That's because we don't have or don't control the means of production . it is good to have the degrees and other scholastic achievements, but where are the industries to employ our jobless people ? Where is the entrepreneurial spirit? As far I'm concerned we are only dishing money go American education system....

They should worry about their indebted and failed countries ? We are only following the course of the nature....after slaughtering US like salah rams during slavery and colonization ,they are now waging biological warfare on us yet we shouldnt reproduce? Our continent riches and wealth must exploited by aryans and arabs crusaders ......a continent where countries 5 times the size of France or italy dont even have the 1/5 of their population ? Give US break ...nesides even if we lack the technological know how in some fields..who will prevent US from storming Europe America and asia to get that knowledge ..the same ways centuries ago they invaded US to steal our redources and technologies... History repeating itself ....

Do you even know how Kenya ended up fighting in Somalia after decades of non-interference with Somalis problems? Obviously you don't. Do you even know that Kenya meddling in Somali was against US and Britain's advice? Kenya went there as a last resort, after 20years of lobbying the intentional community to intervene in Somalia since it was affecting her neighbors. From your comments here, you seem like you are Cameroonian.... Dint Cameroon just join the bokoharam fight? So it makes you a puppet too I guess. And just FYI, Obama visited Kenya, After the charges were dropped against the Kenyan president......

Dropped why? According to you?

Dont be naïve ,when where the first suicide bomb attacks in Kenya ? Unfortunately you have the wrong information, Kenya started operating in somalia after America pledged support to your trooops ,a support that is yet to come ....the same thing happened to Ethiopia . you are vert naïve to think Kenya can involve herself in such opération without being backed up or should i say pushed by America... Do you manufacture weapons? How according to you were you going tp manage such war efforts ? And how come jour military officials are complaining of the lack of support ftom America ?

People should not b quick to condemn the news , the fact is ,it is very difficult for an administration to b killing her own citizens, without looking for means to eradicate the insurgency in a more peaceful manner, after all states économies and infrastructures are being destroyed ,people are being displaced etc ...however buhari and his tram shouldnt be naïve they must first go back at the roots of the problem , which can b resumed in few questions : what were they fighting for and who were funding them etc ...the answers to those questions will show boko thugs real willingness to move on. As far im concerned boko haram is america-france baby in order to bully china out of the gulf of guinea /west central africa this is therefore a geostrategical war religion is just a trojan horse as muslims are hot heads in that regard No Amnesty should b signed instead the NFG should unleash a counter offensive covering all aspects of muslims life (what they preach in their mosques ,who preaches what , how to root out dangerous éléments etc)

People who still talk of presidents being puppets for the west is so stupid. I mean even common sense in rare these days, France bieng a puppet for the US? are you kidding me! One of the big 5 countries that has veto powers alowig itself to be subjugated by another power?
so Nigeria and Kenya are puppets just because they have terrorism? So how is Kenya a puppet?

Fighting proxies wars for another country is being a puppet for that country ....same with Uganda and Rwanda ..+ the above countries heavily depends on America and their respective leaders where either trained/educated in America or had connected with various American/british embassies. .....do you think Obama would visit a president under icc threat if there was no collusion of interests? America with her pretence?

The Americans no longer even try to hide the fact that Buhari is their puppet. Although Bokoharam smacks strongly of French and Saudi support, it is increasingly difficult not see US signature.

You are yet to see anything, tho you are coming to your sense ....your present and past leaders have always been Western puppets.... Btw France is America's dog so the real thug is America... Boko haram was created with the approval of nigerian authorities ....your country has always worked for western interests and im not suprised when you are constantly cheering up kenya which is another america puppet ..as you are unable to see further than your nose....thnk you tho for toning down on your senseless conspiracies theories against Cameroon .

France & USA bullying out Chad out of the fight against boko haram, believe it or not Buhari is a CIA agent at the sold of neo colonialists and imperialists led banditry. It was no shocker that him & obomber got the campaign manager. Chad should brace up for more deadly attacks.

Sometimes the federal government needs to step up and attempt to resuscitate the economy. Bailouts aren't anything new, more advance societies have used them and will continue to use them in this volatile economic world. U.S feds bailed out major financial, manufacturing and insurance companies after the 2008 recession. China also pumped billions of dollars into its economy during the same period and is even doing so right now as it's economy is crashing. These are last minute attempts to revive the economy. In as much as it comes at the expense of every other tax payer, the result of not bailing out states like Osun can be dire and will affect the nation's economy as a whole.

I do agree that there should be more thought applied into bailing out defunct states governed poorly by mismanagement. And Nigeria as a whole needs a well defined economic stimulus plan like most advanced countries instead of this patching-tire-economics being displayed.
. That's exactly the point , in the country mentioned they are bailing economic structures, companies etc, while in Nigeria we are bailing states and LG, which doesn't make sense as no rules were not put in place for this to not happen again,so we are basically creating a culture of unaccountability, laziness. What exactly are we bailing out ? Or maybe I should say who? Mismanagement of funds? Looters? Your guess is as good as mine. BTW the USA is not bailing out Detroit

Following the death of Lucky Dube and the conviction of the assassins, Zulu males might have thought it wise to be discreet in their operations to avoid jail time. Moreover, this assassination occurred not in the midst and time of the xenophobic killings that occurred 2 months ago, but is a discreet case on its own, liable to conviction if the assassins are caught.

