Actually, 23710-54U11 is the original for the car, while 23710-54U16 was the last version. 2371M-54U16RE is the re-manufactured version, the tokunbo of which itself might not be easy to get. For 23710-54U16 this is what you have on the ECU: A18-L00-E00

God continue to bless you all...would do an extensive search on Saturday for those recommended ECU numbers then in Ladipo.

Just saw the attached online with detailed part number and expected ECU number, might be useful for some other people too i guess..

I also noticed we have been talking in terms of part number, would the typical "barada" guy in ladipo know what this means?

My question is what number written on the ECU is equivalent to that part number please?

You guys are simply the best...Would be storming Ladipo market now that i'm better informed.

Attached is the picture of last brainbox i bought and car was fantastic (no stalling, ran in closed loop, no funny PID readings, fuel consumption was superb) but all this lasted barely 1 month and the car started stalling, black exhaust and finally wouldn't even startup anymore.

Please who amongst us is in the business of this ECU that can afford me the opportunity to test run it for a couple of days and once confirmed i would make the purchase immediately.

Reason is i have spent so much on this car replacing all sorts of Sensors,distribution coil, fuel pump, camshaft sensor,crackshaft sensor, brainbox and wouldn't be too comfortable just throwing parts at it this time around.

Oil light issue: after my engine knocked and crackshaft and metal, 4 x pisting and rings, 2 x camp shaft replaced. The oil light always come up whenever the engine is on. But when you truttle it, the oil light goes of. I have change the oil switch and the oil pump, but this problem persist.
I still notice some noise from the engine when the car is being tuttled.

Please what could be reponsible for these??

Witnessed one while heading from costain to surulere, the pick pocket pretended to be trying to get his T fare from his pocket while indeed I could feel his hand inside my own pocket trying hard to pull out my handset. Looked down and noticed he had the flat folder like bag he placed on his lap and over my leg that prevented me from seeing what was going down. Didn't say a word and simply allowed him to continue struggling till we got to our final destination

Wouldn't be surprised if the original engine had also been replaced earlier. I have a maxima with about 250,000KM which people find difficult to believe when seen or driven. Maintenance is key

proper procedure is to measure current crankshaft diameter

If it is still within spec then you can effect a replacement of the bearings.

New Oem Bearings are available in the market

Can one source for genuine oem crankshaft bearing for 2000 Toyota camry 5SFE locally?

My engine has a tapping noise and the oil indicator flickers when engine is at idle. Been able to get the sump dropped and cleaned, replaced filter but no changes. Why I feel it's bearing replacement while engine is still running I address the issue

Come pick this for 400K. To fix items are 1. Rear shock absorbers 2. Paint body work.

I have a 2001 Camry that simply hesitates to accelerate and finally does with a little jerk in the transmission. I know it is a 4 plug 2.2 engine but i feel it isnt operating at optimum. What are the things to check please? Also noticed the air filter is dirty and socked in oil, can that also contribute in anyway?

Are these material prices also same in Lagos or cheaper been Ibadan? Or you have only been able to beat down prices generally..at 2 million with the project gone this far, i'm really keen to know.

Question is what could have caused the ATF burst? Road side mechanic is insisting the gear converter seal is the culprit.But that has not been changed but the oil is still retained without any leakage.So scared of driving the car now really.

Can the rosas still been installed to an existing decking that has a ceiling fan hanger?

Would the rosas be drilled or what? Still want to retain the hanger for other purposes such as putting a ceiling fan or hanging a chandelier light.

Autologic is located somewhere in gbagada close to Charlie boy bus_stop. Several recommendations from customers that have patronized him lately why I also want to visit.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Would be sending the motor to autologic place by next week for full diagnosis and repairs.

@feelme3 did you source for those spare parts yourself at ladipo or your technician did? Those prices should quite fair comparing against what I have spent on my car so far and issue still persists
