ok Ma, am currently on folic acid, concerning dh he has done test and the result read low counts we later met with an urologist who asked him to go for scan, he did the scan and the result shows varicocele as the cause of the low counts, we were adviced by the urologist to undergo surgery which he did

do castor packs 2 days after ur period stops totally. U can add gently mayan or avigo massage. Do the pack till jus b4 O. Then stop n continue next cycle if no bfp.

for non ttc u can do thru out cycle except during af.

For non- ttc with painful periods 5days b4 af doing d packs alleviate d pains.

for a starter u can do daily. As the months go by u can alternate days

I suspect they changed the name from wellwoman conception to pregnacare conception. Just be sure it has conception on the pack sha and it's not the one for preggies.

Adunola Is Ovumin not another brand of Clomid? Check well before using it.

You can monitor within 3 mths if it's improving or not. Fertilsan M wouldn't do any harm as it's just supplement so you can give it a try. Papa RipVanWink mentioned he'll sell to thread members at 22k, so if you don't have anyone travelling to Uk or Germany and areas with free delivery, you can get from him for the mean time. Last I bought from Amazon last year, it was costlier.

I'm here to thank God for opening one of my tubes that was blocked.

@mumigrace thanks for your encouragement. Couldn't get any place for flushing so decided to repeat HSG since I've been on Serra and Wobenzym for long.

Tried to continue but the nausea could not allow me, though I still took some caps two days before the test. Started with 1 Caps then increased to 2 which I spaced for about 4hrs interval so took total of about 9 caps d day before the test.

During the test, I felt the dye moving on my left tube, a little painful for the first two dye insertion and didn't feel much of the pain on the 3rd which was the last. Was so scared as I didn't feel anything on the right tube so was scared if it was still blocked.

Just got my result today and to the glory of Almighty, both tubes are open.

It's now only subserous fibroid from scan which has remained same size for the past one year and all other small ones are gone.

My DH counts are also okay now after Fertilsan M for 6mths. Though we plan he continue on it, got another batch already.

Our God is really Great.

Let's keep trusting Godand doing the ones we can.

there is always chance for improvement, give it all you guys have got. though u guys needs loads of discipline and faith.
let him try the local herbs option too, guava leaves/honey/onion combos, in addition to the clomid and other supplements your doc may prescribe...try this for 6 to 12months consistently. research on TESE+IVF, that may be an option if the count come up a bit even if its 500k sperm cells

the variocle may hv been caused by trauma to the testicles many years ago..probablly when he was a teen or something.
people hv beat aids/cancer etc...e come be high fsh.
i hope he is the research type...cos its better if he is in charge, doing the research and trying out new stuff.

Hello. A good urologist is Dr Omisanjo +2348066406584. I am not sure about affordability because we never got around to consulting with him.

Please please please no man should self medicate on clomid. It can irreversibly mess with a man's hormones. Doctor Emeka mentioned this to me. Consult a urologist and let him guide you. In the meantime, I totally recommend Fertilsan M for sperm issues.

You can buy locally for the first month if you want to start immediately and then try buying through mallforafrica or shoptomydoor. The selling websites often offer discounts for bulk purchases and by the time you add the shipping cost, you still would have saved a lot of money. Shop to my door also offers different shipping time/options which will make the cost more reduced.

high fsh in males is usually linked to testicular problems - sometimes caused by trauma/mumps/cogential issues and associated low testerone.
docs recommend treating the cause and not the fsh values.
you may wish to google more....from the lil research i did, it appears his taking sperm boosting tabs usually dont achieve much. if funds isnt a problem..u can still go ahead with the fertilsan m its about 27 gbp/pack if you buy in the uk. and then find a way of shipping it down to naija. some sellers are also on nairaland you can search, i would hv a few packs for sale at a discounted price of 22k / pack to members of this thread next wk

not really sure, but hv come across urologists prescribing clomid to males for hormonal issues, let him start exercising, jogging swimming..pressups and pull ups..these increase testerone and help in countering the high fsh. why not try fertilsan m, good reviews about the supplement. also the tiger nut/dates/coconut smoothie...prepare for him round the clock for 1month..u can prep every 3 days 2 to 3liters and freeze/refrigrate.
ttc is quite tiring, but madam all these are minor..at least we can do small small things..than a woman without tubes/bad womb for instance..or a man with zero sperm...na donor things first +ivf again,, double wahala

@blessedmumi, yeas...ask him all these questions b4 proceeding, i wudnt hv gone ahead to do the 30k iui if i know what i know now. anything worth doing is worth doing well

some docs prescribe clomid for some males, for hormonal reasons, especially for anomalies in hormonal levels and s,emen.
am fairly certain he can combine it with any sperm boosting drugs...though its best you confirm from your doc.
from experience a urologist is the best specialist to handle male s,emen issues

You don't need to be scared. You need to have a positive attitude towards your exam to increase your chances of performing well.

Below are some tips to help you with the listening section (That is my own strong point )

*Read and follow the instructions---Use word where word is needed and number where number is needed. For example, a question that says "not more than TWO WORDS"….Writing 18 dollars or $18 as answer is wrong. The correct answer should be EIGHTEEN DOLLARS.

*To be on the safe side write all your answers in capital letters.

*Cross-check all your answers. For example, make sure the answer for question 7 goes for question 7.

*For map completion/diagram/flowchart, answers do come in order.

*For multiple choice questions, most times the correct answers would be paraphrased. You may likely hear all the options also.

*Underline key words and listen for them.

*Predict the answers i.e ask yourself will the answer be a name, date, number e.t.c

*Write the exact word you hear and correct spelling.

*Learn alphabets, numbers, names of streets, places etc. Practice this on ieltsliz.com.

*If cost is mentioned and the currency sign is not given in the question, don’t forget to put the sign. However, if the sign or symbol for currency has been given, you don’t need to use sign again.

*Above all practice and remember that full concentration is needed on the exam day.
