The reality is that in Africa we actually live our lives to please people that do not matter and in most cases entities that may not exist. We believe what we are told and disregard empiricism( looking around our society and understanding what works for us and how life works in general). The Op in a developed society would ask "How do I control my libido?" or " How do I live a healthy sexual life devoid of over indulgence in sex?"

Biology is actually older than religion . The former dates back to more than a million years and the latter is just 6000 years old. The point I'm trying to make here is that your body is older than religion because living things produce their kind and your first kind predates religion . Apart from the above, you are not born with religion but you are born into religion and therefore your religion is a product of the background of your upbringing. That is why a christian baby adopted by Moslem couples will grow up a Moslem no matter what Church claimed that the Christian God made the biological mother of the Child pregnant . These scenarios may buttress my point.

1. Humans are born with hair on their heads but Deeper Life Church prevents men from keeping long hair because it is evil.
If a god did not want men to keep long hair why did he give them long hair?
2. A Male Human is born with foreskin on his penis but if he circumcises he becomes God's own.
If a god did not want a man to keep his penis foreskin why give the man the foreskin?

3. If Jehovah Witnesses do not marry outside their faith because Jehovah isn't pleased why does Jehovah not prevent their women from getting pregnant when they have sexual intercourse outside wedlock?

4.Man was born with libido and sexual urge but if he exercises it out of marriage he is doomed.
Why does the doom not come instantly ? Why is the man not dead, mad or the issue gotten from such intercourse disabled or still at birth?

There is only one answer to the above questions and it is that no God ever made those rules, those rules were made by men to mentally enslave people. A religiously dogmatic person will prefer " You will rot in hell if you keep long hair" to "long hair will make you look like a female" or " long hair without regular care is not hygienic". A religious extremist will prefer " you will rot in hell if you have sex without getting married" to " you may have problem with paternal identity, sexually transmitted diseases and problems of raising a family if pregnancy occurs when you do not have a regulated partner." Inter faith marriage and circumcision are just to preserve identity like the Yoruba tribal marks but to enforce strict compliance it must be labelled "God's will".

Now let's do this. I'll name 2 greatest of all times who are currently in the top 5 of their respective professions who had sex without being married.

1. Jeff Bezos- Surprisingly he surpassed Bill Gates to become the richest man in the world during the period he engaged in extra marital affairs with a married Journalist.

He owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp where religious fanatics broadcast that sex before marriage brings damnation.

1.Lionel Messi- Had 2 kids before getting married.
2. Christiano Ronaldo- I don't need to talk about him.

Boxers:
1.Floyd Mayweather- Has a lot of children out of wedlock.
2.Anthony Joshua- Has a son with a Yoga trainer.

Most Powerful women in the world:
1.Oprah Winfrey- Had sexual relationships and even a child as an under 18. Once richest black woman and currently mentioned as the most powerful black woman in the world .
2. Meghan Merkel - I do not need to talk about the past of the most talked about royal family member in the United Kingdom.

Presidents of the United States of America:
1. Bill Clinton: Had a sexual relationship a staff in the oval office.
2. Donald Trump - I do not need to talk about him. He has even been linked to a porn actress.

I do not need to mention " The Clergy" because they will always hide their lifestyles to prove what they preach.
I mixed this reply with religion and society because the only reason a person can ask this question is if he is afraid of some kind of misery that may come as a result of sex.

Food , water , sleep and sex are needs that every human being and animal craves for. Even lower animals find a way to get Food , water , sleep and sex when they have urge to get those. But for higher animals, human beings ,it goes this way:

(All humans)Urge for food - Get something healthy to eat.

(All humans) Urge for water - Get something (liquid) clean and healthy to drink.

(All humans) Urge for Sleep - Find somewhere calm , peaceful and less noisy to sleep.

(All humans) Urge for sex - Different opinions

(Rational humans) Urge for Sex - Relieve yourself from stress and enjoy protected sex (including safe masturbation) with medically accepted practices.

(Irrational Humans) Urge for sex - Read an ancient book, don't look at women again, go and make money, think about what others have achieved.

Singing hymns , bible reading and fasting can also make one avoid food (fasting) , water (dry fasting) and sleep(vigil/ tarry night) for even a week if one is willing but never cures the urge to enjoy those naturals. One will still enjoy them later and when he does he will crave those in extreme. Asking how to desist from satisfying a natural urge is a self imposed ignorance and you alone can free yourself.

The only remedy for sexual urge is sex.

When ever the urge comes as a Christian, change your immediate environment because definitely it's something around there that brings out the stimulation. Pick up your Bible or hymn book or better still play a deep rooted gospel songs on your phone and set my mind on the heavenly race.

Trust me, it works better than any other remedy

Those GNLD and the like have cause so much pain and loss of money to aspiring employee...sometimes, even death.

They mislead people from far and wide...I have met people that traveled down from Abuja for a supposedly genuine job interview.

Chai! During job hunt, I remember attending one of the unfortunate 'interviews' where police had to be invited to arrest the set of scammers...got my transport fare back too!

When I look back sometimes, I just say "thank you Lord" for the experiences and for where he is taking me.
