Investment in Lagos is a matter of choice, but a deserving right.

We have sea from Badagry down down to Calabar but Lagos Port remains the most active.
We have International Airport in every region of the country but Lagos port remains the most patronised.
We have embassies offices not only in Lagos but Nigerians still troop to Lagos.

Just take your time to imagine Lagos IPOB, Lagos UGM, Lagos Boko Haram and tell me if Lagos would still be attractive to people. There are people working tirelessly to prevent those national tragedy having a root in Lagos, from the resident to the leaders.

The market, trade and port has been functional before independence while its citizen are highly sophisticated with the right education that would transform the region into a developed society if not for the unitary system that takes away the powers from them?
Lagos would have been a better place if there are stringent immigration policy that would reduce the influx of nuisance with no value into it.

I can see you never imagine tourism includes immigration levies that could come from passport and visa fees if Lagos were to be independent unit. Just the way you don't visualise the burden of unrestricted influx of Nigerians into an area with limited landscape and infrastructure.
You seems not to understand that the rate of population growth of Lagos is way above rate of development of which the state doesn't have contol power.

Spare Lagos of all the blame, Lagos is blessed, her people are hardworking, her leaders are rational, it is the contraption that is pulling Lagos down
