And the refusal letters follows after all the recommendations as shown below. Clearly many things were not put into consideration before reaching this decision.

1. Two bank statements were submitted for the application( One salary and personal account) with about 400K and 1.2M respectively why no reference was made to the other well funded account i don't know before reaching this decision.
2. A cover letter was also provided detailing all these information which certainly wasn't used
3. Documents regarding all the large deposits was explained in the cover letter and photocopies of all the treasury bills liquidated attached.

Is there a way of appealing this case as i feel the refusal is quite unjust?

Would i be thinking of applying for a trip and exhausting all i have saved just for a 7days trip?

Were the diligent enough not to have seen or noticed all the several other supporting documents i provided with this application?

Here's why: I'm not sure you're going to spend more than £35 on Transport within 5 days except you do a Coach Ride or Train Ride from one town to the other.

And you used a £1 = NGN445.65 exchange rate (correct?) I'd suggest using AbokiFx too, alongside Oanda. Actually, I think it's better to have a margin of error by overstating an exchange rate than understating it - in order to manage currency fluctuations.

Recently it wouldn't start up but crack well after driving few minutes of driving and making a stop. Kick on one attempt after resting for about 20mins.

2. Hotel: Giselle has covered this; so no need really touching it much.
You need to work it down low. Use Booking.com, filter the search to hotels within the postcode you're travelling to; also, use "Lowest First" filter to get cheaper/affordable rates. You can get £100 for 7 days, or lower.

3. Feeding: This means you'll spend roughly £21.5/day if we go with 7 days or £30 if we go with 5 days. I think this is fine. £150.

4. Sightseeing: NGN45,000 (£100 @ NGN450/£) should serve, instead of NGN80,000. Even if you plan visiting a museum, a ticket should be around £8-£15 but it depends.

5. Intra-City Transport: This, I know is fine. Mention in your cover letter that you'll purchase "Dayrider Ticket" per day so that it covers your bus trips within the city. So, £50.

6. Shopping & Miscellaneous: Chocolates, cookies, et al. could be gotten from 50p up. So perhaps the budget for this is okay or you can work down "Shopping" to £70 so that both adds up to £100.

Ur safe budget shudnt be more than twice ur disposable income.
My advice

Reduce your disposable income,
Look for a cheap hotel or hostel
Reduce trip to 6-9 days
Finally reduce total budget using disposable income x 2 as your yardstick

But since the leave allowance isnt started in the application, it is better to stick with the 2 times disposable income rule jeje.

If the applicant is entitled to a reasonable leave allowance, the budget is fine. With the leave allowance, only a small part of the monthly disposable income will be added to the trip budget and you will realize that the budget is just fine.

Got this Toyota matrix 2007 some months back with MIL on. Been able to scan and resolve all codes with exception of this P0420 code. Checked for exhaust leakage severally till I insisted that all the parking on the engine block, the muffler and adjoining Joints be replaced since no leakage was seen anywhere.

This resolved the loud exhaust noise with a much cooler running engine and fuel consumption for that week was superb, half what I used normally before the fix. Did a fuel Topup for the following week to continue my testing and car did some strange hard starting at the gas station and since then the consumption has gone very bad again.

A fresh scan result showing the only code P0420, what is your advise to resolve this on a 2007 Toyota matrix?

1. Hard starting atimes. Scanned and got code P0339 (crankshaft position sensor). Replaced the sensor but problem still persists. Rewire is saying that there is probably a connection issue between the sensor and the ECU. I also read online that a bad battery could also be the cause.

2. My brake lights are on even when the brakes are released. There is also enough brake fluid in the engine.
