When I buy phones I always ensure I charge before use to optimise ba3 and this F7 wasn't an exception. Am not the game type I dont even have a single game installed on my device. Besides calls, I do a few browsing and that is all. What I find rather preposterous is claim by tecno on the ba3 life when in reality this is so untrue. Surfice to say that they lied. If u don't mind the ba3, it is a great phone. However, it is very worrisome for me as I never bargain to continuously charge a phone when I was investing my 34k hard earned cash.

allow ur ba3 to rundown completely then charge it till its full. repeat process 3 times n enjoy ur battery life. its a general way of optimizing batteries n even sm tecno manual recomend this

Really I'm not talking about drainage but the battery behavior . It sometimes jump to 88% then falls back to 12% on rebooting, a typical case of bad ba3

u hv nt optimized it yet. allow it to drain completely ( let the battery die n device shot down) then charge while off or even with a good desktop charger till its completely filled. repeat this process three times and tell us what the result is. its the general way of optimizing batteries n tecno does state this process in sm of their manuals sef.

matrixme: You guys better get smart and don't let TECNO rip you off! there are equally good competition in market now. After using Tecno n3 for a while, I had to sell it off to get a 7-inch Bematel Smart Tab with SIM support for less than 26k. Though I enjoyed N3 but I feel liberated and different with my new tab which I've fallen in love with. Relatively new product . Besides, I'm only coming here to steal great apps recommendation. :-)

tabs are not 'handy' (unless u have a third hand)n hope u can easily find the companies care center cus its really a pain in the ass when nobody has a solution to ur problems.

francheezy hope u can help me. i messed arnd wit my phone system files (tecno P3 - i moved my facebook, carlcare, afmobi n sm oda less risky files to my sd via link2sd) i mistakenly used d recovery keys (vol up + power) n everything was lost including my root access. my problem is now hw to reroot my device. i v done several factory resets, cache wipe, ministro n su uninstul n still no access. anybody wit help? hollaslyd wr u dey? adewasco2k: exact same thing happened to me I was trying to remove or na insert the phone case so the case pressed the restore buttons and the only safe option is the restart but even after that it still wiped my phone so I was trying to root my phone again but I later found out even with the wipe the phone still remain rooted so that means rooting is a once and for all process...... so download root checker and see you will be surprised it's still root accessible

iv done dat n it says 'device is nt properly rooted' i even tried using my titanium backup to test n it says 'root access not granted'. iv even done a factory reset bt still d same thing. hope i mentioned that i moved sm system apps like facebook (not d core sys apps like wifi n their likes) jst 2 free up space. tnx for ur reply though. i really need help frm anybody cus P3 witout rootin no mk sense.

meehn, cnt root my device againoo. remember wen i said my phone fell, scattered n still had no problem? that was during d installation/updating of my facebook. wen i restarted the phone i couldnt see both the old n new versions of the facebook (i moved the old version 2 SD via link2sd). 2 days on i mistakenly launced d recovery mode (up vol key + power key) n on trying to exit ('reboot device') it launched a 'wipe'. everytin was lost - poot, ministro & su n i v bn tryn to root ever since then bt has nt bn able to. is this a perculiar problem or one or sm of the softwares are nt working cus i read abt ppl complaining of the ministro update on playstore. pls anybody with info, advice or help should pls post. tnx.

do what is written on the guide, xhaust it n then recharge till fill, it will mk ur battery last longer. remember to do this about 3 times

Dats usually d case with fast browsing phones. Jst mk sure d battery dies completly n d phone shots down n refuses to booth. Charge d phone till its full n leave it charging for xtra 30mins (mk sure u dnt ON d phone during charging) this is d general way to mk batteries last
long. Hope it works 4 u.

Gosh! Almost had a heart attack. My p3 fell down scatteredly facedown (battery n bk cover fell apart). Tot dat was d end only to rebooth n all is still perfect. This tecno guuys rock. My gionee a10 fell frm a lower hight n has bn trouble ever since till i sold it

it could be possible that etisalat requested diff specs for their P3 version but always bear in mind that if the specs reads '512' it doesnt mean that it will be exactly '512'. P3 is speced 512 RAM and 512 INTERNAL MEM but it usually comes with 455 INTERNAL MEM (60mb cache, 175ROM, 220 system mem) and 409RAM. to know ur full system specs download ANTUTU BENCHMARK, ROEHSOFT RAM EXPANDER (SWAP) or any related app.

u can update whatsapp without rooting, just uninstall all the apps u have installed and clear all cache to save up some ROM space. u will need about 20mb free space b4 it can update.

when u try using whatsapp and it tells u that the version has expired, u will see 'update' at the base just click it, alternatively, visit googleplay store, go to my apps -- installed apps, find whats app and update it

use a root explorer (u can download 'x-plore' frm google market). u may nt need to delete the file, jst uncheck 'others' n u are good to boot without sound.

this really is a great thread bt ppl should suggest apps and games as well as state reasons (features) y dey are the best so that other can compare them withe the app and games they alraedy have.

APPS:
- TITANIUM BACKUP: helps u to back up all ur apps and data both on ur SD and cloud, u can also schedule actions like auto backup of data, apps etc. (needs rooting for maximum performance)
- X-PLORE: best file manager i v used. edit, copy, modify, move, manage, share etc. all files both on system and SD. NB: ensure u know what u are doing before using this app else u may brick ur device. (needs rooting for maximum performance)
- ALL-IN-ONE TOOLKIT: those the same job which tuneup utility does on PCs. Cleans all cache both on ROM n SD,system boost, task killer capable, schedule cache cleanup and task killing, app manager etc.(needs rooting for maximum performance)
