What I experienced last night is still making me speechless till now, it seems i'm In another world o. I still can't believe what this stranger did.

I jejely took myself to shaunz bar to unwind due to my poor performance this week,i was totally angry because of the multiple polite insults I received from my boss, I decided to uplift my spirit since it was karaoke night. It's been a while I took long Island iced tea so I requested for it. That's how I was enjoying one lady's performance when this dude walked up to me and asked why I was sitting alone. I replied his question with an answer that since when has it become a crime for a lady to sit alone to have a glass of tequila.

He asked why I was rude, in my mind I was like "who be this one sef" carry your wahala and be going, i'm not in the mood. He introduced himself as b***y and said he was a staff of Fcmb. My brain formatted immediately I was like see another banker demon,not today lucifer, not today! He refused to leave even when I showed an "I don't care attitude" he kept cracking jokes.

See me laughing hard 20mins later o, unlike the dude who was dragging a plate of Asun with me,this one ordered an expensive wine and peppered snails for us! He was fun, he cracked lots of jokes, his friends and colleagues came around,they didn't believe we just met cos the bonding was cool. That's how I stood up to the rest room when I noticed the ground was suddenly uneven,i started seeing double. At first I panicked because obviously I was tipsy, I didn't realise I had taken too much cos the fun and jokes were off the hook. I came back and told him I would be leaving immediately,he asked if I drove, I said no! That i'd call a cab. He objected that it wasn't safe, I don't know how to knew I was tipsy. He took excuse from his friends and offered to drop me home! I panicked, I objected, he insisted. Grabbed his keys,settled the bouncers at the door and helped me down the staircase.

I sha remember I was laughing and talking too much inside his car, I still remembered the direction to my house thankfully. We got to my gate, he helped me outa the car, carried me to my flat, I brought out my keys, he opened the burglary and handed the keys back to me and said "drink a lot of water and sleep, tomorrow you would laugh at yourself, goodnight" I remember pulling his hand and hugging him, he reciprocated but that was it. He left without looking back. I just woke up and remembered we never exchanged contacts, I know his branch. Fcmb would see me next week!

So there are some nice Bankers afterall i'm still in shock.

You should come to the UK and see what Yoruba guys do... not saying other tribes are not involve in crime but 7 out of 10 Yoruba guys are known for frudlelent activity. So it time we stop acting like western world media ... when a Nigerian or one with Nigerian origin commits crime... they are Nigerian. But when they are doing gr8... they won't be recognise as Nigerian. Enough of this madness. Be it Igbos, Yorubas, Hausa etc.. The last I checked we are all Nigerians. Proud Nigerian.

It's 2-3-1 as 2 has the right of way followed by 3. Their is a red sign in front of 1 which means Yield! It means let other road users go first. A yield sign assigns the right-of-way to traffic in certain intersections. If you see a yield sign ahead, be prepared to let other drivers crossing your road take the right-of-way. And don't forget about bicycles and pedestrians!

Seen lots of people miss interpreting a rounder about for this sign. If it was at a round about then vehicle coming from the right has right of way (UK Road users or right hand driving countries only) so I guess in Nigeria it should be the opposite way.

Correct way is 2-3-1 thanks.

I'm quite disappointed seeing the way guys in lagos behave these days! This thread is based on stories i'v heard from friends and my experience as well.

Recently a friend in access bank borrowed her boyfriend 800k to start a business but got the shocking news that her boyfriend of 3years has eloped to UK without a trace.

As a pretty tall lady I get to have a lot of these guys as "toasters" even though i'm not always interested but I always have one or 2 things to add to my smartness. These are the questions an average lagos guy ask these days:

1) where do you live? Island or mainland
Once they hear lekki, oniru, ajah the next question is "do u live alone" if the answer is no, you would instantly see the disappointment but if it's yes, the next question is "when am I visiting, hope u cook well, is it a flat or self-con, I would sleep over o......... you can imagine!

2) where do you work? If they hear kpmg,gtb,acceSs, chevron etc instantly they become available for dating! They discharge any side chick to avoid complications as they wouldn't have to spend a dime on you.

If they hear: sorry i'm an applicant or a company that pays 40k e go be later for that babe

3) Do u have a car? Dude seriously? U wanna be driving my car? I buy fuel with my hard earned money while you park yours and you think i'm gonna release my keys to you to tour round lagos? Have a re-think.

4) what's your net worth? How much do you have in your account? How much do they pay you! Trust me they have other ways to check. I once dated a guy who called his cousin in my company to confirm how much I earn. Next thing he started complaining about low funds,how he needed to get a house bla bla bla. I kicked his ass to the curbs!

5) what do your parents do? Are they retired? Does your dad have companies? How many are you guys? Are u the first daughter(to know if u entitled to properties) how many cars do they have? Does your dad play gulf? Is he a member of polo club? no be only polo club na palmwine drinkers club e dey, rubbish!

Have you been out of the country before?? Yes dude i'v been to Somalia, that's abroad as well

Ladies who have no experience in relationship matters or those who are blinded by love tend to talk too much and become victims of these scammers. Next thing u hear is baby we must get married this year, I must settle down with you, this is my last bus stop, u are everything I want in a woman, meeeeen u'v got class babe, and the mumu would be blushing and putting his pics on BlackBerry and instagram with #mybooforages

Fast forward 3months later, u start hearing stories like I borrowed the ediot 300k he eloped, he took my 500k and when I asked he threatened to release my nude pictures etc

So these days it's all a game,the smart ones scale through! It not just ladies who do all that,guys have now adopted this new style and a lot get away with it. So y'all should not come here weeping and wailing about ladies, guys now have a degree in gold digging although some just enrolled in the university of gold diggers, others now have masters and phd.

Slovenians voted against a law that would enable same-sex couples to get married and to adopt children, preliminary results of the State Electoral Commission showed on Sunday.

The results released Sunday by authorities show 63 percent voted against a bill that defines marriage as a union of two adults, while 37 percent were in favor.

The results were incomplete, but were unlikely to change significantly in the final tally.

Parliament introduced marriage equality in March, but conservative groups, backed by the Catholic Church, pushed through a popular vote on the issue.

The grandson of Former American President Jimmy Carter has died at the age of 28. Jeremy Carter cause of death remain unclear.

Carter told the crowded church that his grandson hadn’t been feeling well Saturday and laid down to take a nap at his family’s home in Peachtree City. His mother checked on him later and discovered his heart had stopped.

He died early Sunday at the hospital. The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Church member Jill Stuckey described Jeremy Carter, the son of Jeff and Annette Carter, as a “great, fun-loving guy” who came to Plains whenever he could. Pastor Jeremy Shoulta said news of his death hit the congregation hard.