Loal Bigfrancis you are starting to sound like a robot, what did the Zulu do to you? Zulu are a great clan, you that love history should know it more than anyone .

Btw are you saying that there more successful Nigerians than Zulu in SA? Come on man, don't judge a whole ethnic nation because of what some did, besides I see you all badmouthing Zulu, I hope you guys are not forgetting the 2008 xenophobic attacks, which spread all over the country and involved all their ethnicities..now people are acting like Zulu created xenophobia in SA.

South african black males murdered their own Lucky Dube simply because they thought he was Nigerian. A clear example of profiling someone because he is Nigerian. Those Zulu males know no peace in their hearts. They kill and rape with ease without conscience. Killing and death is nothing to them. They would rather have successful white immigrants do well in their countries than a fellow successful black man. Many blacks exhibit this mentality called the crab mentality. Throw in a couple of crabs in a bucket, the moment one tries to get out, you see the other crabs rush to pull it back in. Rather than some blacks see their fellow blacks succeed, they would rather pull you down to their level of poverty, hatred and never-do-well.

The assassin of Onyekaozulu is most likely a Zulu. There is high chances of that. Zulus have proven themselves murder-prone with the spate of killings that took place in South Africa barely 2 months ago where they murdered innocent black foreign men and women living in South Africa simply because they chose to be hardworking and successful.
when you compare the xenophobic attacks with this one do they look the same? Since when SA hide their xenophobia? When then they didn't destroy his business? Deep inside you, you know his murder has nothing to do with xenophobia.

Whatever! But, they weren't Nigerians blamed for the death of the Zulu music star. How can you prove this is a gang related case? What if it's xenophobic killing because he had been doing well in the midst of the smelling Zulus?
you are too bigoted for me to engage you in any meaningful discussion. I have never heard of xenophobic attacks where the attackers waited 9pm and only fled in a car after killing one person. On the contrary the attack shows that the attackers knew when the victim would b alone, they knew at what time he leaves or closes his business, who more than his own people can know such things ?

Nonsense. Just as the way Lucky Duba's death was blamed on Nigerians only to found out the criminals were South Africans. Always looking for excuse.
If I'm not mistaken the killers in the mistaken identity case were from Zimbabwe. But that's even not the point the point is his death looks suspicious, it is more like a gang related death, and we all know that gangs members are recruited in the same community

how do you know the killers are south Africans .

Most of the time such crimes are committed by Nigerians themselves, in fact in most cases foreign nationals deaths are cause by their own countrymen, when they say businessman. What was his business? The article said they didn't take anything, so this was an assassination, probably gang related

You must be as dumb as your write up(mimicking your "lol" undecided).
If you know and accept that being light skinned as an african doesn't change the fact that you still black, why then is it always hard for people to accept a light skinned person for their color rather than throw snides at them and mock their colors by saying they bleach.
It's so pathetic that some people would see an albino and assume she had bleached.
Everyone should be proud in their color.

Moronic bastard, don't you ever call me dumb, my urine and feces are more dignified than you .

1) you are the one who implied that all the people calling them bleachers are Dark-skinned you alone where you got that from

2) you are the one who implied that all dark skinned are ugly or wish they were Ls

3) in your desperate attempt at taking a shot @ b darkskinned individuals you said : I quote it is not our fault if you are black & ugly as if a) ls are not black & b) black and ugliness are somewhat related

Now crawl back to that rat infested hole you came from, ignoramus bleaching and calling themselves ls , like I said cure your own inferiority complex. If you are blind or living in self-denial others are not .

They are both different
The one giving it for free as you put it in a committed relationship, whether the bf is a cheat or not is not the point, the fact is she is in a relationship where she is being deceived (in your argument) however you only showed the bad side, I hope you know there are relationships that ends with marriages, and you probably do not ignore that sex helps us to bond .

While the one doing it for sex simply is simply not dignifying her body, the simply thought of putting a price on my body is making me puke, you see them cashing 500naira 1000naira and getting fuvked like bitches . An ashawo has no soul and is a lazy and materialistic person

Again it shows the negative influence of nairaland on some people. What other African brothers are you referring to? Be careful brother, dont believe everything you see here. In CAR our people got killed by the thousands, their stores, cattle , property destroyed, nobody moved a finger. France watched and didnt do much. Now the day they start defending themselves they will call fulanis violent.

The Muslims were the first to misbehave and as usual the rest of the community kept shut to only cry blue murder when the Christians started retaliating, besides Fulani weren't not specifically targeted.

Yes Nairaland, newspapers etc all play a role in our we see thing.
