No one is trying to bring deeper life down, at least not me....dat I left d church does not mean I don't appreciate a lot of tins in deeper life...in fact, till now, I can say the new church I attend now has neva been able to give me wat deeper life gave me...buh u see, a lot of things is rong with deepr life and dats d fact dat they are forgetting that the youths are actually the leaders of tommorrow...if they are all sent out simply becos they want to look good and smart modestly...wat future does the church have. I respect the GS a lot and God bless him buh I think he still has a lot to do...if not, the 'fanatical deeper life pastors'under him with cause an irreparable damage

bukatyne: I don't understand why some deeper lifers are trying so hard to explain away these pictures. I have read funny points like:

The groom might not be born again
The father might nt have approved
There are different standards of dressing etc.

We all know that other members will never be allowed to wear this. For those saying that they have different standard of dressing across board, does it mean some parishes are holier than others or is there classic and modern parishes? Most dl members have painted the picture that people dressed apart from their way is a sinner. So where is the talk of different standards coming from?

There is no need to explain anything. The couple have wedded the way they like. We pray these privileges is extended to all members so we stop seeing weddings like funeral ceremonies and couples looking like chief mourners.

Have you not read that the new couple are not an exception, and that it is common practice in the region where they wedded? You seem to care a lot about what deeper life wears abi your name is nobody, you obviously judge them by their appearance, yet you do not want them to judge you by your own appearance. Their have been other deeper life weddings 'bigger' and more extravagant than this, and i am a witness. Others have also said same. yes, they wore wedding gowns, and carried bouquets, and DRUMMED and danced like there was no tomorrow. Are you by any chance omniscient?

I don't get the problem with deeper life rily...d church would have been one of the most loved church around cos of their stand on holliness...and believe me or not people appreciate these teachings but they just tahe tins to the head...okay imagine dis...a family frd of mine got married earlier in d year, her mum is a choir in the church and she was getting married to a deeper life bro, she also attends the church...the only challenge been that her father attends a different church...the father insisted the wedding must take place in his church (which the lady herself loved and confided in me cos she didn't want the satin material wedding too)....to cut the story short, d church gave er an option of going to the registry which she gladly took...buh to my surprised, the mother and the couple were disciplined bcus she wore gown to the registry...not even the church...I mean, sum tins dnt jst make any sense!!!

Me I was raised up in a deeper life home o but e don tey now wey I commot on top dis their doctrine tins noni...infact, I got married 2months ago and my mom almost scattered my wedding cos I used make up and jewelleries...on top say my hubby no dey attend deeper life o...plus no b deeper life dey anchor the wedding o...her reason been dat all her church pastors go full the wedding...I dnt get, was I supposed to have made mysef sad on my wedding day becos of her pastors....infact, I tire for dem...**veryveryveryveryverylonghisssssssssssssssss**

Ogogambus: I will personally advise u based on d experience ave had in workforce exams to lay ur hand on 2007 Gmat.Study d charts and graphs there.If u ave written workforce exam before,try to recall d nature of the exam,dats what will reappear again,they don't really change questions.This is just an advice anyway,I didn't apply for firstbank job.I wrote first bank exam last year though i passed but was lucky to also pass GTB exam,and has chosen the later to the former.wish u d best
