Good morning All,

My experience learning French was that I improved quickly in two ways:

- one on one speaking, online with a native speaker, I was referred through Alliance Francais. If you have the funds for that they are usually reasonable and you will make rapid improvement. Two hours a week for 6 months and you will feel close to fluent, helps your confidence a lot.

- reading French books. Often overlooked by learners, there are second hand books stores in Lagos for sure that I know that have French books, start simple and work up. Good thing about reading is that you can have the dictionary by your side and many French words are similar to English.

After reading and processing all the information on this thread, I decided to start the process for my international passport this month.

I base in Lagos but due to all what I heard about Lagos centers, I decided to choose Abeokuta immigration office and I won't lie am glad I did.

I finished capturing on Friday (10/11/2023), and awaiting the passport collection.

Note: all is strictly DIY, and I'll drop the full update after I physically collect my passport. Till then, anticipate.

If you're good in physics or study any Engineering courses, then you're good to go.
A week course in Automation could cost close to half a million naira. You could search online for where to attend such. Some of the trainers have never practised on the field, just dishing out theories.
I have been on this field for over 15 year with hand-on-the-job and had worked with a lot of Expatriates across the globe. Sometimes ago, I decided to train more youths on this field and mentor them to become Automation Engineers but only to realize according to Mr President that Nigerian youths are lazy. Then, I backed out having satisfied my conscience.

Eyah, all these low level scammers.
They will ask for your pin, details, Security, card number. They'll now send you a code to your phone number and ask you to send them the code back. Once you do that, your money is gone.

There was a time almost everyday they were sending me a message on WhatsApp and me, I was catching cruise with them. If they ask for code, I'll give them 4199.

Always ensure not to give out your sensitive details like your ATM card pin or details or else you'll be ripped!!

Have doubled learned, unlearn and relearn today only.
