[Only God knows the criteria for getting US visa again now cos I don't get it anymore. My visa expires in January, many people told me to use it before expiry and I will be stamped. But because I like following due process, I said NO that I'll renew my visa, now see my life. I have spent up to 500k applying and travelling for visa interviews. The same thing I got in 2016 by just saying the truth this way, and even now my income has increased and the claim is I am not eligible. It is well!
OMG! Again..I have been following your story especially...so sorry to hear this...It's well...and you have been plain honest and truthful..

Hello cheese mama. Congrats on your smooth experience. I will be using HNWMC too but I have been hearing scary stories about the peadtician bill. Please can I know about this package, what its called and how you went about it?.. wishing you a safe delivery.

Thank you.

.
Got all the information for paediatrician, pathologists and anaesthesiology. I was advised to call and confirm their fees. Paediatrician has a package for early self pay patients which is valid for 30 days from delivery date, they emphasised that i mention the name of the package when i call to pay.

Also my husband applied for his visa just before i left but was denied. He applied for a regular B1/B2 visa for vacation, was asked barely any questions and documents were not checked. He has good travel history. Now i'm here he will reapply again and see if that changes anything.

All in all, i've had a good experience thus far. Only thing is the hospital is quite far from where i'm staying. Uber/Lyft cost me over $80 today. The good thing is i'm saving accommodation costs so it balances out. I have made a mental note to leave as early as possible for the hospital on d-day. I did notice an InTown suites close to the hospital though.

So thats it. Now we wait.
OK just saw your reply to Gloriagee now..thank you and bless

If you don't want an apartment or renting on air bnb, you can check studio 6 on bammel Westfield road, it's like 10-15 minutes walking distance to the hospital and doctors office or 5 minutes with uber
Thanks so much...@chinemeze17. I'll check it out...I do want an apartment...but ultimately the best that works...thankiess

Do your homework, you would be confident at POE. I would do my best to respond to most PMs but if I don't respond to you, it is probably because I have not seen your moniker on this thread and I wont just dish out information I spent months gathering to any agent.
So true..I have been following and reading through this thread for months now. Even before I got pregnant.. I used the info gotten here as my guidelines and whenever I got stuck I come back here again to see what can be done.. I have over 15 correspondence from different states..I even got comfy calling the hospitals and asking all the questions to the answers I need and they are always very professional and courteous.
I am not perfect but I feel very confident with myself..so yes it pays to do your homework yourself..

SleekFullah:
Hi, in response to your question I'll advise you wait until you're pregnant before applying since your intention is to go have your baby in the US.... I found out about NL in 2014 through a friend, I wasn't pregnant then so I just took my time reading through. 2017 Gbam e happen... Lol, and that was when I applied for my visa... Told the VO I was going for delivery and got it... No documents were checked sef... She only asked me questions. I'll share my story soon.
Thanks so much..I'll be waiting on your story... God bless ya

Hello house, am new here and trust me when I say I have basically almost read every page of each thread from thread 1-5..please I have some burning questions

Am about to go for my interview but I have some questions.

1. I am not even pregnant yet or maybe I am cos working on it. So should I go for a normal B1 visa even though I know I will probably use for birthing or i might go for vacation first if need be..am just scared that incase one is refused and maybe the next time i go back am preggy they shouldnt think i lied intentionally? Or just wait till am fully preg so I can apply for the medical. I really dont want to misrepresent my intentions

2. How soon can I apply when pregnant?

3. Can my dad sponsor my trip with his company account or it has to be his personal account? Is this even allowed that its my dad and not my hubby sponsoring me?

4. Maryland is where we have relatives so I intend to use this to apply and probably change to a cheaper destination later..

5.apply alone or with hubby?

Wow see me planning way ahead I want to do things right...... In between I did have a us visa that I didnt get to use due to personal things that came up that period. I am well traveled to the UK and some Asian and middle east countries...my passport name has also changed to my marital name...your thoughts will be much appreciated
Thanks in anticipation.....
