The man already made his point and the best thing to do right now is deny it or be sentenced to death.

Alright, let assume the man did not, in anyway write or contribute in that letter. What irk me is that Nigerians are not asking the right questions, instead they all decided to fall in the barrel of name calling.

One of the right questions is " is the content of the latter true or false?".

anyone has the freedom to say things sadly, it's actions that are punishable by law so all we can do is wait and watch. Arresting one or two of them will make on difference, but standing strong in the face of intimidation and terror and not bending to their will is going to break them because it takes away the last weapon they have left and forces them to play the game the lawful and just way like the rest of us

You are very wronged there, and a lot of other places in this your thread.
I understand and conclude that you bore a anti Northern sentiments.
I have no remorse for your sentiments. However I regret the lives lost in violence in the North be it political or religious violence.
Moreover, I regret the way you are trying to stigmatise blame on your political opponents, and the way you are also trying to ward off, and acquaint your master off all blames.
Your master might be a good person, but he is being too good to criminals and insensible to his pledge and thus very bad as a president to the compatriots of his nation.

I urge you to be very introspective on what you stand for, and try to see how in detriment it is to the well being of your neighbours and your nation in general.

Politics / Re: Photo; APC Vice Presidential Candidate Campaigns For Vote Inside BRT Bus by cannonnier(m): 11:14pm On Dec 25, 2014
luvinhubby:

The problem with most online political campaigners is the impression that all Nigerians are illitrates & cannot judge issues properly.
There is a difference between role-playing & character. One is projected to satisfy the demands of a particular season or occassio & is temporal, the other is whom you are & will always be, & that lasts a lifetime.
When politicians role-play like prof just did, it is only a temporal action meant to attract favourable response from.gullible voters. Their true character is what they were exhibiting before now & that is what they will display after the votes hasd been counted, win or lose.
My concern with a lot of APC apologists is that you are labelled all kinds of unprintable names if you do not share views on issues & that is immature.
If prof Osinbajo was not riding brt buses before now, that is his character, he will not ride after the elections, win or lose. What he just did is role playing & that is hypocritical & deceptive.

You have a good argument here, but you can only deceive the gullible.

Suppose I don't interact with the society, I rather sit back at home or in the office and observe things than go to a party, gathering or appear in the tv for a chat. Then there be a decay in my society, and the government is leading a "administration of vice", and all the degrading behaviour keep on exacerbating.
In such situation, any sensible, un-beguiled minded individual will agree "there is need for change".

Then came out a society outcast to preach the need for change, the truth. To ameliorate, to positively affect the society that has been affecting him negatively.

And there came out you- a celebrator of mediocre and impunity, to call an astute examiner a hypocrite? Perhaps you have been dining with the knaves in the house of power, No! Perhaps you have been eating the left over and the crumbs that's been falling off their dining table and thereby having the energy to wag your tongue and try to confuse us to celebrate your beloved mediocre-chiefs in the house of power.

We say no. You're the hypocrite here and a rogue celebrating scallywags in power. Come february the change the majority crave shall come to pass.

Pls Pastor prof. should tell us the last time he commutted on a brt bus before today.
If he was not doing it before & did it now to solicite for votes, then there is no better definition of hypocrisy than this.

How many time have you said that people should not campaign in a. Certain way if they haven't been doing so before now, if this is the first time "you are a hypocrite".

Where are Buhari's 2011, 2012 and 2013 Christmas messages?

What message does Buhari have for the families that lost their children serving in the North in 2011?

What Christmas message does Buhari have for all those who lost their livelihoods in Kano, Kaduna, Bauchi as a result of Sharia which he supported?

Please, these and many others who are victims of your religious bigotry do not need your message now! We know better. Do not hoodwink us with your supposed sympathy.

Phones / Re: 5 Things You Probably Never Knew Your Mobile Phone Could Do.. by cannonnier(m): 8:03pm On Dec 18, 2014
macjireh:
There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. . Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:

FIRST: Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112.
If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency,
dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialled even if the keypad is locked. Try it out...

SECOND: Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday.
Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their mobile phone from your cell phone.
Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock.

Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you.

Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other ' remote ' for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk)...

Editor ' s Note: It works fine! We tried it out and it unlocked our car over a mobile phone! '

THIRD: Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your mobile battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370#
Your mobile will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery.
This reserve will get charged when you charge your mobile next time.

FOURTH: How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone ' s serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 #
A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset..
Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone get stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless.

You probably won ' t get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can ' t use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

FIFTH : ATM - PIN Number Reversal - Good to Know
If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can
notify the police by entering your PIN # in reverse. For example, if your pin number is 1234,
then you would put in 4321.

The ATM system recognizes that your PIN number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to the location.

This information was recently broadcast on CTV by Crime Stoppers however it is seldom used because people just don ' t know about it...... Please pass this along to everyone.

This is the kind of information people don ' t mind receiving, so pass it on to your family and friends.
