Notice 20/09/2016: We’re now sending emails to all those who successfully completed the registration process. However, due to significant backlog of emails, it may take up to 24 hours for you to receive your activation notice email.

That notice has been there since the beginning of this recruitment exercise and the email they are talking about is just for account verification/activation before you proceed to fill out the application form

Going by civil service rule, a credit in Mathematics and English is a compulsory requirement for one to gain employment into the Federal Civil Service. But that shouldn't stop you from applying. i know a couple of persons that gained employment into the service without a Credit in English.

Hence, don't be discouraged.

They have stopped sending verification mails. Just go ahead and fill out the form for the position you're qualified.

No one lied. They were actually invited but the interview didn't hold. The new DG said she hasn't been Briefed, that the Interview will take place when she is properly briefed on what they have done so far
