PoliticsRe: 2027: Courts Cleared Jonathan In 2013, 2015 And 2022 by budaatum: 3:40pm On May 11
Lawyers who continue to contest this did clearly not go to school. And if they had gone to school the schools should disown them for their lack of learning so they don't disgrace the school.

The court held that the word “election”, used in section 137(1)(b) of the 1999 Constitution, “when given its ordinary grammatical meaning, connotes a process where voting is employed, to choose a person for a political office”.

“The process of primaries, nomination, voting, collating and announcement of results must of necessity be involved. These did not take place when the 1st respondent stepped into the shoes of President Yar’adua on the 6th of May 2010,” the court held.

stop [posting AI summary, the source may be from a nairaland post oer some anonymous twitter post.

Give us source we can verify, do the work and stop being lazy. That's why AI is taking your jobs.
I specifically included the question I asked AI so you can ask it for yourself and see the references and investigate them yourself instead of lazily asking me to spend my own data and time and effort feeding you information you can go get to educate yourself since it is not my "job" to educate you for free.

So, perhaps take your own advise and stop being lazy and go learn so you can get a job.

I dey talk about the money from VAT

States like Lagos, Oyo, Rivers should have reject the sharing formula
They are talking about every kobo generated in their state.

I'm still in shock Governors and Lawmakers from states like Lagos, Rivers, Oyo etc didn't ask for more allocation from VAT they generate
Did Lagos, Rivers, Oyo etc ask for more allocation?

The did ask. Just haven't gotten it yet.

I don't like sitting in the middle, be it Keke ....
I wouldn't even share keke with anyone most times. I'd just pay for all the seats and sit there like I own it.

The advantage over driving is, I can abandon the keke and walk if there is traffic but I can not abandon my car.

This cannot have been as painful as what happened to me some fifteen years ago. Was going to the beach with my fiance and friends and decided to splurge on Ermenegildo Zegna shades. Cost a pretty penny. Got to the beach, put them on a table, laughed and boom! The shades just purchased at dear cost to impress my finances friends disappeared!
I'll try to top this.

I went to the supermarket once with my Oakleys, and must have left them on a shelf, because they were nowhere to be found afterwards.

I went roller blading in Hyde Park and made a call on my Sony Mobile in the mid 90s when phones cost an arm and a leg and half a kidney. I put the phone down on a bench and roller bladed away, and only later did I realise I was deceiving myself to justify getting a new phone despite not having the money for a replacement and no backup for the information on the phone I'd thrown away.

I was once returning from a 2 week sunny beach holiday n Kos. Greece. I'd tied by new Timberland boots to my luggage but must have untied them at some point when sat outside the airport, because they weren't there no more when I was boarding the plane.

I am pretty sure that man was a thief.
You do not sound sure enough, it seems to me.

I lost my brand new Motorola in a maruwa once. I too checked my pocket and chased down the maruwa, but I must have not noticed another one pass and ended up getting the wrong one. I called it immediately and it rang a couple of times, and that was it, gone.

It pained me much as I just bought it for my trip home and lost it in less than a week! Ended up with a Blackberry Z30, which I loved, then a Blackberry Motion, which I loved even more, and have been OnePlus Nords since, which I like.

Never in Africa? Maybe you need to Google the Zimbabwe incident (in 1994, I think). When you hear hunters' stories the odd creatures they meet are probably demons/aliens, but these are not documented properly. So, you'd expect the US to have way more documented evidence than Africa.
Alright, seldom. In Nigeria at least, we are more likely to have seen angels and even Jesus than aliens from out of space, and in UK, where you are more likely to be believed more if you claimed you saw a fairy at the bottom of your garden, they'd think we are mad if we claim we saw either.

Scammer!

Does this act still fool people!
I did not know it still did fool people.

I have a photo of me frying gari somewhere that I can use, albeit it was to relieve a 9 year old child I was teaching to read who couldn't leave her day job frying gari. I made her show me how to fry the gari so I could take over while she read the book I gave her. I lasted 10 minutes tops and went indoors to shed tears at the amount of work she did from sunup to sundown.

She graduated in Mass Comm 2 years ago, and is some of the best money I spent on another's learning.

Where are the atheist? the scientific philosophers of this present age?
We need the scientific rationalization of this event.
The world is actually bigger than our five senses
Especially if those senses are not used to ask and knock and seek for knowledge.

Atheists can't help you with this because we were not there to observe what happened, and we refuse to make up crap for you to believe.

Most of us brits? If you don't like them why are they sweeping the country? Am I missing something here?

Most brits, White and black don't like Labour party. This election shows exactly that.
You don't know what "sweeping the country" is. And I doubt you know what local government elections are and how it differs to a general election.

Elections held in exactly 181 of the 317 councils in England, and most of those where elections were held were Labour seats. So hardly "Most brits", nor sweep.

Certified and self-confessed pay doughs are asking people to move on from the Epstein files. Not surprising after all. All that pretense at caring about girls because of trans people in sports. We always knew it was hogwash. Can a person who’s self confessed to abusing children actually care about them? Highly doubtful
I am rather surprised myself that he'd want us to sweep thier pdfing under the carpet and make out it never happened, considering how they keep accusing those they have no evidence nor knowledge of on Nairaland.

It makes me think I should order ben a pizza so he's reminded not to move on until protections are in place.

Epstein still has no ties to the UK. Mandelson is a person not the country.

Epstein and all the debacle around him are now irrelevant. People should move on. Focus on the grooming gangs
Mandelson has ties to Epstein and UK and the Labour Party, so we are not likely to move on until we get all the facts, because, here we go after the big fish and the little fish too, unlike in some places where they cover up the head of the fish and focus on the scales.

Maybe who you want is not who has "been put there", but who is there was elected by the majority of voters who wanted him there.

So, next time, make sure who you want gets the most votes to be put there. That's democracy.
