there's too much fuss on this multitv. When one hears its going to be encrypted it looks as if the world's coming to an end.
I remember one guy stating earlier that they'll encrypt their channels just like other paytvs but a member here nearly fought him because of that. It has finally happened! too bad.

I have a daarsat reciever with the 1m dish. Can i use it for C-band satellites? If yes, which one? Don't take it out on me.@Enitan. i just need answers pls.

@All/Enitan.The issue of newbies asking the same questions over and over again can be solved if FAQ is updated. By doing this, any questions answered earlier will be referred to that page. I've been to other forums and they don't ask you to read all the pages in their forum. They refer you to the page the question was answered if you ask questions. It can be done here too. The moderator and other top members can see to that. I agree that most of the old members worked hard and it took them a while to be experts in this, but do we have to go thru all that to prove a point? With each new day, life is meant to be easier. The things that were difficult some years back are much more easier now. Suggesting that the newbies should come together or buy your book on satellites for dummies is waste of time. You know its not gonna happen. What about those people living outside lagos? For instance,people living in the south-east,south-south or north. The point is that Nigerians love free things. The word FREE gets their attention. They can't possibly pay you when they know you got what you have for free.
The old members should compile the questions newbies are likely to ask and forward them to FAQ. This might be difficult but i believe this is the way to solve this problem. New questions can now be answered here while old ones are redirected to FAQ. This is only a suggestion.

Can daarsat package be used to recieve nilesat in the east? By package, i mean reciever,pan and other things.
