I just pray today should be a miracle sunday. It was on sunday last two week, we started receiving our call up no, I just pray the same should follow for the call up letter.

I will just be Optimistic about it... waiting till 2 o'clock, if I will get the message from NYSC.
But before then, I have to go to church N do my final posting prayers....

Train your child in the way of the Lord and when he/she grows he/she shall not depart.
Teaching/instilling self discipline and good moral behaviours when a child is born down to the adolescent stage can save a whole lot of indecency.

Aldoe the society has a whole lot too but training them well and making them realise the difference between good and bad so they do not follow the wrongs of the society

Peer also has its own influence bt also boils down to good moral behaviours and the way you train ur kids(knowing their friends,being attentive to their needs,providing listening ears,study their friends and know their parents and being very alert.)

We shouldn't leave only religious institutions to train our kids or instil morals in them coz even these institutions are headed by people like us who have different approaches to life and lately news we hear going on in these religious institutions is nothing to write home about.

Above all charity begins at home if every parents train their kids very well and to the extreme then negative peer influence or negative societal influence would be reduced.

More also we should remember that our kids look up to us and would practice what they see us do,so how can a child be decent in every ramifications when even their parents ain't decent.#ItStartsFromEveryoneOfUs.

Nice write up I must confess. This is a Simon that we need to preach on a daily basis but some parents are so negligent about teaching their children about morals.
As you have said, if the parents refuse to instill the right discipline on their children. They might learn it the wrong way from their peer.
Our society is going the wrong path and message like this will help bring up a better society.

My dear what school did you finish from? I am also a graduate from GEOLOGY. I finished from Uniben. I know getting job as a geologist is not easy but when you get one you re made for life... hope you re current with the recent recruitment? You just need to be updated in the oil and gas so you can have more chances...

You must be a student/graduate of OAU, Ile-Ife? That is the only school I know where "special electiive" (called GNS in other schools) don't add to one's CGPA, but you must pass 12 units before graduation.

it happen in UNIBEN tooo... I bought a book of 4k which is CED, that will not add to my GP...

guy this ur case make me laugh oooo... my belly wan burst... eee get one cap when I dae wear then as a fresher... those 200 naira cup... I use am blow guy for campus until when I enter year 2. I ever regretted wearing the cap... I thought they were hailing me then, I don't knw they were laughing @ me...

I hated half of my roomies, only cooked wen d room was empty. Never knew WHR the venue of classes held. Voted against one my close pals now from winning miss halls pageant den. Spent 10k within 5days on junk and swearing of numerous affidavit...cried during screening

Lol.........There was a particular scene I can never forget,one day I decided to really dress up and guess what,I wore a white sleeve turked in my blue jean a white belt and white sandals and I was bouncing like I own the place,even took picture,I noticed my course mates hailed me plenty that day,thinking abt it now,I think they were laughing at me.....Gosh its so embarassing.another episode was me always talking abt GST with my coursemate,talking at the top of my voice on the road,so everyone knows I "belong"I have arrived".....lol,I also had my final year engineering bf in my first year,I remember my brother very angry with me abt having a bf in 100l,and I was screaming "I love him"Leave me alone" it was a serious fall out but we ended up dating for 4years.....which wasn't so bad.

I feel and get what you are saying... that year, we just dress, for our mind our dressing make sense not knowing say na cast...
