Nozzle: My brother...i just cant understand why they would make such an error. I noticed that my ADR in my profile stated ' we would require additional documents to review your application' its been like that for 3 weeks after i added my daughter to my application. I sent them a mail to complain about that part of my profile. if i added my child and all documents are well received, should ADR still be active, all things being equal? they replied that they do not require any additional document from me. Only for me to see that my application self get comma through GCMS Notes! if this is what they do to ppl....it's really bad, i can immagine how frustrated alot of ppl would have been with this their document-verifying process. I understand how you feel. It's a mistake from the VO. Send them a CSE with your updated POFs and I'm sure you do not have any issue with your POF. Just to be on the safe side. |

Thetherapist: A quick question please. Especially to those who got PR while pregnant. How did you scale through medicals while pregnant knowing fully well that radiological findings is part of the medical test. Or you got pregnant after medicals? @vcole and others. Abeg help me torchlight this. Thanks All you need to do is tell the doctor that you are pregnant during the medical. That's what we did and we passed medical. |

amoese: My IELTS score LSWR 8.5,7.5,6.0,8.0. I am so down right now, I can't believe BC messed up my result. If there was any subject i was concerned about was my speaking and not writing. Based on testimonies of some people in the group I have decided to go to their office on Monday to apply for a remark on my writing. Please do that. |

Saintp: Please I have a question that nobody has answered. Is it wrong to create two profiles for a family. That is I create my own profile for the family and my wife creates her own for the family. If we both get ITA, we use one. I'm thinking about this because it will be easier for me to get supporting documents than my wife. However my CRS is lower than my wife due to age. So if we both create profiles and we both get ITA, I'll prefer we use my profile. I'll only want us to use her profile if I didn't ITA because it will be more difficult to get her documents. Is this my plan okay? It's not wrong. Whoever gets ITA first becomes the principal applicant. |

Why does applications for PR through PNP route take such a long time. I was worried that since August 28, there has been no update on my application, not even medical, until I checked on myimmitracker.com and saw that while direct ITAs are progressing swiftly, their counterparts from PNP are crawling. Can somebody please help me explain the rationale? |

Diaaaana: Thanks Calfy His score was CRS 410, his IELTS was L 8.5, R 8.5, S 7.5 and W7. Mine was L8, R7, S7 and W 6.5 He's 37 and I'm 33. He's an engineer and works with an oil company with 10 years experience. I run my own business. Non of us have a masters degree.
Any help will be appreciated. Please go for remarking of your writing only if your result is less than 30 days. You are most likely going to get 7. Otherwise, re-write IELTS and aim for L - 8 or higher, R - 7 or higher, S - 7 or higher, W - 7 or higher. This way you will be good as the principal applicant. If you can make 7.5 or higher in speaking, that will be great. I said speaking because I'm sure if you have done 7 in speaking, you can do 7.5 with a little more effort. The secret in speaking is to ensure you exhaust the 2 minutes. You should also try to paraphrase the words and not to repeat ideas. Good luck. I was in the same boat as you guys but Ontario came calling. |

belushi7: Good day all.
WES received response on verification from Unilag on Monday 11/9/2017. They still went ahead to state the evaluation will be due for completion on 29/9/2017. This is after receiving transcripts and certificates since mid August. Question is, does it take that long for WES to complete ECA after receiving response to their verification from schools? That's like another 18days. You will most likely receive your ECA (electronic copy) in the next 7 days from date of school verification. |

threadstone: The processing time is 20 days after receipt of all documents/verification. Expect it a day or two before. You will most likely receive your ECA in the next 7 days from date of school verification. |

Diaaaana: Hello, My husband and I have tried to get into Canada through the FSW program (he has a good job), but our CRP points never make it through the cut off point. Someone is trying to convince us to get a Canadian tourist visa, get into Canada and work out PR from the inside. Personally it sounds risky to me. Does anyone know someone who has done this before? Is this possible Thanks in advance. This suggestion by somebody is a no-no. It will land you in trouble waters. What's your (or your husband's) CRS score? What is your age and that of your husband and what are your IELTS scores? With these information, I will be able to advise. But, going to Canada on visiting or tourist visa and going against the provisions of such visa may lead you to indefinite ban. Be wise and follow the right channel. |

