Thank you guys i will try it now.

If you are an international student, the most efficient way to pay your student fees is through Western Union Business Solutions' bank-to-bank transfer. This option allows you to securely pay student fees (which are billed in Canadian dollars) in the currency of your choice.

The amount you transfer to the University of Ottawa must be only for university fees. To find out your balance, see your online statement of account. The University of Ottawa reserves the right to hold any funds sent in excess of tuition and other university fees for a subsequent session.

If you are paying your fees through Western Union Business Solutions yourself

Step 1: Log in to uoZone from the Students page. Under Finances and jobs, select Bank-to-bank transfer for international students.

Step 2:  Process the payment.

Your name and student number are automatically entered.
Enter the amount to be paid in Canadian dollars.
Select the currency you're paying in.*
Finalize the transaction.

Step 3: Initiate the bank transfer.

Take the confirmation page to your local bank.
Your bank then transfers the funds to Western Union Business Solutions.

Step 4: Receive your payment confirmation.

The University adds the Canadian dollar equivalent to your student account and sends a confirmation to your @uOttawa email account.

If a third party is paying your fees

Step 1: Select Bank-to-bank transfer for international students.

Step 2: Process the payment.

Enter the student's name and student number; please be sure to double-check the student's information to ensure the payment is credited to the correct student account.
Enter the amount to be paid in Canadian dollars.
Select the currency for the payment.*
Finalize the transaction.
Step 3: Initiate the bank transfer.

Take the confirmation page to your local bank.
Your bank then transfers the funds to Western Union Business Solutions.
Step 4: Receive your payment confirmation.

The University of Ottawa adds the Canadian dollar equivalent to the student account and sends a confirmation to the student’s @uOttawa email account.
*If your local currency is not on the list of payment options, you must choose another currency for your bank-to-bank transfer.

Please note that the exchange rate quoted is valid for 72 hours from the time indicated on the confirmation you receive after clicking on the Submit button. During this time, the payer must take the confirmation to the local bank, which initiates the transfer of funds through Western Union Business Solutions to the University of Ottawa. Western Union Business Solutions must receive your payment within 72 hours of you receiving the currency quote. If Western Union Business Solutions receives your payment after the 72-hour period, it makes the currency conversion using the current exchange rate.

See the Western Union Business Solutions information sheet for details. For other questions about this payment system email Western Union Business Solutions at studentinquiries@westernunion.com or call 1-877-218-8829.

My Brother, His pension account can only serve has additional documents.. the fund available for you is from that 5m...if he has other landed properties or other thing that brings income to him then fine....What the VOs want to see is that he is ready and more than capable to support you
without bringing any inconveniences to himself and his family.

Are you sure about this? undecided If he is still active in service, he cannot access his fund... If he is retired, he will be paid a monthly sum apart from the lump sum they have given to him and am telling you they cannot give him enough money at once that can be tangible for him to sponsor you... i work in a pension industry and have not heard of any new law that makes a pesion account run like a normal account.

Ljayy:

My sponsor told me he takes money easily from the pension savings account , he has done it in the past several times ......he told me that the Barriers for time has been layer off , depends on the agreement

You can only use them as added docs as he said... your sponsor cannot use their pension contributions to sponsor you.. it"s a retirment savings Account and can only be accessed when they retire... Am sure the VOsS also knows this info.

berexio1:
Yes it can be usedmmBt I will advise it b e used in addition to a personal savings or salary account.Becos pension is not easily accessible, and even at retirement, one only has some percentage to access.
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by bukky85: 10:35am On Nov 23, 2015
Amen!! We'll definately testify grin

berexio1:
Expect positive updates this week..Am talking to online applicants..

Don't ask me how I got the info.

Just come and testify..

madam wats the outcome of ur call? I won't advise u to use the email..The LOA is a prerequisite for visa and a very important document. Its not just abt whether you have been accepted or not.The document is binding on a contract. And u could be denied based on not providing it.I hope u are on upfront medicals tho so the process wud be faster for u..There is still a little window of time..Imagine, u submit ur app and ur sch issues the letter next week..Apply wisdom biko!
