OakPearl:
I have seen $4,000 wiped off my portfolio but am not moving an inch. Its less than the gains that have come in.
We have seen worse days in March 2020. It is no longer doom and gloom like it appeared the last time.
I will utilize this moment to cherry-pick those winners that will come down due to this present short term jitters.
This one is more of a shake-out and I refuse to be shaken out. grin

Health / Re: Help, I Want To Stop Drinking And Smoking Of Cigarettes by bumba1234: 1:27pm On Dec 01, 2016
Well..i will start with what worked for me...what i did was get involved in activities that will cut down on these excesses. You are not going stop all of a sudden but you will cut down and gradually stop. Register at a gym..or take long walks or jog..register for an exam..cut down on visiting your regular smoke or drinks spots. Change your bedsheets, pillow cases...drink a lot of water between, visit the dentist and clean your teeth. for a fresh start.

poster, how many years banking experience do you have, there are two thing u need to consider, are u willing to start from the scratch? doing a masters in petroleum engrg now which is not relevant to ur existing work experience is starting again and the odds that u will get a job with that degree without any experience is small, London South Bank University is not all that, think about it, u cud delve into petroleum marketing or sumtin related but giving up all dat experience to go pursue a masters i dont tink its a good idea in my opinion

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Chelsea FC Get New Manager: Porto's André Villas-Boas by bumba1234: 2:38pm On Jun 21, 2011
Chelsea target Andre Villas-Boas has tendered his resignation as Porto coach, the Portuguese club have said.

They made the announcement in a statement to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission.

Villas-Boas, 33, has been linked with Chelsea in recent days following the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti in May.

Porto insisted on Monday that Villas-Boas could leave if a rival club paid £13.2m to activate a release clause in his contract.

"FC Porto was today notified of the intention of Andre Villas-Boas to resign from his contract with the club by triggering the release clause immediately," read a Porto statement.

"The contract will be terminated once the required amount is paid."

The Lusa news agency had reported earlier on Tuesday that Villas-Boas would pay the £13.2m himself.

Villas-Boas guided Porto to a treble last season, winning both the league and league cup as well as the Europa League.

Porto ended last season unbeaten in the league, with 27 wins in 30 matches, becoming only the second Portuguese club to finish a league season unbeaten, after Benfica in 1972-73.

Academica were winless and bottom of the first division at the time but finished the season in 11th place.

They also reached a Portuguese League Cup semi-final before Villas-Boas left to take over at Porto in June 2010.

Villas-Boas, who speaks fluent English, also worked with Sir Bobby Robson during the former England manager's spell in charge of Porto.

Ancelotti was sacked by Chelsea following a season without any silverware, with the London club finishing runners-up to Manchester United in the Premier League.

Numerous candidates have been touted as possible replacements for the Italian, among them Turkey boss Guus Hiddink, Villas-Boas and former Fulham, Manchester City and Blackburn boss Mark Hughes.

there different sides to it, in as much as its a service to the nation, you should try and get relevance experience, as thiswill count when you finish the voluntary programme and you are looking for a job, in your job search also focus on organisations that retain corpers, you can try GTB, i served there and worked was retained and left when i wanted a fresh challenge, the MTN and Airtel of this world will pay you but you go back to the job market, its your choice to make, All the best,
