Best to stay for less than 6 months. In everything in life try not to go to the max to leave some margin for error. So would recommend she stay for maybe 5 months and a few days or weeks and leave.

Hello please, I need some insights in understanding this process. I hear the last score was 380. Is there any reason why someone with 391 wouldn't get an invite. I'm a bit confused on this. Appreciate answers that could clear this out for me.

Actually Johnson and Johnson is currently the best of them out right now. It's effective against most of the new variants compared to Moderna and Pfizer.
And again, you probably don't understand he concept of this efficacy completely. Do you know that even the annual flu shot is most time not even up to 50% effective.

Hello USMissionNGRA, Thank you for your reply. I have now put in an application for the renewal of my F1 visa. However, its been over a week and i cannot seem to get an appointment date. I keep seeing the message "There are currently no appointment dates"
as shown in the screen shot. Also, i do not have an option to pick an emergency date. My new session starts by the last week in August 2019.

For doctoral students currently on F1 visas and who often require travel in and out of the US for academic conferences. How can they apply to renew their visas in Nigeria with the current 5 week wait periods for Dropbox? Since a wait time of 5 weeks would be a huge disruption to their academic program.
Are there other options or considerations available?

Should i not at least have seen an update on the waec certificate OR is it that all my other documents (scratch card, degree certificate and degree transcripts ) also need to come in before the status changes?

Please your advice is needed on this. Thank you

Hello all, Please would a fully funded graduate student (tuition+living expenses) all stated in the i 20 and award letter from the institution still require to take along or show any other financial evidence/personal funds/bank statements at the visa interview.

Considering a PhD prospective student who will be fully funded by his institution with a Research Assistanship, while filling the DS 160 form, the section that requires the information with " who will be responsible/funding your trip".
Does he select COMPANY/ORGANIZATION"
and If so, should the name, phone number and contact of the school or the department/faculty be provided in support of this.

So I was having a discussion with friends at work today about HIV and shockingly not all of us agreed on whether the virus is real or not. Some said it a development from the American government to wipe out the African population. They further backed it up with the following theories

1. Why is test results not always constant. They said whatever result you take, its all lies. Why is it that you get tested in a hospital and it reads positive. To clear your doubts, you move to another hospital the following day to get a test and it reads negative

2. Many people who have multiple sex partners never get the virus. (forget about theories that some people are immune to the virus) But a first time who decides to have unprotected sex contacts the virus. Isn't that unfair Aunty yetunde who is a prostitute is negative while sister chiamaka the choir mistress is positive.

3. Some said HIV might be real but doesn't leads to aids. Its the ARV drugs you take (supposedly developed but the western world to decrease population) that leads to AIDS.

4. The virus was an initial experiment but somehow escaped from the lab

5. Some said its real and have a cure but the pharmaceutical industries are after financial gain. They'll make more profits with patients managing the virus rather than an instant cure/#.
Ever heard of HIV DENIALISM ? Some denialists reject the existence of HIV, while others accept that the virus exists but say that it is a harmless passenger virus and not the cause of AIDS.

My own candid view is that the virus is real. But I don't believe it leads to AIDS. All the same, protection is key, abstinence is the best. If you test positive today, its not the end of the world. Life goes on.

My take is that i would really love to know where you work ?

One thing is that many of these organizations have tonnes of candidates to make the selections from, therefore they will continue to raise the bar in all forms just to weed out or sieve through the pool. But the sad part is that, they might not still get the the best fit for the job. The perfect fit might have been weeded out through the various stages of raising the bar. I think a good solution will be a custom fit recruitment process for particular or individual roles, but again the question is " are they willing to commit time and resources to that ?" or they just take the easy way out.

1) Please when filling the ds 160 for a toddler accompanying his mother, does one select the b2 visa also or the b1/b2 visa option?
2) Also for the contact in the US option, since the mother has no relatives there, the doctor's office was chosen as a contact, my question now is does one still choose this same contact for the toddler in his ds 160 form.

Congrats foxie on your upcoming wedding. I believe your mind is made up on which of these choices to pick. I completely understand your reasons and where you're coming from on them. The truth is that "different strokes for different folks", it really doesn't matter any of the two choices you pick.
But based on your beliefs and what you want for yourself i'll advise to try to convince him how important the matrimonial bed is for your first time. All the best dear

Also if one has a letter of introduction from your employer stating your role, how long you have been in the company and in what capacity do you still need an employment letter.

Its cheaper on the savings oh, no COT charged. you will fill an instruction form at any branch, just explain to them exactly what you want to do.

As for d 30 days ish,its crazy,how would sum1 travel a month b4 her course starts more money would be spent. So wots now d essence of filling d form where they asked 'On which date do u wish to travel.....'

I think we are having a little misconception about this 30 days rule. The 30 days actually starts counting before the course start date as stated on your CAS or if your visa is issued less than 30 days before your course starts it will start counting from when it is issued.

so for instance if your course starts 21st sept, your 30 days starts from 21st august ,if you got your visa before 21st august.
lets say you get your visa 10th sept, then your 30 days starts from 10th sept because its less than 30 days before your course starts.

Send them an e-mail. I experienced something similar. I was due on the 13th of May. So I e-mailed them on the 25th and got the certificate that same day.

Is it just me, but can anybody really see much sense in this minister's post. FG plans to stop the importation of petroleum products. He never stated how this will be achieved. What are the alternate sources or where are the plans for the refineries? How will diversifying our exports stop importation of petroleum products.
