Politics / Re: Nigeria Medical Students' Association President Killed In Nurtw Attack. by bulDozer: 3:25pm On Jun 07, 2011
As much as I hate crime, abhor killings and eschew from violence, I must say I am particularly happy at the killing of an Hausa man, who might probably be the only undergraduate in the Local Government he hails from, right in the heart of the south - west. Pray, what is newsworthy about it? What demands our pity? Are the best of southerners not been deliberately killed in the north? Are southern youth corpers not slaughtered at will like Fulani cattle to satisfy the killing urge of the northerners on a day to day basis? It disheartens me that he was only an innocent victim of the NURTW clashes, who cares not whether he is Hausa or not. Had it been he were deliberately killed by southerners, cognizant of the fact that he is a northerner, I would have popped champagne.
Good riddance to a very bad rubbish.
Politics / Re: Would Boko Haram Embrace Amnesty As Advised? by bulDozer: 9:45am On Jun 07, 2011
namfav:

boko haram should exist first before there can be talk of amnesty, you don't give an amnesty to what is believed to be an ideology shared by a small group, boko haram or whatever the media tries to make it is not a political threat

No, it is not a political threat. It is a national tragedy of the highest bestial order. @ namfav, do you have any sense at all?

This is nothing but another plot to make criminals relevant in national politics. Has the amnesty in the Niger - Delta worked? Shiooooo.  shocked

During the 2011 June Holy Ghost Service, a man testified that his daughter that had been dead for 4 days rose up from the dead after four days, when he prayed that the God of our father in the Lord should intervene.

@ OP, u mean someone unconscious for 4 days.

How did the man stay with a dead body for 4 days without the body smelling and other things.

Is the man a doctor who confirm the daughter is dead?

i laugh in RCCG grin

You mean the Retarded Circus Clowns of Goats? Thats how I define RCCGgrin

you hypocritical penterascals.someone prayed 2 d God of adeboye abi?but if a catholic says virgin Mary pray 4 me it becomes idolatary, what a double standard

@chukwudi44
I think the penterascals
grin should rather be left to die in their ignorance. May the Blessed Virgin Mary give me the grace to be a Catholic till I die. I look forward to receiving the Extreme Unction at the hands of a Reverend Father -not a "Daddy" or "GO" - as I draw my dying breath on my death bed whenever I finish my earthly sojourn.

The man is nothing but a commercial pastor feeding fat on his congregation's offerings and tithes. If he is a man of God let him build a hospital where the poor can be treated for free, instead of buying a private jet. Even Jesus warned us to beware of false prophets.

QED.

Can someone please invite the US navy SEALs fast before Bank-ole disappears? I think we need an operation reminiscent of the Osama bin Laden type in Pakistan since EFCC operatives and the police has failed to arrest him. Is this not the shame of a nation?

thunderboy:

Since the EFCC ( exquisite federal corrupt cops )  is incapable of arresting him , then Jonathan should invite the US Navy Seals to finish the job ,  if they fail then definitely the Boko haram will get the job done. grin  It baffles me why this people think they can fool everybody  angry angry angry
Seconded.

mine was wen our flight from Turkey enroute Lagos landed in one of the bus stops in Ikeja, Lagos, to drop off some passengers, unknown to the Pilot that the bus stop is an illegal one and we were busted by LASTMA. The plane was towed of course
You are not serious.  grin

indie22:

I once took a flight on afriqair from lagos to london gatwick via tripoli, i must say that was the worst flight of my life. We boarded what looked to me like a plane from outside and a molue inside to Tripoli, the plane was shaking all through the flight, i wasnt sure if it was turbulence or nuts and bolts in the plane coming undone, it was dead cold in the aircraft and we had no blankets, no food, no inflight entertainement, i had to ask one of the cabin crew if i could borrow his jacket when blankets were not available as it was kind of chilly, and guess what? One of the cabin crew was smoking on board the aircraft, in the toilet and no one paid him any attention.

We got to tripoli and i felt like i was in a war zone, people carrying guns freely, immigration officers yelling at people, gadafi's huge potraits all over the place, we were there for over 3 hours, in my mind i cursed the travel agent who booked me on the flight (not like i blamed her anyway as i was being an 'ijebu' and was looking for the cheapest flight possible.

People were being harrassed unecessary, it was just hellish. When we eventually got on a flight to london, we were finally fed some weird looking food that looked like fried eggs and dried bread, and we had coke poured into cups to drink (3 people per bottle).

They'll definitely get my award for the crappiest airline ever!

Funny!

No electricity at that time, right? Lucky you.

You can safely cling to high tension electrical cables for up to 6 months in Nigeria if you so wish. grin

We probably both need help. Let me know when you get some!

The experience is as a result of the pressure in the cabin. Chewing gums during the flight sure helps. In my own case I only experience it during descent. Good luck.
