@ justwise - Are you saying you don't live in Nigeria as I am reading from one of your replies? |
Cipriani:Hello Forum Members, You are right about the fact that people need to come forward in person and act. Condemnations alone can not forestall greedy agents or "scammers". It is easy to point out inconsistencies, but it takes a real responsible mind to spend his/her time to get down to details. if you were at the premises of CS, you did well. I often wonder in the last one month why contributors did not come together on an agreed date to meet at the CS office - or are some forum members working together, talking with both sides of their mouth? I was actually asked this question by a Canadian immigration lawyer that I asked to look at this forum. It is risky to trust any info coming from any faceless contributor on this forum. I was logged out once when I tried to post a particular information about this scheme, it may be the forum administrator did that! Also, responsible persons were not even willing to come out to challenge the details that we sought to investigate. This can not happen in Canada and I don't know what to say about the consular officer in Abuja. Don't be surprised that even official methods also end up in official scams! We now need all the persons who feel aggrieved to set an agenda for themselves and come out the same way we have suggested in our earlier posts. Take action. Every step of the way in this country I have met many caveats on this issue - you can't do this and you can't do that - only the aggrieved can form a formidable force in the way we have suggested in the past on this forum. Good luck |
Hello everyone, After I made my last post, I contacted my "team mate" for the appointment I had made to come to Bariga. It turned out that one the military officers at the Apapa office who had been volunteered by the dept., to visit with us has been trying to reach me with new information about this immigration initiatives. First I tried to make a post from this same forum and I was prevented by a certain spy-bot program. I also feel - after this incidence - that it is better to allow individuals make their personal contacts with CS! There are a few legal issues involved in client agent relationships and that is why any reasonable security authority bids its time to sweep on fraudulent ventures. I don't know why I was blocked out on this forum since I see that all sort of comments have been passed here. Anyway, for avoidance of any doubt, I was actually at CS office long before midday. Some interesting adjustment were made to how we will go about this investigation. However, I did not find enough people who I could identify with on this issue. If you were a the venue and you noticed an ash-colored Everest Ford jeep with a Lebanese driver-this happening at about 11:43am for about 7 mins.- then you may probably understand I was around the office. It also appears from the conversations I garnered from some of the applicants who know about this forum, that they ignored it because they found that the contributors appear disconnected from the people who are about to be benefited or to be scammed. However all our other plans are intact and we hope that all will end well. But this is no doubt a big story with many Canadian Visa facilitation agencies. We'll keep you posted and we hope no one will be scammed or that necessary recoveries will occur fast enough on both sides. Good luck. |
Many things are happening in Nigeria because it's citizens are sleeping! NAFDAC conducted a written test on Saturday and it was like the whole youths in Nigeria was present. A consulting company was engaged for the process and some NAFDAC staff were present. The issue is how many people will be employed. Only 20! But over 9000 people applied. Two NAFDAC mamas were busy amusing themselves as the applicants scurry up and down for accreditation and policemen and women were busy mocking at university graduates, some who have traveled all the way from their bases outside Lagos. What plans does the government have for these teeming youths who want to work? No agency can pull so much crowd of educated persons in the US or Canada! NAFDAC even has more transparency than other government MDAs. They just go to their respective churches and mosques to gather their members, recruit them and before you know "God has done it" If you have participated in the last exercise keep your eyes open. Ministers ward was there, employed persons were there and the consulting company has its interests there too! There were 40 questions to be answered in 30 mins. None of you can pass that test or can you, ? |
tonnyflicks:Hello everyone, I urge you all who are stakeholders in this travel advertisement to come to the Bariga office of Crystal Services Ltd, on Tuesday by 12:30 AM. If we get up to 40 persons - which we estimate is a sizable number - we will make our legal requests, which should bring every cardinal issues to light. If you have purchased and submitted your from through an agent please ask the agent to be present! Good luck. |

Dear Members, I found this post intuitive and amusing. " There is no "secret formula" for working in Canada for two years," There is always a trade secret in every successful and legitimate business otherwise others will take advantage of your exposed skills. Trade secrets are never revealed to any one. However it is possible to be overly secretive and arouse suspicion. We are not however a strictly business network in Canada and do not have an office in Lagos. So, we urge those who are really concerned to stay close to their contacts at Crystal Services, engage an attorney or an investigative journalist and keep their eyes open. Things might be better though, had Crystal Services had a comprehensive website. Good Luck. |
Dear Members, I am still here in Lagos. Further to my last post I just want to explain that many services in Canada are on vacation or preparing to key-in on the changes in the new Canadian immigrant laws. Apparently, information on what's possible (and what's plausible) is at bay. Organizations are re-writing their guides and agreements in order to comply with what is envisaged on the new law. The processes from Crystal Services can only be deduced from its foreign partners in homeland Canada - if known. If any of the forum members have any useful knowledge that can - intelligently - guide this forum, please do not hesitate to post them before September 4/5. Thanks and good luck |
Dear members, I have been working in Canada along with some other immigrants since August 2001. We are in touch with some anti fraud agencies in Nigeria as well the some key officers and men in the Nigeria’s immigration service on account of Crystal Services. We made inquiries at the office of the Minister for Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, in Canada. The contact cannot confirm or deny anything about Crystal Services but it said it was summarily committed to cracking down on crooked immigration consultants. Crystal Services is in Nigeria not Canada and so it can not be responsible for what goes on in Bariga. We are trying to see how we can engender transparency and alert Nigerians (in case a fraud is going to happen) without disrupting legitimate business, using information from the Ministers office. At this point we will advice those applicants to inform an attorney in the next two weeks or contact investigative journalists such as those on Star FM, Lagos, Nigeria - or some of its regular contributors such as barrister Ubani. We have one of the supposed officers of Crystal Services under watch and we have registered one of our “watchers” on the program so that discovery and litigation will be easier to commence. Please note that it is counterproductive to jump to conclusions about any operations of CS or whatever I have said on this network. We just have scanty information and this does not criminalize crystal services as of today. We agree there are many reasons to doubt - such as the non availability of antecedents - but it is better to be ultimately sure of how to get around this matter. Good Luck |
