Ikengawo: When I made the thread about Saharareporters and Premiumtimes being trash you guys thought It was just opinion

For years I thought the whole of Nigerian journalism was trash until i started paying attention to the sources of the trashiest gossip. It was always. ALWAYS premiumtimes, and saharareporters. They're nothing more than gossip blogs and not a single worker in their fold has a degree in journalism or any form of writing.

PREMIUMTIMES IS A GOSSIP BLOG, IGNORE IT.
my bro, nw where are all those that were arguing with us about the authencity and truth in the report about "NIGERIAN TROOPS NOT BEING FED?. The are under their pillows i guess!!! I said it that whoever belived that PREMIUMLIES article is a gullible fool! GOD HAS INDeed vindicated the military and open they opposition backed PremiumLies

Okija_juju: I hope you understand how DICON works..

DICON also makes the AK-47, does that make the AK-47 a Nigerian weapon or a Russian Assault rifle?
lol. It very well doesnt, bt considering u were saying nigeria doesnt manufacture even RPG is mind boggling! Airforce engineers are currently working on frabricating a missile system in collabro with india and the are also working on a light attack trainer jet, so i dnt see the big deal in RPG and kalishnikovs. Thanks
PoliticsRe: Kenyan Aircraft Was Grounded For Violating Security Procedures by Capnd143(m): 10:43am On Jun 21, 2013
with the trend of things, i think its high time we start getting ballistic missiles and nuclear warhead, with a stockpile of those, even though we have internal problems this african countries will think twice b4 making a decision! Imagine nigeria threatening to turn nairobi to "a sea of fire" ? Hmmm! Kenyatta will immediately bring peace offerings
PoliticsRe: 10,000 Jobless Amnesty Beneficiaries Return To Creeks by Capnd143(m): 10:23am On Jun 21, 2013
So after training them govt should also employ them? What utter rubbish reporting is this? The have the skills thanks to the govt, why cant the start a mini business? If the want to go back to militancy, no problem, all the FG needs to do is pull out all it troops from liberia, guinea bassau, sudan and mali and redeploy same to the niger delta, meanwhile NIBBAT 1 special warfare troops should be stationed at bayelsa. . . . Bt i pray those nimwits dnt go back to militancy/armed robbery

Msauza: Lies!!! Your so called fancy satellites could not help you with tracing Boko Haram. Satellites are only good as research tools. It was only after the US secretly deployed their drones to spy on Boko Haram that you managed to root out the location of Boko Haram.

Here's the proof that the US secretly deployed their drones to Nigeria.

http://mobile.punchng.com/output.php?link=http://www.punchng.com/news/us-drones-spy-on-boko-haram/
i am not too good in name calling but to be frank with your post above, it means you are such an ignorant lad! US DROnes spy on boko haram in civilian population? With due Respect i think you need to cross-examine your post before posting, i think you failed to get the part chief of army staff Gen.Ihejirika said that nigeria doesnt and will nt accept any help from the Us to combat boko haram during the State of Emergency in the north eastern states. Why always pick things u cant verify bro? I like ur argument though, bt be a little unbiased
PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Train Astronauts For Space Travel by Capnd143(m): 6:21pm On Jun 20, 2013
ShyM-X:
You're very ignorant.

Nigeria can't even make a RPG for crying out loud; yet you want to train astronauts for space travel

Are people that daft in that country, or is it nl? undecided
it seems u are the daft party here! Nigeria cant make RPG? Then the ones produced at Dicon is by ur dunce ass

