Why do you insist of blaming the system? The failure you see is the workings of a group. Condemning this group even if you are one of them will be a good start, and we can all build a better equitable nation. In the event of a breakup in Nigeria there will be no war as far as the s/w,s/s,s/e,n/c is concerned the only resistance and war will come from the rest who don t want this regardless of what the say here. The crisis in jos started in the early 90's about 20yrs ago and not 10 as u wish to lead us to believe, you see this was when the Hausa/fulani started to loose their hold on the state. There is only a limit to what governt can do. Govt had declared a state of emergency in Jos in 2001 but this did not put a stop to the murderers on thier wicked spree cos their desires are not yet manifested (If you cant have it spoil it).
Providing Justice for the Hausa in Plateau means to give them authority over the indigenes, and this is not acceptable to the indigenes who want the right to self determination, and will resist this move by all means.
Nobody will lay back and just get screwed ,not even you. Govt cannot force the owners of plateau to play second fiddle or share their fiddle with Igbo, yoruba or Hausa for that matter. Let the fate of plateau state be determined by the Indigenes of the state.

Last week when 18 women and babies where killed in a local governmt in Jos the Pollice commissioner Abdul, issued a statement that the killing of these babies and women was in retaliation for the theft of 100cows. How can you think that people who equate human life with cows are reasonable and justice serving? The present govt has inherited a bad, biased security strcture which they must reform if peace and justice is to be enforced. Rember that the security personel deployed to maintain peace also kill babies and women when nobody is watching.
We must make do with the much we can get if complete peace cannot be retored in Jos due to security lapses. The process of daily living must be encouraged until such a time normalcy can be enforced. The electorate must get their shot at self determination. You dont think that the disgruntled Hausa/fulani will allow plateau state An atmosphere that is conducive for registration, normal business activities and life if it will give the Plateau indigene a chance to selve determination do u? 14 Christians have been shot dead in yet another attack on plateau state residents. Following the killing of over 70 mainly Igbo people last Sunday the killing of non-muslims continued yesterday with the fatal shooting of 14 people in Riyom plateau state. The assailants who wore the military uniform and carried and fired military issue fire arms. Reports have it that the assailants are Hausa/Muslim soldiers that are furthering the Hausa agenda.
Other residents of plateau state have since called for the withdrawal of the security operatives claiming that they are responsible for more than half the death toll since the wake of the Jos crisis. However the Hausa/Muslim residents have insisted that the security operative should remain on the plateau and continue to enforce and sustain the peace on the plateau.

A plateau resident and indigene proposed that “it is time for GEJ to invite the US to come into Nigeria” and help us to resist the Hausa/Fulani intimidation and onslaught arguing that the Armed forces as constituted in Nigeria is not representative of the federal character and thus a tool for the advancement of a sectional interest. We need help he emphasized
“Even if it means that the ND will give the oil it shares with the rest of us north to the US to help us”.

If I like what you do even if you don’t like me and you came to see me not to fight or as a critic of my work, but you to come to proffer and give ideas, I am sure that can encourage you by giving you money moreso that you are an NGO. Those asking for Buhari should look at his qualties as shown below and tell us if he is the right man to lead a democratically elected government.

1. He is a man who believes in the bullying and enforcing his way. A gentleman man military person will only criticize a bad government and never use the gun placed in his hand by the country to seize power from a democratically elected governemt NPN rather than wait for the nxt eletion year to make a positive chnge. I say he was looking for an excuse to seize power all the while ad saw it in 1983 and now he want another shot at their birth right. The military is not the only carrer in Nigeria even the civil service is a career except duties and kitting all are national service and nobody has a right to chance the other. This man has shown that he does not respect democracy and so can never make a good democratic leadr.

2.True men of integrity and principle The likes of Chinua Achebe will not even accept awrds from democratic governments found wanting by his standards but BUhari accepted a position within the criminal tyrannical dictatorship government of abacha. The is no moral beacon in this man he is just a soldier of fortune.

3. Buhari does not respect the right of every Nigerian to freedom of worship or the integrity of Nigeria as a circular state as he initiated the membership of Nigeria in the organisation of islamic countries. He waas a strong advocate of sharia law during the OBJ regime.

4. Buhari is an ethno biased individual. During his coup in 1983 he placed Shagari a fellow northerner under luxurious house arrest and sent Ekwueme (a known innocent nd upright man)to Kirikiri maximum secrity prison for months.

No man with principle or integrity will accept service under a tyrannical dictatorship such as the government as imposed by Abacha but as we know he accepted PTF leadership. Buhari is not the right man by a mile.

What do we need?
We need a person who will restore the dignity of our citizens and nation with out bias. A person who will reform the military just as the north reformed the civil service to reflect federal character and equity.
