Dear All, I'd like to ask that we please be a bit more responsible with our use of social media specifically regarding the 'Oga at the top matter'X_X it may have made for a good laugh in the beginning..but now its an overkill, with Tshirts, viral videos,pple following the man's children on twitter...these have now become a bit too heavy! His wife went to channels to protest his inability to sleep! Do we need a suicide case on our hands just for a few laughs?- pls let's 'keep it down!'..not to mention that we are further hurting our country's image when we go viral with these..Pls be sensitive. End it! I am deeply convinced within my spiri dat dis people must have been served a notice. I dnt see fashola as a governor who can go demolish buildings without a prior notice. I had been in a situation like this before. Wen an aunt of mine was stayin at kilo side of surulere, d house was properly structured and everybody cud seen d house is bcomin dangerous to live in cos d house was bent. Everybody in d house was served a notice like 6mnths b4 d house was demolished.....and as at d time wen d action was taken, sum occupants were stil there. She looked very spiritual. You know that pious look that a lot of 'us' like to carry. It was as though she was God's 2-I-C ( Second-in-command). I was happy because i thought to myself, "at least it means she'll be helpful." "Surely she had to be," i thought to myself. I was in for a shocker when i saw her rough-handle that sick man on the bed. The sick man who couldn't sit up to defend himself. The sick man whose life laid seemingly in her hands.

I rubbed my eyes because i was sure i hadn't seen things too clearly. "Ahn, ahn, Lara. It's not possible now;" i said to myself. I soon realised i hadn't imagined things when i saw her push him roughly one more time. The man lying helpless on the bed needed a medical examination of some sort that she was to administer.

As i watched from the line i stood on, waiting my turn to make a payment, i got a little bit scared and worried at the same time. This was LUTH- one of our nation's greatest centres for healthcare. This was where people travelled to from all over the country just to be cared for. This was where
human beings wearing white and blue and other colours that stood for different healthcare departments, suddenly became demi-gods in their own eyes, just because, for a fleeting moment in time, people needed their help and expertise in order to recover and return to their daily living.

She hissed and shouted and flung his arms when he wouldn't lay still like she needed him to. That poor, helpless man lying on the bed. He was too weak to move, but in his eyes was a plea. He was begging her with his eyes to be patient, but she didn't care. To her, he was just another encounter in a day's job, and she was a health official, government worker needing to move on to the next patient ready to give a fat enough tip.

This is beginning to look like a not too pleasant year for Nigerian Entertainers as we're still mourning the passing away of Goldie, another movie icon, Justus Esiri, has died.

www.nigeriafilms.com has just gathered that Dr. Sid is now bereft, reports coming in now has it that he lost his dad to diabetes caused by old age.

He was said to have passed on about an hour in a Lagos hospital.
