Everything checks out— label and engraving of the jinko name wise.

Has anyone bought jinko panels from Alaba before and were they a good buy?

Once battery is fully charged and u are not utilizing much from ur system, the MPPT would limit what it is receiving for the PV, To know what ur PVs performance are like turn on more load gradually (6Kw) at peak solar time like 12-2pm . Do that if all tins are okay u would definitely have raise in power from CC.

Good evening, a JJC here. I just installed a new system which has a 15kwh Felicity lithium battery, 10kva Felicity inverter, 120amps Felicity MPPT charge controller with 12 550watts Canadian Cells Solar panels (the engineer connected them in 3 series of 4 panels). However, the PV numbers I am getting doesn't add up (maximum of 700-800 at peak sunlight) and i can confirm this because it takes an average of 3-4 bright days (without using the system at all) to fully charge the battery. I have an old system with 12 300 watts panels and more than 2kw PV at peak sunlight from that one. I have called the engineer and explained this to him but he hasnt said anything meaningful. Please, are these numbers normal all theres obviously something wrong with his connection? Below is a screenshot of the MPPT readings around past 4pm on a bright sunny day.

They are both very good solar panel brand that it very reliable,I have used both of them in most of my jobs. Just ensure u buy from reliable source(Gennex,Techland,Fouani) or find a way to verify before buying from other source. adequate cabling and proper installation. And the rest is just smile all over your face.

I am stuck between choosing a canadian panel vs a jinko panel... i havent used a canadian panel before but the low Voc is tempting especially when compared to jinko of same wattage.. This will allow me to fit in more panels ..I would appreciate your contributions as regards their performances..

Your MPPT want go sleep as night don come. It is normal thing when there is sun set. Get a clamp meter to confirm if it charging from your MPPT .. Ciao

Please my Felicity charge controller 100Amps is showing warning sign code 20. The issue is that my battery is charging but the code removed the watts and amps reading on the controller. My system is a 5.5KW inverter with 12 300watt Canadian used panels. Please any solution?

This is a big dream that this your system can not drive, always consult widely before going for any system. Going solar is never cheap if you want to enjoy it. As advice earlier load only 100W

I attached the pictures of the back of the tv and the fan. What advice will you give on this because I don't have much to get more batteries at this time though my plan is to increase the battery every 2months.
Also do I need to use solar controller when charging using only electricity can't from the inverter?

Gurus in this thread, please kindly help me with a reasonable total cost estimate for a solar installation that can power say about 2 laptops and probably 5 other small devices (phones and power banks) max?
Also the panel, should preferably be Monocrystalline (I read it's more energy efficient), i would like a really long lasting battery too preferrably LiFePo4 but I can compromise on that if it's too expensive.

Based on the voltage of 12.2v it is telling u, that u are consuming power from both ur solar panel and battery ,so u are not charging but taking from the battery. Tubular batteries are tough but improper maintenance and frequent abuse may reduce the lifespan.

Hello good people and Solar Pros in the house. Please I need advice on this issue. I have 6pcs of 430w panel and trying to expand with 6pcs 450w panels.

Q1: can I mix the two
Q2: can my fangpusun 60a handle it?

Note: the 430w panel has high Voc and low Isc, while the 450w has low Voc and higher Isc

It should work in 3series2parallel config. No mixing of solar stick to the power rating u are using.

I would advice u go for 535W Jinko panels(VOC=49.34, Isc =13.79) 14Nos. 7in series each PV input.

My inverter spec is as follows: VOC 500, max current on PV1 input 18 amps, pv2 input is also 18 amps. max panel input power 8000kw
I want to use 12 pieces of 600w panel and connect it 6 in series. Now the STC specification for the panel is Pmax 600w,VOC 41.3v, short circut current 18.47, operating current is 17.2 amps, operating voltage is 34.9v. The panel efficiency at STC is 21.2%. Do you advice me to go ahead with this panel since stc short circuit current is already above 18 amps?
