Nairaland GeneralLesbian Until Graduation - LUG by bsparks(op): 6:37pm On Mar 15, 2012
It's always amazing the things I learn anytime I use d internet 2 check d meaning(s) of words. Ordinarily 'lug' means 2 pull or drag something around but it's also an acronym 4 Lesbian Until Graduation (related terms are GUG - Gay Until Graduation - and BUG - Bisexual Until Graduation). It's a term used 2 describe persons who are openly homosexual in high school and university but bcome strictly heterosexual after graduation. They practice homosexuality while in school for varying reasons, ranging from trying to be seen as 'counter - culturalist' to not having time for complex relationships with d opposite sex. With time d term has evolved to be a derogatory term, used by homosexuals to describe this group of pple. It's actually ironic that homosexuals scream 2 d highest mountains about being discriminated against but they in turn descriminate against the LUG - ites.

PoliticsRe: Bishop Oyedepo Releases The Spirit Of Insanity On Boko Haram by bsparks: 5:50pm On Jan 26, 2012
I think this thread presents a very good oppourtunity to expose Bishop Oyedepo's "quackery" or authenticate his "man of God" claims. BK has pretty much gone after persons who dared to denounce them publicly. If they (BK) are able to hit Winners' Chapel in any way then maybe Oyedepo is not all he is cracked up to be but if they stay clear of the man inspite of his very public declarations against them, maybe they just might have met a 'man of God'. wink IMAO

The first lady sure makes a lot of blunders in english language but all you laughing about"ojukwu is dead but his manhood lives on" are kinda dumb.

That sentence is a 100% percent CORRECT,manhood is not only another name for the manliness, check your dictionaries, its also

THE STATE OF BEING A MAN(adult male or maturity)
TRADITIONAL MANLY QUALITIES.
THE STATE OF BEING HUMAN etc

Laugh at all her mistakes but the above is not one of them(maybe she got lucky) its just ironic to laugh at this when you don't even know the joke's on you.

Back in the day we only knew of tithes and offerings then gradually a few yrs ago we started hearing of "bringing ur first fruits" i.e the whole of ur income gotten at the begining of the year e.g your January salary. It 1st started with a few American preachers but gradually it is begining 2 take hold in Naija. I'd like to hear ur views on this; if u have any scriptural backing, it's very welcome. Cheers

No prizes for guessin why the subject of the docu. wld undergo such a procedure; he wanted 2 get his dream girl. I'm not trying 2 knock d short guys or anything but all 6 FEET of me (fair and handsome I must add) knows, I got d better deal.

Let a voice of logical reasoning step into this emotionally heightened melee. Has it ever occurred to d 'man of God' bashers that a church or its pastor is only as rich as its congregation? If Winners Church can afford to buy jets worth billions, it means it must have a lot of rich folks not the "poverty-stricken" folks we're feeling sorry for. (Imagine how long it would take to get that money from poor folks - too long) Therefore I submit let rich folks enjoy their money the way rich folks do.

I guess by "sleep with" u don't mean a sleep over/slumber party with ur b/f. Why do we say 'sleep with' when we mean have sex with? There's obviously not going to be any 'sleeping'. Don't mind me, I'm just thinking out loud.

P.S

Ideally, 21 should be it but if u've missed that milestone, after NYSC would be fine. I vowed I wasn't going be financially dependent after NYSC so I stayed back, 8 yrs later I strongly believe it was the right decision. The last time I received any money from my folks was the day my mom dropped me off at the park, enroute NYSC camp.

PoliticsGej Vs Buhari - Free And Fair Elections, Who Would Win? by bsparks(op): 11:43am On Jan 18, 2011
The presidential race at this point looks well defined. It seems it's going to be between General Buhari and president Goodluck Jonathan.
I can't help but wonder, if the race was actually left to be truly decided by the people, who would come out tops.
Would GEJ have the guts to let these elections be free and fair?

Christianity EtcCatholic Priests And Pedophilia - The 'Conspiracy Theory' Angle by bsparks(op): 9:11pm On Apr 18, 2010
Maybe there's more to priests and paedophilia than just pervert sexual affinity. Recent revelations show that these abuses go as far back as 30 years ago (only God really knows how far back) and are so wide - spread as to be termed inter - continental.

Why would so many of thesame office have this twisted bent? Could it be because of some in - house secret that they hold? Back in the 'dark ages' of Europe, paganism held sway and 'intimacy magic' was a big part of occultic persuasion. It was believed to bestow serious supernatural powers on its practitioners. Is it possible elements of pagan ritual, passed down through the ages, might still exist in 'The Church'?

Hey! What do I know? I'm just posting.

P.S I'm NO athiest; every cell in my body believes in God Almighty.

Our country does not allow youths to grow or try out ideas. Fourteen years ago, i started a card business, i was good in Art (Drawing, painting, sketching e.t.c.) but a Science student. Let's just say i am good in using my hands and imagination. I approached a Printing company for a deal in mass production of my cards but they refused saying they deal on foreign cards. Do you know that this same company came across my card (a special handmade design) and mass produced it since i only designed one copy for my customers according to their taste. Each card i produce is Prototype in itself. I was shocked to see that they copied every design without any alterations, addition or even subtraction.

I know that if it was a developed Nation like US or Europe, i should be a millionaire like the 25years old owner of facebook. Their economy supports them. Most of them don't work as hard as we do here in Nigeria but they succeed because they have a working environment and the system works.
If you have ideas, no body will fund it. UBA tried funding some persons in that TV reality show "the entrepreneur " but how many banks would really sponsor you. Instead they steal your ideas and then sell it to foreigners.
Sounds like u gave up on ur dream. As much as I feel what u're saying, I cld still point 2 pple like Fela Durotoye(google him) who came thru dsame road as urs.
P.S It's a good idea to patent all ur ideas, that way if anyone steals them, u cld sue and stil get ur millions. See u at the top.

You decide what is better. Is it better to keep hundreds of different ideologies together and have innocent children and babies slaughtered or is it better to split them up and have lives saved. Once again, you decide.
Rastamann:
Truth is bitter! Gaddafi was right and I do not see anything wrong in his tell us (Nigerians) the bitter truth.
To all those calling for Nigeria to split-up, how exactly in practical terms, are we going to achieve this? If u've lived in d different parts of the country and know the full extent of our ethnic and religious distribution, u'll discover it's not as clear cut as u think. E.g Which part of the divide would the Hausa-Fulani christians (yes, we do av em) fall? Wot about the muslims in the South? Maybe they'd like to move north wards. Let's not even start with the middle belt, the Igalas, Ebiras, Nupes (muslims and christians),  May God give us direction

It seems the world is divided on this 1. Some say the laws are down right satanic others feel they're needed to deal with today's world. I once 'entered into action with boldness' trying to win back my estranged girlfriend; I think I should have used the 'surrender tactic' - maybe there was too much bold action in my entering. wink

or is that a counter-party funds u must raise while the bank raises the balance?

N1bln is about $6million so its not a lot of dough in the grand scheme of things

try send your proposal to a northern based bank and also have some skin in terms of u or a pool of investors willing to spend their own funds
