First question was:

I think the fear of things make some guard information from the majority, least you get a dagger and revenge your fathers.

Also look up the "Elizabethan Religious Settlement", and the Puritan opposition that followed. The opposition to popery is what I think evolved into the eventual opposition to (traditional) 'belief' and Gods.

I think belief in God was dumped with belief in the Pope at the Reformation. Been there and done that and stopped believing, was most of Europe in the 15th Century when the Catholic Church lost its mystery to the Scientific Age. In England, read from the Book Common Prayer or you were Catholic and were persecuted just as some maga here would have Muslims and those they call 'illegals', but they soon evolved out of that. Know your place and have manners and be grateful to God and the King or Queen was it. They after all had the money to feed themselves from making others do the work so they can plunder so much of the world such that "the empire on which the sun never sets" was once their crown.

Yes, Church of England 12 years straight, Bible study for years, parochial church council secretary for 6, English to foreigners for 8 and youth classes. Hardly missed a Sunday less I was out the country, and I was away a bit. Only stopped being regular 12 years or so ago when the vicar changed then I got paralysed for my sinnings. Was a woman, then man took over and some insisted we teach Bible to our Muslim students in English class and the Council stopped our funding. Still went sometimes till recent. My 92 year old go to church buddy lived 5 minutes away but we walk so slow it took an hour. She died April and I haven't been since.

The congregation in my church has transitioned from mixed to mostly African migrants now, so belief has grown in importance, unfortunately, though I confess no one is compelling me. Just that the work bit has been displaced and I'm bored singing the same hymns and waiting for God to bless us. I sometimes wish I could just fake the belief and wake them up but they mostly old people now as the congregation has dwindled over the years. I never miss the barbecue in July though.

You get to know lots of bishops and vicars who are Atheists when you move around in the CofE like I did. Hardly any would do Adam and Eve but they keep silent because of the many vicars who don't Darwin. Most are silent about it, but an eye wink over a pint often loosens. They take joy in they kicked it out of schools and socials so their kids are not infected. I find most today would rather pub than God.

The Kemi effect is making conserved people open up and talk more about how they see God, and that conversation is rejuvenating the Conservatives, is what I think. Regardless, no politician has campaigned in the name of a book that King James wrote for over a century I'd bet, despite it appearing in every ceremonial we do. We are most definitely not the USA where doing God is concerned, that's for sure.

I don't think I've ever over generalised and opinionated from a cursory view this much. Do beware!

I grew up in the church, still very active. The White Evangelical Church doesn't sound like nor represent the Christianity I learned and grew up around.

Kemi really isn't a contradiction, but a Conservative conundrum. Many Brits, I'd say, of all parties, are traditional Church of England, which lacks belief, and which they conserve to do social good in the community. It's core are the owners of the land, the church and the aristocracy and the King, to whom a whole Mighty God crowned King James to rule and subdue and multiply and be blessed, a privilege intended to be conserved until Kingdom Come. Like USA though we have as many churches with as much diversity which I'm certain would include a Redeem and Cele, but most Brits don't do gods, period because the shops are shut and Man U is playing City and we need time to get to the pub.

Please, I am over generalising from cursory observation and not from some detailed study, though for past 25 years or so I've taken my uber-atheist self to church every Sunday for first 12 to observe by participating.

It is not only in Muslim countries that women lack opportunities. In Nigeria, some companies have policies of not employing married couples, so if you meet your partner at work one of you will have to resign, and I feel certain you would not argue that the resignee is not most often the woman.

Just about 100 years ago women in Europe were not awarded university degrees, and even in the 70s women could not have their own bank accounts in UK. It seems like ages ago, but those notions still linger in those cultures, though a lot is being done to demolish it.

Point is, the lack of opportunity does not in any way infer the lack of intelligence. Nigerians lack a lot opportunity in Nigeria but I hope you wouldn't claim the lack of as many inventions created in the west means we lack intelligence, because we do thrive as equally as westerners when western opprtunities are available for us.

The people in the study who actually went to church and studied the Bible were more welcoming to asylum seekers, supported the equal treatment of religions and believed less that "Britain’s Christian culture and heritage is important for being Christian".

Hard not to be welcoming in church when most churches are propped up by the tithes of migrants as the natives have mostly gone post-christianity and become secularised unbelievers.

Our King has elevated himself from 'defender of the faith' to "Defender of Faiths", and the traditional "Conservative Party at prayer" is now led by Kemi Badenoch who does not identify as a practicing Christian and has stated that she no longer believes in God, identifying instead as agnostic and a "cultural Christian".

One must be aware that religion constantly shifts in UK, and Christianity does not mean the same thing to all. We definitely do not practise what we call American Christianity, and we've even banned some of your preachers from preaching their hatred here.

After menopause, women do start becoming more like men by producing higher levels of male hormones.

Imagine we wouldn't have ordinary NHS to save us when the King is being saved. We would march to Buckingham and burn his palace and chop his head off again!

Britain has stopped relying on Gods and has learnt to form a healthcare system we can all rely on. But I guess it's easy for the child of a nurse to say having been paralysed waist down then healed by the National Health Service. I am very biased indeed on the side of those in support as I have been supported.

I think God should bless us Nigerians to develop a National Health Service in Nigeria, unlike the current service where the poor die while the rich go for health care in Paris and London.

You need to understand that UK is very different to USA. We are not, "it's the economy, stupid". We love our neighbours. UK refuses to maintain a stable economy at the expense of the lifes of its citizens. UK grew from little villages over centuries with everyone having family nearby, so a common pot of money tgat everyone contributes to to care for whoever gets sick would make sense since no single one of us is overburdened caring for our neighbour who is likely our blood. USA, on the other hand, I have perceive (meaning, how I see it), is cities of individual cowboys (historically speaking from the movies note as I never been there), so dog eats dog and the fittest survive. It like UK wrote Darwin and said we ain't having it while USA read it as how they should become.

The inflow of non-blood neighbours is what your Tommy Robinson is wailing against by the way. He loves the NHS but is against those keeping it going, sadly, like the tree that cheers the ax.

The one from Canada, I asked about the growing use...or at least suggestion to patients to use....Assisted Suicide and he said YES, it's true. I also asked him about prices in Canada and he said prices of goods are lower here...which I knew already from friends and family but I just wanted to check.

Now what? And however the UK system is operating, it's subsidized by the USA.

Intelligence is mental capacity. I also put it to you that a 'non-cursory observation' of men and women, which this subject deserves, do not show that men are more intelligent or productive than women given the same opportunity. I'd even go further and argue for the sake of it that women are way far more productive than men can ever be considering we all come out of a woman's belly, but that would be my hormones talking so ignore that bit please if you only want to count productivity in how many acres of bush one hoed or how much is had in the bank.

Regarding UK, the above is not true, even if some Doctors and nurses are fleeing, and our health system is not in shambles. But I guess you'd need to come and experience it to know.
