CallofDuty: Be Strong Man @EFe42 ...Learn to move on to better things Ahead!!!..Dont give up..lemme share my little story..I was among the last set of applicants from over 8k that made it to Flour Mills of Nigeria GT interview after our milling tour AC..to cut the story short, I did not make it..they put me in one stupid list called waiting list..I almost cried myself to death.i couldnt eat or drink or sleep,I was so restless, i became so lean and angry..But all that is allowed..i even went back to beg for volunteership(free training and dont pay me a dime-u can imagine), sent messages to the Head HR on linkedin telling him how they dropped the best candidate, what makes me the best fit coupled with my exceptional acadenic achievements and how i can solve problems for them bla bla bla bla..They resumed in April 2017..and the funny part was that I even dreamt of waking up each morning rushing to work in that mill <Chai>..The whole thing was a terrible experience;wasted efforts, resources, and interview jacking..the whole organisation is still at my finger tips till today even the sunti and kaboji farms they have in niger state< their PIILOT core values and so many others but to mention a few(to tell you how well i jacked). But today, after nailing another set of a tough and rigorous recruitment process (5 stages),ie 4 months later, I am now in an international parent company to Crown Flour Mills of Nigeria and trust me the pay is even far far better than that of FMN.My GT will last just 11 months before confirmations into the Mgt Cadre while that of FMN is 18 solid months..if i had got FMN ..i will not have gotten this one @CFM.. ..and Today, when I look back,i just laugh and smile and thank God I didnt get FMN..And please..the two jobs was strictly on merit..there was nothing like IM or nepotism..so dont give up man..count it all as blessing and move ahead..Be strong and be the best you can be ans with prayers, one day..you go hit am..Dont forget that hard work and tenacity pays!!! And now close to 10 years later..2026/27..I now work in Nigeria’s foremost oil & gas company….Wow!!! Someone liked this post and I was notified..it’s been God ooo..it’s been almost 10years omo..We thank God for Growth..Never Lose Hope..DO NOT GIVE UP..Be Tenacious!!! Be Audacious!!!… |

That’s why whenever I fly economy especially on international routes…I make it a point to board early… I like to secure the seat I personally checked in for and ensure I put my carry on luggage in the overhead cabin space available before it gets filled up. Sadly, experiences like this can be quite disappointing. It’s even more unfortunate when such behavior comes from an elderly person…Nigerians Shaa!!! |

francisjuan08: Please someone should help @callofduty what is the recruitment of FMN like ? was recently asked to submit my documents and I was sent some forms to fill including guarantor's Form and send back after two interviews for experienced role , but up till this moment no response .Hope FMN don't ghost? because it is over two weeks now Wow… almost 10 years post-graduation already? Omo, life really is what happens while you’re busy making other plans! @Francis, don’t worry too much, FMN has a strong reputation as an equal opportunity employer. My little advice: reach out to people currently in similar roles on LinkedIn. The platform is literally a professional community on its own, and more often than not, people are willing to share tips especially when it comes to those sometimes confusing post interview documentation steps. Chai… I still remember my FMCG job hunting days like yesterday (the wait, the suspense , and of course, the tension ). But we thank God for where we are now, for the professional growth, for the lessons, the resilience, and for how far we’ve all come. |

In very simple terms; "Zenith Bank will stop using special help from the Big Boss Bank (CBN) by June 30.”
Imagine Zenith Bank is a kid riding a bike with training wheels. Those training wheels (called ‘regulatory forbearance’) were put on by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to help the bank not fall. By June 30, Zenith Bank will take off those training wheels and ride the bike all by itself without extra help. |

@Alexgray : my own experience was with Nissan Quest..I bought for my mum...instead of buying sinenna then for 2.5, I bought the quest for 1.8...a move I keep regretting..first it's started Entering "SLIP" move..once in that mode..it can't move..then a lot of sensor issues..Geez..My mum did not enjoy that car for one day..it was from one mechanic to another..every day I got calls from her introducing me to new mechanic that will do it once and for all.they scan the car tire..dem chop me dry...after all the stress and resources wasted...we sold it for 800k.. added money and bought a 2002 Sienna....since then..even God Rested..cos dem turn fixing of car to prayer point.. |

okito: I think people should be made to understand the business decisions Shell is making. A case in point is one OPL 2007 hitherto operated by Total but was given up by them and Conoil Producing got this asset as a PSC block and converted to OML 150 after fulfilling contractual obligations. Even ExxonMobil has divested their 4 shallow offshore assets in Eket area where Seplat seems to have picked up the juiciest of them all. about today in any case. What about Agip (NAOC) Onshore Assets...Any update about them? |
