commence the process of production and exportation of auto parts to other parts of the world
·         Attract foreign equipment manufacturers to the country as well as sustain existing automotive assembly plants.
Consequently, the directive will pave the way for a new regime of revised tariffs on imported used (tokunbo) vehicles, brand new vehicles and tyres. These tariffs however exempt all existing transactions for which the Form M and Letter of Credit were opened and established on or before October 9, 2013. Kindly note that the last shipment date for these transactions should be on or before January 10, 2014.
Highlights of the Fiscal Policy measures are as follows:
1.     Fully Built Unit (FBU) commercial vehicles shall attract a duty of 35% without levy.

2.     Local Assembly Plants shall import their:

·         Completely knocked down (CKD) at 0% duty
·         Semi-Knocked Down (SKD) at 5% duty
3          Fully Built Unit (FBU) cars at 35% duty and commercial vehicles at 20% duty without levy respectively in numbers equal to twice their imported CKD/SKD kits.
4.     Cars, Lorry/Bus tyres shall attract a duty of 20% and 5% VAT.

5.     Importation of machinery and equipment for tyre production is now duty free.

6.     Local tyre manufacturing plants are to import tyres at 5% duty in numbers equal to twice their production for two years from the date of commencement of production.

Subsequently, the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) shall carry out the following actions to prevent under declaration of vehicle value by importers who are keen on reducing the applicable duty:
·         Publish the price of new vehicles on annual basis.
·         Provide a transparent benchmark to determine the value of used (Tokunbo) vehicles. This will be achieved via the application of depreciation indices on the value of new vehicles; however, the final depreciation assessment shall not be below 30% of the value of the new vehicle equivalent.
·         All vehicle dealers and importers of vehicles for sale to the public shall be licensed by the National Automotive Council of Nigeria.
Please note for your information and guidance.
