n - nativity play, a - anita baker show , i - indy car race track, r - rodeo show, a - alley, l - lounge, a - arcade, n - nine eleven, d - dating zone. it all goes to show that nairaland is one of those places where people can meet, fall in love and even marry. there are no hard and fast rules for these sort of things. even in the chaotic and jibe throwing sceenery of some sections coincidence or deliberate effort can bring two lives together and it all works out with all the hitches well in attendance, IT IS VERY VERY POSSIBLE |
i am no expert in the field but the little i know is that some fat cats in the nigerian beaurocracy must have been looking the other way while the oil majors just drill and add no value to the system. incase we dont know nigeria is actually a gas rich rather than oil rich nation. the gains of the gas reserves is just being skimmed by the lng project. common sence should have made it mandatory that since while drilling for oil will automatically yield billions of cubic litres of associated gas there should be a proviso of what plans with concrete time lines any coy that is interested has in the pipline. but no not in my country they just sign lopsided contracts. the oil coys get thier drill bits and heads into the ground , the oil flows and the abundant associated gas is flared wastefully. the amount of gas availlable can light up every house hold in west africa if harnessed properly. quote me. on the compulsion to build refineries as part of the drilling contracts it is just an attempt at ensuring tha value is added to the system. a proviso that contracts are tied to building of refineries is good so that employment opportunities are generated bringing trickle down effects on the econonmy. it will also stimulate competition in the down stream sector which will improve service and pricing at the end of the day. you would have thought this should have been on the front burner all these years while our legislators wine and dine but nada it is nigeria my dear country they have more pressing issues of national interest to attend to. somebody pls tell me my head is in the wrong place. |

he must have read the servicom contract to know the service he was expecting to get. he only complained, maybe not to the right quarters, that he didnt get it. its that simple. |

there no coal mines working at the moment. the ones that were have all been shut down a while ago, ressurecting them and having them fire power plants will take at least 5 years plus going by the so called breath of fresh air. if you ask me its just an anouncement to make it look like gej is working. we know better. |
as for me if the couple know as a fact that he has been firing blanks its my opinion that she should tell him what has happened. however she should do so after packing out of the house. it is possible he may swallow his pride and enjoy the fruit of what he couldnt achieve. it is hard pill to swallow though. i am discussing with an old flame that is married to a guy that is currently firing blanks. she is all packed to cross the atlantic and move on with her life. at least the hubby knows he is firing blanks and begging for an ivf to be done. you never know. |
i have met one on one with some friends ive made on nl. for the most part they have been good. those that i have met in real life and we are friends today we generally ignore ourselves on nl since we have like another life. those that are my friends outside here are as real as it can be. it took a while though to let go and let in and become real life friends. all in all theres only one that was not so good. dont even have the number again. |

I have heard of the new employee compensation act which from whay i hear should be in force from july 2011. Is there any one in the house that has a good knowledge of the details and how this is different from the repealed workmens compesation act. Please fill me in. |
breath of fresh air indeed, |
read every post on this topic and realised there is more than i know happening out there on radio. thats cos my radio is permanently tuned to brila in abuja, will listen to anything BIG ID fran idemudia alapa is doing on radio. he is smart and can cue in at any level. george essien has excellent diction and delivery on the news. O square is crazy and i sometimes have to listen with ear muffs. ama ignis is cool. ayo should be in a secondary school radio studio and his grammar and tences are very suspect. JOY is probably too excited being on air and wastes all her time trying to copy other presenters on the air wave with heavy nasal accent. but no one can beat brila as long as you are sportsnatic. the greatest was mark silviere 007 when he was at cool fm. now thats a great radio person. he flows and he is street wise current savvy a bit old fashioned but you know when you hear him that its his natural turf. as he told me that while in prison in the us he had a list brought to him about professions he could get busy with studying. he and his friend decided to choose what others did not choose. he chose broadcasting and his friend that chose boxing went on to become the world heavey weight champion. |
ok, the politics have started. the governor will use the next 4 years to carry out this statistics and then ask for another four to get the jobs. its an old trick. |
