He would later return to heroes welcome by his people and remained the undisputed leader of the Igbo nation until his death when he recievef a state burial. Why would Ojukwu stay back to be used as target practice by Nigerian Soldiers when he had a way to escape?

Why would Kanu, who has no weapons, stay in his room to be murdered by the Nigerian Army if he has a way of going to Isreal?
