For the second case, I doubt because surname is an important ingredient, when it differ from the one sent by your school, the person record will not be process. The person might not go for service.

There was a time NYSC send correction list to sch, why did he not check if his names were correctly spelled... anyway he should go N complain to his sch before ending of saturday.

what was the issue all about?

Information reaching me from NYSC Benin - City states that any PCMs that failed to do his\her online registration might end up not getting a call up letter and the implication of it, is that he\ she might not go for the batch C 2014. The board said that it was a compulsory exercise all PCMs would ve done in order for the agency to compare the online data with the one provided by the school.
The agency also said some couldn't get their call up no after the online registration is as a result of many factors which include inability of the school to send names of PCMS, wrong data provide by the individual during registration or the school among others...
They said they are working to resolve most of the issue or problems that can be handle by them at the shortest possible time...
NYSC giving false hope to PCMs since 1973...

am sorry to say but some graduates are just so ignorant, some need to go for a degree the second time... How will somebody tell me he\ she never knew online registration was going on for over three months... I just laugh when I hear such story because that is not an excuse somebody should give in this modern internet world.
Some will tell you they taught the registration is for those that want to pay the said amount, that is to say they never bother to read the instructions on NYSC online homepage... How will you be a PCM N you never launch into NYSC site for once to read about thing that might interest you?
Ignorant was just the main cause of some people problem and I pray they start seeking for information and knowledge from henceforth.

so sad... I guess you didn't join the house on time because we sighted it that all prospective corp members must do the online registration. It was even published in various newspapers and discussion programs on TV and radios.
Information is power I must say... When one is not inform, he become deformed... I wonder and was surprised that so many persons didn't do the online registration, that was on for almost 3months.
Anyway all hope is not lost till on monday. You might be lucky to see your name in the mobilization final list but the chances is slim.
Just keep hoping till Monday... Sorry abt it but next time seek for information, read newspapers or Listen to breakfast shows on TV. Information is power.

Is he really 30 or he made the mistake during registration? If he has clock 30, no level ooo but if it was a mistake, something can be done but need to be very fast abt it, Infact before night falls unless, he will automatically get an exemption letter.

I don't think there is any relationship... mine is 955, I don't think there is any state with such code. I ve checked my encyclopedia but I found no code of such...

Some people will just keep doing silly things! Why will you not register for an online registration that was on for almost 3months. Abeg nor vex ooo, you re not serious going for NYSC batch c 2014. There is nothing you can do... except you fast for 40days and 40 night... what ever kept you busy please keep doing it till nex year feb...

Pertaining my call up...... Well the processes that led to my mobilisation can be likened to an Orogeny. But finally I was mobilised........ The rocks have finally been emplaced and the tectonic imprints and signatures associated with the Orogenic cycle are inherent in the rocks.

Congratulations to the Youngest granitic corper. At last you over came the high temperature and pressure from the magmatic NYSC... I know Your mind is as cool and settle as a Lava.
I pray you are transported and deposited to a better place where you will explore your geologic potentials...

Yes, you have a very big hope. My friend had the same problem N went to complain to DSA today and he was told the issues has been rectified. So was told his name will follow the final list that will come on the 20th... so just believe your name will come with the final list...
Don't give up until it is over....

Simple... Just go with this batch and process redeployment when u get to camp! Don't try to cancel ur mobilization cuz it might not be an easy process to get remobilized next batch. Your call up number is programmed for this batch already. It won't work for next batch or any other batch!

don't make the mistake of trying to postponed your service. It has worked for some people I know but was not that easy...but it's possible.
What I will advise you is to relax and wait for ur call up no and when you get to camp, you simply remobilized to a state of ur choice. It will be alittle easier if you ve a medical report...if you can get a medical report, it will make the remobilization easier...

for engineering both state have enormous opportunities. But Akwa Ibom will be better... Delta state have more of petrochemical firm and companies so if you re re in within the category, it will benefit you but outside that, straight to Alka Ibom...
Just make a wise decision...

I also want to know how accessible it is.. and the nature of employment, etc..

in general, life style in Akwa Ibom is higher than Delta state but not in all cases... House rent is higher in delter state than Alkwa Ibom, transport in delta state is cheaper than Alkwa Ibom. The two state have opportunities for job seekers depending on your course of study... Akwa Ibom is environment friendly than delta state.
The fact is that, both state re cool but I will prefer delta because of my course of study...

I just tire for some people... Using their hands to cause problem for themselves... you didn't do the online but want to pay the 4k... I just laugh... some guyz are really funny...
Anyway there is still chances for him... I heard on a particular day when the DSC of NYSC was talking on NTA talking about those that didn't register...
But that person is not serious.... He has a chance only if this sch has sent his or her name to NYSC

There is big advantage of paying the 4k even though the amount is too Outrageous... I got my call up no with ease, started processing it since last week to a place of my choice and I will get my call up letter without stress... what a soft life that is expensive!... I know there re more benefits to come... They will also be the first set to get their call up letters....