Seun1216: Hey people, I didn't do well in ielts. LRSW 5,4.5,7,6 (overall 6). However, hubby as the PA has 8 in listening which brings our score to 461. Is there any need for me to write the test again and hope it won't affect us?
Anybody with similar experience in the house? No, there is no need. You got the minimum IELTS score for your blue passport after three years of residency in Canada and the PA's score is enough to get you guys ITA. |

incredibledude: I used an immigration agent(canreach) for my express entry profile. That was prior to getting to know about this forum. They really made me believe that they would provide the best support. Mehn its all fake just to get one to pay them money. I had to literally chase them to create the profile. Now I dont even know if the details they entered is accurate because they didnt give me the login details. The only time they kept calling was when I was yet to pay them their $1500 consultancy fee.
Please I need some candid advise and opinions on the steps to take. I think it is better to handle the whole process myself. Those immigration agents are more about the money they would make. Create a profile for yourself and manage it. Don't worry about them and the profile they created for you. Write them afterwards to let them know you will no longer be needing their services. |

Pls help I think you can use another person's card to pay for your ECA. I don't know for ICES, but with WES, I know so many people who have used other's card to pay for their ECA. |

Osemigho: Be clear, Scholarship from which organization?
IMO, Scholarship(s) from reputable organizations like Canadian universities, MasterCard, IRDC, etc will always scale through if the applicant clearly indicate and emphasize 'Full scholarship' as fund source.
Also, applicant will need to submit account preferably above #500k with the scholarship but should not say it is part of fund for schooling.
What I see lately about rejected fully funded applicants is that they use another sponsor alongside their scholarship, thereby putting themselves through the fund scrutinization like non-funded scholars. I am still praying for a friend to scale through this.
It shall end with praises. Just to add to what you already said, a student on full funding is expected to be able to take care of him/herself in the beginning, for at least one month. It's always assumed that monthly stipends won't start to come until the end of the first month, unless the student shows that the organization would start to take of his living expenses from the first day of school. There are only a few organizations that do that. I know of Total and shell funding for students in the geoscience category. Even with this, most students resume earlier than the first day of school and will have to take care of the cost for the few days to the beginning of school. Just to save oneself from these hassles, any student on full funding should at least show NGN500,000.00 in his account. |

Beyy: My story is a long one but ill summer it
1st application was made in October 2016. I was denied based on purpose of visit, current employment situation, travel history and personal and financial asset 2nd application was made in january and was denied in march for insufficient funds, travel history and family tie in canada and country of residence.
I ordered for my gcms note for tge 2nd application and the vo said most of the funds I showed were in form of asset and not easily accessible.
3rd application was made on the 5th of June, my status didn't change, I had an opportunity to go to uk on a scholarship and I sent a withdrawal of application mail to cic on the 14th of August. On the 15th of August cic requested for additional docs ie proof of prepayment of tuition...though I attached my tuition fee receipt in my application so I was wondering why they still asked for it. I however sent it to them. On the 16th of August, Accra sent a mail on the 16th in reply to my withdrawal request that a decision has been made on my application. I checked my account immediately nd saw nothing. Checked again on the 17th and even earlier today and saw nothing until around 6pm , my account was updated and it was an approval.
God is really faithful. He has given me the best birthday gift ever cos today is my birthday!!!!!
Only Jesus can do it ooooo...it can only be God cos my application was actually forgotten
Success to all TRV hopefuls. Cheers Congrats! Please can you give me the format of the withdrawal mail and the address you sent it to? I want to withdraw my study permit application and focus on my PR application since they haven't answered me yet. My profile was updated to review of eligibility yesterday and since classes are starting September 5, I wonder if everything will click in time. My best bet now is to focus on and submit my PR application. |
