My parents and relative are guilty of all crimes. Fighter Pilot: One country's force is well armed than rebels and insurgents and has a licence to buy weapons legitimately. Rebels in most of the times are poorly equipped and find it hard to procure arms since they are classified as militia and have no licence to trade arms other than by smuggling. Moreover, rebels are not fully established force with Airforce, Navy and special forces brigades.

i must pause to comment at this point, i have been silent for quite a long time now, busy following the military offensive on boko haram, an i think you "FIGHTER PILOT" is a new bird in this thread, bt well your welcomed, bt to the matter at hand, explicitly refering to boko haram as poorly armed militia is a gross divertion from the truth. Military intelligence from DHQ has it that these islamist sluggards wield weapons that were losed to rebel forces during the Libyan uprising! This has gotten out just from the few of intelligence to reality, as our troops have on different occasion come under missile and Anti aircraft gunfire, our North east based 81 division alpha jet was shot at by these weapons and it took the pilots tactics and most importantly God's will to return safely to base, these bunch of retards(so i called them) have links with mujao, AQIM and Central AL-QEADA and most recently Hezbollah netwoks which provide them with training and arms!
Moreso, the current offensive is waged against highly suicidal lads who wil stop at nothing to achieve "ALLah's will" (So the say).
Irrespective of this, the Nigerian army is using only special forces detachment from the Eastern command of less than 5,000 troops to do battle with insurgents spread across an area 6 times the size of serria leone and almost 3 times the size of guinea bassau,liberia and serria leone! It is also remarkable to note that in the entire history of our dear Africa, from cape to cairo, no country, nation or state has been able to subdue Alqueada backed islamic insurgency with even all its own military forces or pesonally(by itself), bt here we are tackling boko haram with a special forces detachment a.ka. "Desert force 1" without having to withdraw our troops from foreign soils(mali,somali,guinea bassau,AU,UN MISsions ETC) not to talk of using troops apart from those of the north eastern division assigned AOR, together the Nigerian army has a long way to go bt saying it can not fight and defeat any african force given "african war terrain" is what i must soriously ask you to review. And ones again welcome "FIghter Pilot" to the debate.

The report mentioned Operation Prosperity which is a "joint" naval operation on coast of Togo, (not Nigeria you dumbhead). In simpler grammar, Nigeria is helping Togo secure her coastline from pirates as Togo has no navy, so Togo MUST provide all necessary assistance/HELP to make it work out or else Nigeria backs out and leave Togo to face her problems. Use your common sense, how can Togo without a navy help Nigeria Navy deal with piracy in Nigerian waters? ...common, you get brain nah...!

Nigeria also has joint naval military ops with Benin Republic, Ghana and Sao Tome & Principe. Joint Army ops with Cameroon, Niger, Chad and Benin Republic. In other words, Nigeria has joing military operation with all her next-door neighbours, Bight of Benin Neighbours and is building same with Gulf of Guinea neighbours.

I have taken time to lecture you on English language your "world class" schools failed to teach you and logical reasoning your proven-to-be-useless military schools failed to develop in you. More importantly, if only you have CAPACITY TO LEARN, I have given you a hint on Nigeria's regional military policy of partnership. You don't just barge into people home and form commando, afterall you people should now be wiser after CAR experience. There are deeper politics and subtle nuances that need be mastered above public display of shiny military weapons.

All terror cells must be deactivited in Naija! Habah! I think its time the military created a top secret covert anti-network to infiltrate all known terrorist orginasations, gather inteligence, and deploy same for actions, all terrorist organisation local or foreign in one way or the other poses a threat to National security.

Poverty? What of the thousands of poverty stricken in Central africa? What of extremely Poor communities in zimbabwe? Why are the not exploding bombs? Why are the not attacking christians, burning churches, maiming citizens, amputating children? Guess why?
