DEDICATES AWARD TO PRESIDENT TINUBU


FCT Minister, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike was on Thursday, June 27, 2024 honoured with the ThisNigeria newspaper Gold Prize in Infrastructural Development and Exceptionⁿal Leadership in the second edition of the paper’s Annual Lecture and Gold Prize Awards held in Abuja.


Accepting the award, Barr. Wike who thanked ThisNigeria Newspapers for the honour, dedicated the award to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending him for his Renewed Hope Agenda.


He said: “I want to dedicate this award to His Excellency, the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria for deeming it necessary that we be part of his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigerians, without which it would not have been possible for us to contribute our quota. I want to assure Nigerians to continue to have hope and things will improve under the Administration of His Excellency, Ahmed Bola Tinubu

FCT Minister, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike on Tuesday, June 11th commissioned the access road to the Kwali town link bridge amidst accolades from the people of the Area Council.

FCT Minister, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike in his remarks during the commissioning event said that the FCT Administration will continue to work towards ensuring that every nook and cranny in the territory feels the impact of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The minister urged the residents of Kwali not to lose hope as the President has assured Nigerians that he will bring hope back to them, irrespective of political affiliation.

He said, “Mr President has said, do not lose hope, he is here to bring your hope back. And with what he has done with this road today shows, indeed, hope is coming back to our people.
“It is not about the party, it's about you Nigerians. Its about you the Kwali people, its about you Abuja people, because it is not one particular party that will use this road. Even if you don’t belong to any particular party, you will still use this road. And that’s what is important to Mr President. It does not matter where you belong. His vision is to bring back hope to Nigerians. And that is why we have done what we have done here today”.

On the seventh day of commissioning of projects in the FCT, the B6 B12 Circle Road was commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday, 6th June 2024

The President who was represented at the event by the Senate President, Senator Godswill Akpabio, said the roads being commissioned were paving the way for enhanced economic activities, improved accessibility and a higher quality of life for residents.

He said: “When we assumed office one year ago, we set forth an ambitious agenda to transform our nation's infrastructure landscape. We recognized that efficient transportation networks are vital for economic growth, social integration, and overall national development.

“Today, as we unveil these strategic roads, we are not just opening pathways of asphalt and concrete but also paving the way for enhanced economic activities, improved accessibility, and a higher quality of life for our citizens”.
