Lastpharoah33:
You captured my resolution about seeking knowledge and intentionally holding unto ignorance.

While the former might make one feel superior than the latter, he doesn't seem grasp that the more you know, the more restless and exhausted you become.

So, does it even matter to know more at all?
Yes, it does "matter to know more at all", despite "the more you know, the more restless and exhausted you become", at some point in life.

Knowing is a lifetime endeavour, and at some point one knows one knew less than one knows now, and one will know more in the future, and knowing more has not made "one feel superior than the latter", and nor will it in the future, least as far as feelings go. for that would in fact be not-knowing and ignorant.

Knowing opens one's eyes so one may see the inferior in one's own self and admit to oneself that one does not and can not know all, and thereby learn to be compassionate to one's ignorant self.

Besides, history has shown that the unknowing, as in those who do not seek for knowledge with all their heart and soul and mind and being from the cradle to the grave are often enslaved to those who know better and sought understanding of the knowledge so they may gain the principal thing which is Wisdom.

Basically, learn! Ignorance is expensive and not bliss.

No, I do not mean you, Lastpharoah33. You know more just being here.

It's funny how Budaatum wants to die on the Epstein case but he is not pushing for the report or instigation of the grooming gangs going back decades that the British government keeps hiding and stalling.
Below is a list of reports and action taken about gang grooming in UK. Unlike in America under dump where Epsteinism is de rigueur, I'd say Britain is doing pretty better considering dump is bombing Iran to stall and hide his own grooming.

But are you aware that you are asking me to do the equivalent of chop off the hands of the petty thief while the wealthy "donate" to hide their sins, and that one must chop off the head of a snake to kill it?

Even your Ojukwu was a card carrying member of the British Communist Party Oxford student branch and the only thing he got from his supposed education was how to lead a violent communist revolution in Nigeria hence why he joined the army as an NCO in a bid to instigate a rebellion and seize power for himself.
Funny this as I'm pro-reading Marx, yet vehemently against violence and thuthera's revolution. But as you said, perhaps Ojukwu got more from his education and reap according.

Below is a peaceful and democratical attempt to separate.

In 2020, through the empowerment partner grants, PayPal aimed to provide financial support and resources to Black-owned businesses and other underrepresented minority entrepreneurs that faced unprecedented challenges from the Covid pandemic. By empowering these businesses, PayPal sought to contribute to their growth and success in the marketplace. These grants provided direct support to business owners to cover expenses related to stabilizing and reopening their businesses.

Stop substance abuse
If only.

Atiku does not love Nigeria, that we all 'assume' let me say to hedge against those who might disagree, and it's been pointed out he can not run as vice again - gratitude to you all who educated me, but he most definitely might help put Peter Obi in to power by forming a coalition with Peter Obi and throwing his weight behind Peter Obi and picking Obi's vice and campaigning for Peter Obi.

But there's nothing in that for Atiku, who does not love Nigeria enough for such a no gain sacrifice to himself to help us remove APC and Tinubu, whom I feel needs removing by all means possible so we can audit our books after what might end up being 16 years of APC.

Actually Atiku Abubakar served as Vice President of Nigeria from 1999 to 2007, under one president, in one continuous political relationship. That is one VP tenure. He has not been VP a second time. He has run, unsuccessfully, for President six times. So it would be a second VP term, not a third.
Is there a reason he can not do 4-5 terms as VP?

It's disappointing for you to make this kind of thread

You mean Atiku can become a VP for the third time?
Did you just ignore the "if"?

No, I do not "mean Atiku can become a VP for the third time", since I don't know how or if the majority of Nigerians will vote for anything with his name on it as he is not loving Nigeria at all in my own opinion, but to add to your disappointment perhaps, since you think it matters, Obi - and I am Obidient, due to my anti-continuance of APC and despite my ọmọ wa ni, I can not see Obi winning the presidency against Tinubu without a hefty Northerner by his side.

And that's apart from the fact that Tinubu, despite life in Nigeria being more expensive and harder now that we can no more freely eat the subsidised fruit of every tree and now have to sweat from our own brow to feed our own bellies, has done some things that some seem to appreciate, hence their support, and some of those things will prepare us for our futures when everything will cost hundreds times what it cost today, unless you wanna argue we aren't capitalised enough for that yet or wouldn't definitely become in the future

I just wish he would stop government subsidizing wages for employers and scrap NYSC though, so employers are not incentivised to create a lack of the unskilled, but I would only mention that to disappoint you further.

We Nigerians can amuse me. Their supervisors have japa to where they are paid better and we don't want interns. Lol.

Was reading this earliar. Makes me think some basic healthcares might not be affordable without interns, who of course must be trained and supervised very well by supervisors who are sufficiently rewarded to not japa.

According to the statement, opposition parties must focus on building a formidable coalition capable of defeating the incumbent rather than making what it described as sentimental or symbolic decisions.
I can not disagree with this at all, and have gone as far as to suggest it for consideration by our Nairaland selves to see if it should-would wider field.

But, it could be an addendum to the first if at all, but, my SEER has spoke about us returning to the first anthem...I think I agree with him because He is so Practical in truth
I agree too. We just need to sing it proudly and eventually sing both.

Why is this thread morphing into a UK politics thread?
There are some tangential issues, but both countries are vast enough to have their own thread. In fact their own sections.
It's because a lot of us, wherever we are, are interested in USA politics because it affects us and warns us to avoid or prepare for what you might export to us.

Besides, are you not happy we are here to dilute the USA maga nonsense?
