I didn't really get to know my dad so well early enough because he was always away on job transfer so I grew up knowing my mom and siblings. And when my dad finally retired he was home but we didn't want to know him again because we were older... He almost missed out on our childhood. But when I got admission, went to school and came back for holiday I decided to know this man called my dad intimately. With my newly acquired communication skill, i engaged him in a discussion and he was happy to finally have a connection with 1 of his child. After the discussion that night as I was about to leave he called me and told me "thank you"....
I almost cried that night. Since then he made sure he supported me emotionally, financially and spiritually and before he died he was crying that everyone would abandon me after his death and hell yes they did. Whenever I think of his sacrifices I'm always moved to tears.... Rest in peace Dad.

Oh I'm sorry. I joined RSS in 2010 after junior secondary school at Methodist Comprehensive High School so, I wasn't around when he was senior prefect.

Wow.... I graduated in 2013 from RSS. At the time Mr. Sotunde was our principal and his reforms made me a better person today. I guess I'm the only one here that graduated recently....

As expected, the students of UNN (Nsukka and Enugu Campus) have started a peaceful protest to express their anger at the school authorities.

In a video, students can be heard chanting "Yahoo VC, we no dey pay shi shi" as they marched to the VC's office at the Nsukka campus.

Meanwhile, after thorough investigation to confirm the school fees hike, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Enugu chapter, have given the school management an ultimatum of 3days to reverse the fees or expect a visitation from the association. They said it a "promise" and not a "threat"...

Something they will list what the total amount is for but when you add them up it won't be up to the total amount.

The authorities of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka(UNN) today released a new school fees structure that cuts across all levels In the university. This came after a closed door meeting of the school authorities and the SUG of both campuses yesterday. While this is a means to catch up with the current economic downturn of the country, the students have expressed their distaste and refusal to be intimidated and coersed into daylight robbery and extortion.

Meanwhile, the speaker of the Students legislative arm of the SUG have advised students to stay calm as they are working to see that the new development is in the interest of students.

Below are the New School fees structure for students.

Faculties of social sciences, VTE, Agriculture sciences, Education and Arts will now pay #110,000(1st years) #85,000(other years) #83,000(final years)

Faculties of business administration and Environmental science will now pay #114,000, #85,000, #83,000

Faculties of physical sciences and biological sciences will now pay #112,000, #85,000, #83,000

Faculty of Engineering will now pay #116,000

Yes ooo... His friend was kidnapped while he was shot dead by bandits. This happened at fourconers, Enugu. Though I don't know him personally but i was pained because I am a subscriber to his channel and he puts out good contents.

Miss Valentina Ebisike who emerged as the overall best graduating student in the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Nigeria (UNN) has been awarded N50,000 by the university.

The presentation of the award was done during the induction and swearing-in ceremony of the 2021graduating class in the university’s college of medicine at Ituku-Ozalla, Enugu on Thursday, where the dean, the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Felix Chukwuneke said the cash award was to motivate and encourage academic excellence amongst students.

He added that the academic excellence achieved by Miss Valentina Ebisike should be applauded by all lovers of excellence, hard work, and diligence, adding that with the award, the institution hopes to inspire other students to make excellence their primary objective as they go through the university.

He also added that some of the graduates with a good academic performances would also be considered for direct employment which has been in existence in the faculty.

Also, during his speech, he urged the graduands to make the care and health of patients their primary concern and practice medicine safely and effectively by being well informed about their patients before making decisions or taking actions that may affect them.
