helinues: Is one poor boy living in ghetto. Their mentality is so bad to the extent they use their miserable life to measure everyone else. There are life above that terrible life you are living in one rat-infested slums in lagos.
From the elephant tusks. It only shows war was declared on elephant and it was a pride and honor to have killed one, and elephant became instinct in Nigeria.
It all shows this people have no plan for Nigeria.
Dangote that has Shareholders and borrowed billions of dollars, is what tinubu government is saying the refinery will crash the price of fuel after subsidy removal.
This government have no concrete structure or clear out plan. They just say anything under assumption to deceived Nigerians
Converting to cng takes times, years of planing and gradually moving every state one by one after partial removal. Subsidized the kits and building more and more cng stations before removing fuel subsidy fully. The impact wouldn’t be like what it is today
In support . But pep look like someone that is using voodoo and seer.
The game against Tottenham. After pep change the goal keeper. Spurs make attempt to score but that goal keeper rush out to defend the goal. If pep didn’t change that goal keeper that chance would have been a goal
I came across this youtube video after my search. My curiosity made me to search about it on how the placenta is removed. If so how did the early humans remove it or have a knowledge to remove it? Some placenta failed to come out whole automatic so they would apply the manual
michlins: Ukraine war is the major culprit with our exchange rates. Those trade embargos on Russia too.
8 by 4 2mm sheet of pan went from 30 to 70k within one year. This thing is affecting my business badly
how much is iron door now? Just few years ago 20k to 30 would get good one. Alot of people have abandoned such projects now. Land of 1m two years ago is 5m now.
steel metal is expensive right now either unprocessed or processed. within the last 4 years it increases greatly by 10 folds but this year alone the price was above the roof. Plain sheet of iron pan 8by4inch is 30k right now from 5k just about 5 years ago.
Locally made thick iron door just 20years was 8k and the one with fine design was 10k to 12k. While the lite one made with thin pan sheet was much more cheaper far below Like 4k.
I bought those short iron frame for my water tank 2019 just 8k. Today that same iron is about 90-120k.
I recently did a modification to the frame and spend 60k for the small work i couldn’t believe it.
What could be the reason? Is it due to the war in Ukraine? Energy cost in Europe is affecting steel over there and it might be the reason outside of the dollar inflation in Nigeria.
Lol. Dangote refinery will crash dollar. Where are they? Propaganda and assumptions can’t bring dollar down.
America or world bank can never help you against the dollar. Anything they would do is further devalued your currency and destroy your economy that is what they want. They pressure buhari to further devalued the naira.
Tinubu is a baby in politics and economy. He was only opportune to put lagos in his pockets. But surely he have no idea how an economy is been run. the way he removed subsidy shows he wasn’t intelligent enough
It’s personal business , they need to secure their server. Though the news is old. Why reporting it now? Is this a justification of the cyber security levy?
TheBill: Dependence on Oil Revenue Nigeria’s external reserves owe much of its growth to the development at the international crude oil market. The Nigerian government has been dependent on oil revenue for more than half of its budget and more than 90% of its foreign exchange.
Debt Servicing Nigeria’s federal and state entities have borrowed so much money that debt service now consumes more than 70% of revenue, according to the finance ministry. Nigeria spent N2.34 trillion on debt servicing out of N3.25 trillion revenue generated in the country in 2020.
Consequences of High Debt Servicing The government’s increasing reliance on internal and external borrowing to finance its operations puts Nigeria’s future at risk. In 2023, debt service was expected to absorb somewhere between 80 and 100% of oil revenue. The cost of debt servicing had surpassed the government’s retained revenue, leaving it in a deficit.
Efforts to Reduce Dependency Efforts to reduce dependency on borrowing have led to a renewed drive to increase efficiency and revenue intake. The reinvention of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation as a “private venture” and the proposed five percent tax on mobile services, including voice calls, mobile data and text messages, are some of the moves to increase revenue.
In conclusion, Nigeria's dependence on crude oil and high debt servicing are significant issues that need to be addressed. The government's efforts to increase efficiency and revenue intake are steps in the right direction, but more needs to be done to reduce the country's reliance on oil revenue and borrowing.
and Tinubu wants to borrow money for coastal road project? Does it make any sense?
