bemeruca:Do I want slavery back, or is this just you being "maths is racist" as usual? |
raumdeuter:You are the one implying it as a solution, and you need to tell me since you are the one who claimed families stayed together during slavery, while mine is, at masta's whim. |
Walsh needs to be sworn in quick so he can cut rates and maga! The long-term bond market has completely blown off the Fed’s rate cuts. The more the Fed cut, the higher the 30-year yield rose.
|
raumdeuter:I guess we should bring slavery back then. Though I doubt many would like to return to a period when the slaves wives and daughters were impregnated by masta for stock to be sold. |
tctrills:Reminds me of my favourite song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yv5xonFSC4c?si=PA1sbez-ITTMBI6y While I agree we should not just be blaming the past, it is essential that one understands where we came from to know how to get where we want to. And on that note, i blame my eyes for being tired and not letting me read further. I'll let them rest a bit and see if we want to.
|
tctrills:How about choices made before you were born, do they not affect the entire existence of a person? Most girls do not choose to become pregnant in their teens, and those who do are misdirected, most often by a preying perverted adult who has no intention to stay and nurture the kids he spawns. We got one here intending to impregnate 5 teens, because, apparently, it's legal. |
raumdeuter:Aha. 60 years ago is your "worst times for American blacks"? That's interesting, as 60 years ago is when American blacks were fighting for their emancipatory rights that new black migrants are now benefitting from.
|
raumdeuter:I think the worst period for blacks in USA was when master could wake up one morning and split families to sell to different buyers to pay off debt. When was your worst period for blacks? |
DeepSight:I was just being provocative. I know you meant loads more than that since you said it already. |
GracieX3:They'd expect the black South African to compete equally with those who have already cornered the financial capital. I reckon, if South Africa were USA, some here would be telling us white libtards are lying to the black people that foreigners are taking their women and their jobs, and the solution is dubula. |
DeepSight:So, competition for resources is innovative. And with Africa being so lush and vast and not so condensed, we didn't need to innovate till later than more densely packed Europeans had to. I guess we have our own war against insecurity, and 'Tinubu' increasing the cost of resources, so Nigeria will innovate and be great one day. My, 'Tinubu', is to hedge against claims that the increase in cost of resource is not only his fault. Vote for Obi! |
raumdeuter:Ben. Hear! |
DeepSight:And should therefore be poorer, and unaccountable, and irresponsible? Not that I'm suggesting that black Americans and people are unaccountable and irresponsible, note. |
raumdeuter:There! Make welfare recipients accountable and personally responsible. But I can't see how black Americans can be accountable and responsible for the consequences of slavery and continued discrimination they have faced. Or is it your claim that slavery and continued discrimination are not amongst the things that keep them down? If so, you should watch Sarah's Oil. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcEOKJm_aLY?si=UL0RRp1glrSe3buc |
raumdeuter:Those who live in the land of plenty in Eden do not need to sweat for their daily bread or "create inventions and prosperous lifestyle". They must first eat the forbidden fruit of knowledge to be cursed to sweat from their own brow for their own food. Damn! I must sound like I'm advocating for the elimination of welfare. I'm not. It just needs to be conditional. Like bad grades of children at school could mean less money, but I wouldn't want that neither least the kids starve. |
bemeruca:Sounds pretty much like dump's doge failure too. |
DeepSight:The weather curse theory, or rather, the theory of not having to sweat for ones daily bread because it can so easily be plucked off a tree. It kind of supports those who blame social payments to the poor, when I think of it. Because, if they are given free money they wouldn't need to sweat to eat. But then, we mustn't let them starve because they are poor and rely on social cheques that make them lazy too. Not all welfare receivers are black or lazy, note! Maga is full of such people too. |
benalvino3:You are far too young and refuse to learn to know that the "some working public systems decades ago" was so little and only in some places that the need to build working public systems where they did not exist would leave very little to maintain or improve the few where they did exist, so decay they would. Obanikoro was a village in the 80s. I used to look off my rear balcony and feel I had travelled to the Orolu Kingdom that had no light and no running water at the time. The front balcony showed a different view however, and was closer to GRA in Ikeja. We had running water way up on the third floor in the mid 70s. But providing running water to the rest of the village in the 80s meant the pressure wasn't enough to get water to the third floor. Ketu just about 7 miles away, had no water pipes at the time, and I'd be impressed if it had any now. As for light, the one transformer that served the entire Obanikoro was insufficient in the mid 70s, and when it blew there was no light for weeks sometimes. Schools weren't enough neither, so many went to afternoon schools expecting to be taught by teachers who knew the school inspectors only visit in the mornings and who were already tired from teaching the day students. Hospitals! The judicial system! All very "some", but I can not keep educating you how very "some" "working public systems" were in Nigeria post independence when you can so easily educate yourself that the colonisers were not colonising you for your benefit or to develop you as you seem to believe, but for their own benefit and profit, and when we kicked them out, they literally placed a cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of our future development. |
The average price of “Grade A Large Eggs” fell by 4.2% for the month and by 56% year-over-year, to $2.25 per dozen, by according to CPI data.He must be talking about some special sort of egg. Ones laid by golden hens maybe, because real regular eggs must be $1.99!

