It is no news that majority of Peter Obi's supporters are extremists who are opposed to any opinion contrary to theirs. They are dangerous, online and in real life. In the south east, their militia wing is made up of unknown gun men, Eastern Security Network, IPOB and other killer groups that kidnap and blackmail people to support Obi. On social media, Obi's supporters are known as obidients. Both the former and the latter work together to give rise to the most violent political support group in the history of political campaign in Nigeria.

Obi will go down as the presidential candidate with the most violent supporters in Nigeria's history.

As it stands now, reasonable persons are avoiding and rejecting Obi because of his violent supporters. However, the deluded supporters of Obi keep saying they do not need a structure.

Obi is on a free fall presently and it is good for our democracy. Having Obi in Aso Rock will set Nigeria on fire because Nigerians will rise up against his myopic and violent supporters who do not give room for debate and criticism. Nigerians should say no to Obi's march to Aso Rock.
