We have many Igbo markets in Lagos. How many Yoruba markets are in Onitsha? None! Onitsha is for Ndigbo and they must control it. How many Yoruba are market leaders in Onitsha? None.
Yet Ndigbo will be challenging Yoruba headship of market in Lagos.

Fulani's don't buy land. The complaints are about giving up expanded hectares of land for free because of a political promise for office or protection.
The truth is there is no land for sale in Igbo land. Igbo cannot live side by side with a large population of non - Igbo in their midst in Igbo land. They can never cope. The hospitality the Yoruba and other ethnic nationalities afford the Igbo in their millions cannot be reciprocated by the Igbo. I cannot imagine a population of one million Yoruba and two million Fulani in Igbo land.

no issues if they remain as peaceful as igbos in Lagos and if they are willing to buy the land they use
That is exactly what the Fulani are doing in Abia state but Ipob has started cooking up propaganda against the Fulani. This is due to the land grabbing philosophy of Ipob which states that Indigbo must displace the indigenes of any land they settle settle among. This is the basis of the false flag Ipob is raising against the Fulani purchase of land in Abia state and by extension the whole of south east.

the fulanis own the farms they destroy to feed their cows? Wow...that's news to me. We are not worried that they are selling cows in Abia. We are worried that they are causing trouble for our farmers and women
For peace to rain Fulani are willing to pay for land and move in mass to the east the way Ndigbo are in Yoruba land. The peace - loving Fulani want to establish Fulani communities in Igbo land the way Igbo are in Lagos. While they have not started this yet Ndigbo are raising false alarm and misinforming the public. It is not fair.

The major difference being that Buhari is treating Fulani terrorism with kid gloves and giving them massive amounts of money, while on the other hand, criminals from the other part of the country who have committed less grievous crimes than the fulanis, are crushed with sledge hammers.

If Fulani criminals will not be hounded like criminals from other parts of the country, then it makes sense for Igbos not to want Fulanis buying up their lands, because once they settle, their criminals will be treated like sacred cows, while terrorizing the Igbo communities they are based in
It is not right that a whole ethnic nationality should suffer for the crimes of some criminal elements among them. Not all Ndigbo are good, bad elements are among Ndigbo too.

Afonja logic at its best grin grin grin surely Awolowo will really be proud of the freed education and cognitive reasoning legacies he bequeathed to his people.
The Fulani that are setting up cattle market on the land they buy are threatened by your people. They are not killing. They just buy land in Igbo land the way Ndigbo buy land in Yoruba land. Their crime is buying Igbo land.

Yeah ethnic jingoist, the Yorubas that have been threatening to attack Igbos simply because they are too stupid not to outcompete or outsmart the Igbos that are buying up their lands are saints abi? Oba of Lagos that threatened to drown Igbos in the Lagoon etc are also saints...

Niggah just STFU, your attempts at blackmailing the Igbos are dead on arrival, focus on your ills plaguing your region and stop hobnobbing Igbos into your pathetic blame game antics.
Ipob is to Ndigbo what killer herdsmen are to the Fulani. Same agenda: take over other's land. The only difference is their respective approach.

Daft thread, a thread replete with so much ignorance and misinformation. When last did you hear of any law abiding Northerner in the East been attacked or harrassed? there are many of Hausa communities in the East and these people have lived and co-existed peacefully in various parts of the East for years. They own lands, practice their religions and businesses unperturbed. Next time learn to separate knee-jerk reactions from a known rabbke-rouser like Nnamdi Kanu and his sheepish followers who revel and thrive in falsehoods from rational and cognitively sound Igbos who know better.

Now it's a known fact that the main threat we face in Nigeria more than any indices of insecurity is the issue of Fulani herdsmen who are seriously on a rampage all over the country. Except you are intentionally too daft or just disingenuous not to know what's going on in the South and Middle belt in the context of killings by herdsmen, then it's best you just STFU and stop your boring ethnic baiting shenanigans. Igbos don't come to the South west and kill, displace or rape your people... we use our sheer hustle, smarts and business acuity to buy and develop lands and properties in Lagos and other parts of the SW. So your attempts to blackmail Igbos with the unfounded assertions that we have a problem with law abiding Northerners coming to the East to buy lands and live are dead on arrival. Our problem is with the Fulani herdsmen who come and occupy farms and lands forcefully like they are doing all over the nation...not with our peace loving Northern brothers who have lived and co-existed with us for years with no qualms.
Yoruba problem is with the criminal Igbo and and the hate and supremacist group, Ipob.

Respect is reciprocal, I believe.

Igbos have been staying in Yoruba land for years, you don't see these two sets fighting and killing each other BUT it is kind of totally different when it comes to the northerners.

Yoruba people did not start Amotekun because of Igbo, they did it because some particular sets have been murdering their people just to feed animals.

If you want peace and hospitality, you have to work towards it.
Ipob have declared war on Yoruba and Yoruba nationalism is on the rise. It is Cold war.

I think the northerners are partly to blame for the way Igbos treat them.

Either way, we can't neglect the fact that all the tribes in Nigeria look at other tribes with suspicion and a little bit of contempt.

it may not be as widespread in Southwest as it is in other parts of the country, but it is still there.
"he Who Comes Into Equity Must Come With Clean Hands." Ndigbo affirm their right to own land in Yoruba land and so should also allow the Fulani to own land in Igbo land.
PoliticsAbia And Fulani Market; Lagos And Ndigbo Market by Bulleye(op): 10:20am On Jul 01, 2020
What is the population of the Fulani in the whole of south east? What is the population of the Fulani in Abia state?
The two questions become pertinent in the light of Ndigbo claim that the Fulani cattle rearers are taking over Abia state. We should not forget that when Ipob speaks, it is Ndigbo that speak.

