Santino1: No. They are different. What my post highlighted was that you can use the same photographs for both. The only thing you have to do is use any available photo editing software (I used photoshop) to reframe the soft copy you get from your photo studio into the eAPR dimension.
Printed photo dimension: 50mm by 70mm eAPR photo dimension: 35mm by 45mm or 420 by 540 dpi (dot per inch which is the most common way of expressing digital photo dimension)
I hope that's clear enough. thank u so much |

ugoiyke79e: My plan was to submit the new passport via CSE.....(you can just google cse on d cic website and see what it looks like) However because of naija factors, getting the new passport took about 12-13weeks by which time cic had sent me an ADR asking for the new passport( i was given 7days to submit it).....so they provided a placeholder for it...
You should take note that name change on intl pp takes an unnecessarily long time especially if done outside Abuja...so pls immediately u submit you app, go to apply for name change d very next day....
My reason for changing names was "I wanted synchronicity on all d names in ma application" u hav got another mail.thank u |

bestdiddy: Good morning All,
Please can anyone who used ICES as an ECA signify to me?
1. Document Requirement: Based on what I read on the website, they didn't explicitly state that a copy of my degree certificate should be sent, they stated as follows
"In most cases an official transcript is sufficient as long as the completion of the award is noted within. If confirmation of the award is not present in the academic transcript, this information can arrive in letter form from the appropriate authority accompanying the official transcript of records"
Now, in my transcript, there's no confirmation of award but the school will send a clear copy of my degree certificate. So am I required to get the letter they stated above along with my transcript? . . . or is the degree certificate and the transcript all that is required?
2. Document Characteristics: "for a document to be considered official, it must bear proper seals, signatures and postal markings"
Please, what do they mean by postal markings?
Thanks and kind regards. i think superdoll used ICES for her result evaluation.pls check her previous post |

miliicarter: Hi House,
We also received an ADR requesting that we provide Height, eye colour, passport data page, bank statement and payslips.
1) My proof of fund was provided by a Gift deed (49%) and by my husband (51%). Husband provided source of the fund employment letter, statement and letter explaning the funds. Also the fund was in form of a 1 year treasury bill. The fund was 3 months away from maturity when we applied.
2) I only claimed points for 1 year work experience which was in HR. Although I worked in a Bank and currently work in a construction firm, I didn't put this in my work history. I only specified it in my personal history. As such no point was awarded for it.
3) However, CIC has asked me to provide reference letters for my bank job and current employment. Also I've been asked to provide the payslip and corresponding bank deposit for the job i claimed point for and my current job.
4) I have my payslips however for the bank statement for one of my jobs is not available. After i joined the bank, the bank opened accounts for us as staff and closed my former account. I was in the bank branch today and asked to print my statement. I was told that the statement cannot be printed as the account was closed. However, I've sent a mail to the bank to document the situation. In the event the bank cannot provide me with the statement, I intend to attach the email alerts I got for the times the salary was paid into my account, my mail to the bank and the response received from the bank and an explanation saying that the bank could not provide me with statement.
5) I was asked to provide reference letter from the bank. I've called the HR at the bank and was asked to send a email. I've sent the mail and given the bank's not so stellar record of being bureaucratic, In the event they can't provide the refernence, I've decided to submit my employment , confirmation letter and complementary cards and correspondence with the bank as regards my reference letter.
6) On myCIC portal, there is no placeholder to upload the documents. I've sent a mail to the London office and copied ottawa and also raised a technical issue report on the portal.
I'd like to know if there's anyother thing I can add or am missing at the moment. Thank you so much. pls if i may ask is ur visa office london?hav u eva had any visa refusals |

Dammiehar: Morning all, I can't keep calm, it's PPR
Special thanks to 40manlappy who has been a pillar of support all through this journey and thank you to everyone on this platform. I used to be very active on this platform few months back, but went off due to personal reason, and I am happy I am finally here with the good news.
My application was far from perfect and I had quite a number of LOEs in my application and I still thank God it was concluded in 20 days. I submitted reference letters ONLY for my work experience, as both businesses do not give payslips and no questions were asked, as the letters had all required information. There were many errors on our marriage certificate, like occupation, date of birth and we addressed them upfront with affidavit and LOE. I did not notarize my gift deed, as I didn't think it was necessary as I had two witnesses who signed it, after submission I started seeing different opinions of people saying it had to be notarized and I just prayed. We also used sale of land as part of our POF and submitted ONLY the agreement of sale with the previous owner and new sale agreement with the new buyer and it was accepted. In all, let us try our best with our applications and don't be scared of anything, do your best, ask for advice and commit it all to God, it will end in praise.
Timeline AOR: Oct 20 Med Passed: Oct 30 IP1: Oct 31 NA2: Nov 3 RPRF Request/Paid: Nov 7 IP2: Nov 8 PPR: Nov 9
God bless us all, to everyone waiting, may PPR fall on you very soon. congrats on ur ppr,pls can i get d format of d affidavit u used in correcting ur occupation n can d affidavit b done in a magistrate court. |