It seems like Atiku's ego wants to be king and not a king maker. And he might end up being neither. |
SeeWahala:Only ourselves can make ourselves lose hope in ourselves, just as only ourselves can make Nigeria that of which we dream about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_LmRcr8Mm4?si=7jAzJ_TdK9NW3txq |

raumdeuter:I think America went to beg China to buy soybeans and maize. And I feel China would respond with. "Okay, if you let us sell electric motors in your America. And no, we don't need your US technology because we can very well make our own". |
raumdeuter:It isn't my business. But a thief makes it my business if they were to come in a thread I'm engaged in and quote me and condemn stealing just as this person does. Or would you not expect it to be ones business here if you are were against abortions and informed us you abort? If kitten grabber dump is in charge of pdfs, should one trust what he says? How one lives one's life is far more important than the words one utters on Nairaland, raum. In fact, I'd go further and say how one utters what one utters is far more important than what one says, because, "By your fruits" are your inwards known, for those who care about inward that is, which I do. P. S. I ignore your "sound like" because you sound like you need the help of an audiologist. |
tctrills:This, I can not say is insensible. And is in fact why I feel immigration into America is a good thing for all, because Africans migrating to America have not been fooled by the American education system that is designed to promote a social world view that is incorrect. Basically, the Black American is taught to believe they will die if they eat fruits of knowledge, and so they don't dare eat it, the ten commandments is on the wall of their class, while the African will pluck that fruit and eat it and only it because there's no ten commandments on the wall of our classes. Anyway, just want to semi clarify your "his gang".

GracieX3:Reminds me of a trip to Mauritius. Went with Indian friends from there and met a Chinese friend from there, but black people were nowhere, and even back home I only knew one. Lots of Indians and few Chinese. We went on a boat trip and I finally found one. He was the Captain, so I asked him where all the black people was. "We no do with them", he told me. Apparently, after slavery was abolished they were still made to work as slaves for years until they finally organised and emancipated themselves, which is when the landowners went and got cheap labour from China but found the Chinese were buying up the land, so they went and brought Indians to work their land. But eventually it wasn't profitable anymore without the free slave labour and having to pay wages, so the wealthy European land owners mostly sold up and left. They still own the juicy bits of land, and the Indians and the Chinese own lots too, but those messed up black Mauritians own almost nothing, because "something messed" up was done to them that has made them disengage and "no do with them". Kind of like some were so messed up that they boycotted the last Nigerian election. |
benalvino3:Might be a future team too, if Kemi can hold her nose until Farage stabs her back, though I think it will be the political death of them both in the end and take years to shrug off. Have you not considered a Farage and Kemi instead? |
bayelsaowei:It gives more time here than to its daughters shocks! |
raumdeuter:Two such here are so proud to have impregnated 3 already while spending more of their time here than with their own children. |
raumdeuter:China now respects the "America leadership" that "is back" with a sales person that America banned from selling to China to beg China to please buy America? Or was it to beg China to 'sell to USA? I can't really decide which is which. What you think? |
IjeBos:You tell me why. I'd like to know. |

don't allow them make you lose hope by their changing the anthem 😏