Ndigbo are out attacking Fulani for buying land in Abia state. The Fulani are paying for this land and are using it for legitimate business. They are not Invaders. We should also remember that the Fulani are citizens of Nigeria and as a result have the right to settle in any part of the country to carry out their legitimate business just like Ndigbo.

It is an irony that Ndigbo are accusing the Fulani of taking over their land whereas this same Ndigbo are laying claim to Yoruba land. Ndigbo are defending their purchase of land in Yoruba land while at the same time raising alarm that Fulani are buying over their homelands. Ndigbo are boasting of buying over all Yoruba land while they cannot allow the Fulani to settle in Biafra.

Every nook and cranny of Nigeria is home to Ndigbo. They carry out their legitimate business without threat and intimidations. It is unfortunate that the same Ndigbo that settle among other ethnic nationalities can be jittery seeing Fulani in Obodo Ndigbo.

Nobody should be deceived by the reasons put forward by Ndigbo for rejecting Fulani in the east. The truth is Ndigbo do not accommodate other ethnic nationalities the way they are welcome outside Biafra.

If Ndigbo can buy land in Lagos and build shops and market, so should Fulani be allowed to buy land in Abia and other parts of Igbo land.

We want to see Fulani cattle market all over the east the way Igbo shops and markets are scattered throughout Yoruba land. Nobody wants to take over Igbo land. Fulani are paying for the land and Igbo are willing sellers. As Igbo shops spread throughout Yoruba land so should Fulani cattle markets be visible in Igbo land.
PoliticsIpob: Ndigbo Frankenstein by Bulleye(op): 1:59pm On Jun 30, 2020
They gloat over taking over the land of the natives among whom they settle; they boast of how they will destroy the ethnic nationalities homelands and turn the natives into slaves; they deafen everyone with the noise of developing the homelands of the Aborigines while the sons of the soil are lazy; they roll out statitistics to prove how they dominate the economy; they are in charge of the entertainment, so they bark at us.

Ipob claim Ndigbo dominate Nigeria's economy and without them Nigeria's economy will crash. With their domination however Nigeria's economy is in doldrums and Nigeria is yet to be among the most developed countries in the world. This proves Indigbo are not as good in economic matter as they claim. In entertainment also they are yet to lead us to Hollywood status since we were conquered by them and they started dictating the terms.

While bragging about this Ndigbo never see anything wrong in all this propaganda of Ipob. The repercussions of the actions of Ipob are never given a thought by Ndigbo political elite. To them Ipob is working and they feel satisfied with their
performance. Ndigbo are number one and Ipob is blowing their trumpet for the whole world to see.

The impact of the insults and abuse Ipob rain on other ethnic nationalities are not felt by Ndigbo so they keep quiet. They are okay with it. Ipob is dealing with their enemies and so there is no cause for alarm.

However of recent Ndigbo Frankenstein's monster is out of their control just like Boko Haram became in the North. Ipob is now baring their fangs at their creators. Ndigbo are about to start partaking in what others have been bombarded with by Ipob.

Nwodo is feeling the heat now and very soon the danger which Ipob dogmatism represents will reverberate thorough out Biafra. It is a Boomerang.

Now that Ndigbo are clamoring for the presidency it is hoped that they are not scheming to take over the political power to the exclusion of other ethnic nationalities the way they are dominating Nigeria's economy. Ndigbo has passion to dominate so claim Ipob.

What will Ndigbo do about Ipob, the Frankenstein's monster?

PoliticsThe Final Onslaught On Progressives In APC by Bulleye(op):
APC stands for All Progressives Congress. From its name APC is the umbrella for those who believe in peaceful coexistence of all the ethnic nationalities in Nigeria without fear of domination by any of them. The progressives within the party had a dream to revive Nigeria back to life after years of the locusts and the termites. PDP left Nigeria in ruins and all hope was lost. The progressives in APC convinced Nigerians to support the party and assured them of a better life.

However rather than Nigeria improve, things got was. It became clear to Nigerians that they had jumped from frying pan into fire. All hopes were dashed. The question then arose: why did we vote out PDP when APC is worse?

We started hearing RUGA. We were told all the hinterland waterways and their Banks were to be taking over by the federal government. If your name is not Mohammad or Abdullahi you dare not approach Aso Rock. We were made to understand that all Nigerians voted for the president but the presidency does not belong to Nigeria - It belongs to the village where the president comes from. It was so bad a presidential spokesperson asked Nigerians to choose between being alive by giving out their homeland or being killed by butchers of men, women and children from Libya if they hold on to their ancestral land.

Then people stated asking about the where about of the progressives in APC. The progressives promised true federalism and restructuring; they assured all Nigerians of security; they told us our Naira would be strong; we were made to believe there would be regular electricity supply. But now the Progressives are nowhere to be found.

Now we know what happened to the Progressives that made us vote for APC: they have been decimated. They were used to gather our vote. Like armed robbers who hide behind a member of a household to force the occupants of a building to open the door for them so were progressives in APC used to get our vote. We were scammed!
