The only way petrol and diesel will come down is if bala blue will bring the exchange rate at least back to where he met it.it would take 6-7 month’s for trust and stability to return. I didn’t blame tinubu for announcing subsidy is gone, one thing is to announce it and another thing is to implement it, initially his team denied it and fine tunes it to mean something else but later they accepted that announcement after meetings between themselves which means it was a deliberate decision supervised by poorly thought individuals, the reason was that tinubu don’t want to get involved in subsidy scams,

And Even the government were surprised when the NNPC announced the new pump price of petrol as they never even thought it will get to N500 in the first place, Everything was poorly done by fools. The dangote refinery is coming mantra get to their head without even asking themselves alot of questions about the dangote business model and operation cost.

Rather they came up with palliatives to cushion the effects, palliative was the perfect decision by the committee’s which was highly praised by tinubu mercenaries here on nairaland. 70009 was 100$ before tinubu enter office but today 70000 is 40$. Increasing state revenue less than 100% means the states are more poorer than he met them due to inflation. In conclusion fuel subsidy removal is the least of our problem. The major problem is the weakly exchange rate. If exchange rate is fixed. Subsidy or no subsidy the fuel and everything else will be cheaper for Nigerians

They should use it to import food that the govt itself will SELL at subsidize rates...or allow the public import themselves duty free for 1yr.

From my observations between tinubu and buhari. I would say Buhari is more intelligent than tinubu. But that doesn’t mean buhari is intelligent either. Both of them are below the IQ ratings of An average intelligent person.