Okiki_Oluwa: I m not a fan of Premium Times, but there's truth in that report.
if you can prove any truth in it then i will forever wallow in shame bt if you cant then you my dear e-brother is a gullible dunce
gbadexy: The power of press!
It took the press to tell what was happening in mali for the military to do the correct thing.
I hope the soldiers are aware of the source of their reprieve and remember when they want to oppress the press.
lol. Hw gullible you must be! Power of press Indeed! A press that waited for aljazeera to come all the way from Qatar to report SoE in north east nigeria then the immediately copied and paste abi? From baga massacre to SoE which of them have for once reported from the hotspot? Is it the same press that would go as far as Mali to do sidetalks with NIBBAT1 commanders and report back home? PremiumLies is indeed from the PremiumLIARS
PoliticsRe: FG Sends Food To Troops In Mali, PT Reporter Threatened With Arrest by Capnd143(m): 5:49pm On Jun 20, 2013
onitshaigbo: Whoever is responsible for this fiasco should be executed. Imagine in a real war, our soldiers don't even have food, talkless of bullets and other supplies.
you are clueless to say the least bro! Can u prove any truth in this lies u call news? Nigerian forces in mali are well feed by Military from pre-provided military funds, it is not abuja politician that does the feeding bt rather their allocated funds in the national budget!! And to say the least, malian residents in towns the are protecting give them cows and lorries of rice to show support and solidarity, bt back home PremiumLies are cooking up Lies to dent the image of thd Military in an attempt to get back at the FG.
arcbabe: In Journalistic practice it is unethical to disclose your sources of information,it is wrong for the major General to ask where he got the information from. If they've not been paid the best thing is to pay them now atleast they are working for the money. Unlike politicians that embezzle money.
good u knw they have been doing their job and bad u are clueless about military funding and feeding, can the same PremiumLies who is ur source, provide any substancial evidence in form of still images and/or video to back up thier claim? PremiumLies that couldnt even report in boko haram enclaves in Nigeria would go as far as having military sources in Mali? And sources in the much secretive "NIBBAT 1 special warfare regiment" for that matter? PremiumLies are just PremiumLIERS

yes, female troops were among those deployed! Presumably the were female troops from the NIBBAT 1 special warfare troops of the 333 artilery regiment

berem: Premium Times is right after all! smh for Federal Government and the Nigerian Army cry

Did i hear FAO give Federal Government award for eradicating hunger in Nigeria? SMH... cry
can you prove that there is an iorta of truth in what u are saying? Or u are just basing ur arguement on false speculations ? I can bet my black As.s that Nigerian troops in mali are well feed, if not so, it would have evil aljazeera reporters that would have been the first to report, then useless premium times would have done copy and paste
PoliticsRe: FG Sends Food To Troops In Mali, PT Reporter Threatened With Arrest by Capnd143(m): 4:48pm On Jun 20, 2013
Eko Atlantic: Good one from Premium times for alerting the slow and non-thinking federal government.
This is what the press should've been doing for years.

Channels TV also did something similar months ago about the police academy in Lagos. They need to keep it up.
If at all the top government is not reasonable enough to know and do what's right, the media should point it out and the opposition showing them the way it's done.
if you can provide any solid/tangible/substancial prove to back up the claim that mali based troops are not feed then i will shut up and accept being a dunce bt if you cannt thdn you are a fool! Very Big FOOL AT THAT! Premium times director should be tried immediately 4 "military espionage" for claiming to have defense official leak information to them on the war front! And yes i can provide you with proves/evidence to back my argument!

Garri the 1st: cheesy cheesy

Where is Ikeangwo to come and discredit Premium Times??
shut up! Where is the prove that food was sent to the troops today? Did u get any video? Premium times couldnt even report Boko haram state of emergency right here within our nose, is it then as far as mali that the reported, that the heard that type of a storey! I always say i have gagantous prove that Malian based troops are well feed, bt no one has been able to man up and ask 4 it, because every person beliving this news is highly gullible! Troops that receive loories of rice monthly and cows are not well feed?

you will be so gullible to believe that! Premium times are very big liers! I can bet my ass on it! Just 2 days ago that troops were deployed to Mali to relieve the already deployed ones, how then will the send food today? After sending food along side the deployed troops! GOD SHALL VINDICATE PREMIUM TIMES WITH THEIR LIES

this is a big lie from premium times again! Oh my GOD! The govt sent a 9O6 man recuperation force to Mali to relieve the already stationed soldiers, 2 days ago, so i dnt see why the would also sent food which was sent along side the deployed troops. Some nairalanders are just 2 gullible

