The Kaduna Polytechnic Management has terminated the appointment of a former Head of Department, Civil Engineering, Engineer Danjuma Alhassan over allegation of sexual harassment of a female student of the institution. The Governing Council ‎of the Polytechnic had at its 91st regular meeting held on 30th January, 2020 ‎ of Kaduna Polytechnic approved the termination of the Lecturer’s appointment. This was contained in a letter issued on 31 -January,2020 and signed by ‎Samuel Y. Obochi, ‎Deputy Registrar, Information & Protocol‎ For the Registrar‎.

In the 70s during the civil war, Metro Cinema, Yaba, Lagos was bombed, by the rebel forces. The (Nigerian) Security and Civil Defense Corps was set up by the South West as a voluntary organization, to assist in civil matters, and also as a reaction to the exigency of that time. It was resisted by the powers that was. Today, the Corps has been hijacked by the Federal Government. They are now using "Federal Character" to get their children enlisted in the Corps.
The Oyo State Government set up the Road Safety Corps around 1978 to control traffic and prevent road accidents in Oyo State.
Prof Wole Soyinka was the first Corps Marshall.
Shehu Shagari's Government, banned the operatives from operating on the Federal roads. Today it had been hijacked by the same Federal Government.
Some people are simply afraid and jealous of progressive innovations of mental Giants, not because the ideas are necessarily bad, but because it exposes their own emptiness and lac of ideas. There is nothing anybody can do to draw the progress of Yoruba race backward. Ours is a pace setting race. Whether Amotekun will make or break Nigeria, it has come to stay.

WHATSAPP DOWN: MESSAGING APP NOT WORKING FOR SOME USERS

WhatsApp is down, according to some users.

Hundreds of people reported problems with the popular messaging app on Sunday morning.

Users around the world are experiencing issues with WhatsApp, according to website health tracker Down Detector.

Europe is the worst affected region, though parts of Asia and South America also face severe disruption.

It is the latest in a series of outages to hit the Facebook-owned app, with a major incident in March last year leaving users cut off for nearly an entire day.

More than 500 million people use the app each day and many have taken out their frustrations across Twitter and Facebook.

A spokesperson for WhatsApp did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A report earlier this month revealed that WhatsApp is the worst-hit platform for internet shutdowns.

The app suffered 6,236 hours of deliberate disruption in 2019, largely as a result of authoritarian governments blocking access to it.

The app's secure encryption and vast user base make it popular among protesters who want to evade authorities during periods of civil unrest.

99% of those who comment here have never been to Kwara state or don't know the place in question. The kind of structure Baba Oloye put on that land clearly shows he himself knows it's not is own. He simply erect fence and temporary structures. Why is Baba main house not touched? Why is ur own house not touched?

If you are so pained madam why not buy another land and use it for this same purpose. How many people have you feed since Baba demised?
