bbdd: I presume you're an undergraduate who wishes to attend medical or dental school. Summer classes aren't bad but the details you provided are sketchy at best. What is your current major? Why deficiencies do you think will count against you? You need to understand how admissions to medical schools work so you don't take classes you may not need. Do more research on requirements of medical and dental schools viz a viz your current major and first determine if you need extra classes.
If incidentally you need the classes, they have to be at your school so as to have a cohesive application. Needless to say, medical school is prohibitively expensive. Plan accordingly. Best wishes. Thanks for your response, yes I'm an undergraduate. My major is currently nursing and I know there are some courses that I would need to get into med or dental school which is not in my nursing curriculum. What I'm asking is if taking summer classes in my school or another school is in violation of my visa. Thanks |

Just concluded with orientation. Was kind of stressful. School resuming on sept 1.
Guys I have a question. Will it be possible for I as an f-1 student to take summer classes say for some prerequisites that I would use for dentistry or say medicine. And if I can, must it be done in the school I'm schooling in or can it be done in a university closer to me |

GboyegaD: If you activated it then, you shouldn't have issues with it. Have you tried calling their contact center? Meanwhile, how much are you trying to withdraw? I was trying to withdraw $20 cos my dad told me to test d card so dat if it worked, he would be paying in my pocket money from Nigeria so I can withdraw it here and pay into my American account. Well I guess I'll try calling them |

Goo day guys please I need help. I went with my gtbank MasterCard to an atm in a store and tried withdrawing but it kept telling me unauthorized access. Could it be because I never used the card in an atm in Nigeria cos once I collected it from d bank, I activated it and came over here.
Thanks guys. |

zeezahbee: Remember they have a monthly service charge but they can be avoided if you get direct deposit.
Check out like 3-4 banks around you and weigh your option
If you are less than 24, you could open a bank of america or chase bank without a service charge for 5 years even if you grad before the 5years.
Go to diff banks and See the one that suit you Yes I am currently 17. Does that mean that the service charge would be waived for me? And please what do you mean by a direct deposit? Thanks. |

HoneyBronzed: Anybody travelling with Lufthansa or Airfrance? What are the fares like? Are there cheaper airlines? My school is in DC but my POE will be JFK and I plan to leave for DC by bus or train the day after I arrive. Do I need to book my ticket from NY to DC here in nigeria? I plan to do that when I get to NY. Yes I'm going with airfrance its fare is affordable though not as cheap as some other airlines. My Poe is also JFK when will you be leaving? And then about the train/bus issue, you can always buy a bus/train ticket when you get to New York , you don't have to do that here. That's my opinion tho |