Mobsync: Any1 making unnecessary noise on nairaland should also be shot on sight. Damn, u remind me of the policemen in Niger/Delta who went on rampage killing any bodily built youth they saw, all in the name of killing militants.

jTF should make friends with the locals and if they can't, they should remain neutral. Making enemies with them could turn brutal and backfire, thus making the SOE become nothing but a waste of time and resources.
a man that dances to the rythm from the druming of a mad man is theoritical mad, so bro if u replied to my post and claim that my post is unnecessary noise making, i guess we are both making Noise! No harm meant bro! Have a nice day

Ban anything related to terrorism, even if shouting allah arkbar is related, ban it, anyone cought shouting should be shot on sight, anyone with long caftan and overgrowm beards with hungry and scary looks should be shot on sight, anyone that frequents the mosque regurlarly even without reason and carrying a load should be shot on sight, after this is done then we will negotiate with human rights watchdog later!

cfola: Capnd143,

As much as I would like to support your thoughts, let us look at it from this angle.

Of what use is a functional hand when the leg is not working. As much as the hand will want to strive for excellence, its performance will be cut short due to the lack of functionality of the other part of the body.

The argument is that in as much as we need to develop technologically and invest in science, there are far more pressing problems that need to be solved first and that is very pertinent.

There are processes and procedures to be taken. You do not preach to a hungry man, first you feed him.

Let us look at an example, at the FEC meeting, every ministry brings in its budget, but there are ministries that matters concerning them have to be met and cases classified as urgent despite and inspite of scare resources than the other ministries.

It will only amount to foolhardiness, if we leave the core issues and embark on elephant projects.

The people are hungry, there are no good roads, education is pathetic, Health is in shambles and the people are impoverished, and we r here talking technology to them.

Let the basic things of life be made available and then if government like to talk Bio-genetics or some other rocket science, nobody will worry.

We will all be happier for it but until then, the people wont stop crying foul!

nice! Nice!! Nice!!! Bt bro, lets take a look at this technically, allocation for science and technology in the national budget was critically meager! So i dnt see a case scenario were a critically meager fund would affect any area which the govt should place priority on and invest gagantously. The proper utilisation of those meager funds however shouldnt be a pain in the back for other sectors!. And nigeria spends billions of dollars to acquire military hardwares from US,ISREAL,UKRAINE,RUSSIA,SINGAPORE and even south africa! Countries we should be competing with in africa with far less stable economy than ours are investing in technology, and we keep shouting blue murder whenever Prof. Ita, minister of technology tries to remain some looted funds 4 meningful projects

Do you understand English at all? Or you just heard 'false claim' for the first time today and decided you must use it in a sentence by fire, by force.
Pray tell. What is false about what I said? Did or did not a space shuttle become missing in orbit?

Please park well jor!
shot ur trap! The nigcomSat-1 that failed in orbit was built by the chinese and not nigeria and it was immediately replaced and that was not the first time in the world a sattelite failed in space! The one built by nigerian engineers is still hovering over our solar system till this day in good condition and is used for weather tracking, security survillance and general geographical imagery! Anybody that opposes this innovation should go back to the stone age!
PoliticsRe: Nigeria To Train Astronauts For Space Travel by Capnd143(m): 5:25pm On Jun 19, 2013
Horus: The costs of space travel are far too expensive at the moment. The money should be used to build hospitals and schools.
i dnt see anything to expensive about rocketry and sattelite investment, do u knw hw much we spend periodically to buy missiles and maintain sattelites facilities manufacture abroad? What is too bad about mastering the act and getting paid to produce right here in Nigeria? Through this same way, nigeria nw has engineers capable of producing and launching suffisticated sattelites to space! Do u knw how much me paid the chinese to build nicomsat 1 that failed in orbit? Almost halve of that amount we used to produce our own locally! Apart 4rm that the world military nw depends on superior rocketry firepower, that is what north korea used as baggaining chip against Us and a scarecrow against south korea!!
