Education / Re: JAMB 2017: Oloyede Made Everyone Look Brilliant by Capslock01: 7:53am On May 19, 2017 |
If you've written JAMB since they scrapped the PPT, you would had known that the former registrar (Prof. Dibu Ojerinde) is a specialist in failing and giving out imaginary results. Prof. Oloyede does not make any candidate looks brilliant but rather give most people their desire scores. Do you know how many people that scored below 180? Go to myschool website to see for yourself and stop judging on few results you see on nairaland. What make you think those people that have been failing jamb do not deserve more? or the fact that they had failed several times, justify they should fail again this year! If Oloyede had chosen to go in the way of Dibu by dishing out imaginary results, I'm sure you'll be the first person to condemn him. I've been observing jamb dealings since the days of (paper type A, B, C etc) and all I can say is Oloyede is FAIR. 40 Likes 3 Shares |

Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Capslock01: 11:22am On May 05, 2017 |
Misypee:Okay. Since it was the school that offered him admission and not jamb, so he has to make his admission known to jamb by regularising. It's just a way jamb attest that one graduated/attended a school even when they (Jamb) does not offer one admission. Hope it's a good school sha and when applying for DE he should play safe in school selection. I wish him luck. |

tuazor: The form is not out yet. Buy all schools form? NO. just the ones you select during registration. |

PIANO1995:You stand a good chance. FU Otuoke? I don't know. Did JAMB offered you admission for your ND? Have checked you it recently to verify? If you're not offered admission, you have to regularise! Then obtain DE form, apply for transcript in the school you graduated from to be send to the school you're applying to and do yourself good by verifying if they don receive am. |

theoneJabulani:Not possible sir! The school in view will not admit you into political science through direct entry. Happy New month everyone, I pray this year will be the year your admission struggle will end. Thanks for keeping the thread moving! |

Geeflow: You pay equivalent amount of school fee! Like The polytechnic Ibadan that pay in 60% and 40% for first and second semester respectively. So, if one rerun in second semester one will pay the 40%. Hope this helps bro and sorry if this is coming late. |

frankele I saw your post on MCF thread just like Benji I've also made personal dedication not to make any public post on scholarship thread especially this BEA (I'm commentting a new account) as I applied with perfect 9B(s) but wasn't picked in 2014 but I believe everything happens for a reason, what if that's not God's plan for you? I make this post because of your perfect WAEC result 7A1. Trust me, you stand a better chance provided your O'level is not too old. How old is your WAEC? Search for Folasade Adebayo and mail her to tell her about your interest in USAP. I'll advise you not to tell her you've taken SAT, just tell her about your WAEC, awards with educational achievement and notify her of your interest in joining the USAP community. USAP accept students with minimum of 6A1. Hope this help. |

cutiedave: Lol, boss! Na that their own YCT preferential matter weak me oo. How them go sell form give everyone and then give all the slot to YCT students, that one na wickedness of the highest order now even when person meet criteria. They should just advertise the form for YCT to apply only than deceiving people. Those people gan no get conscience, seh other schools wey apply come sell groundnut ni. |

[quote author=Cutiedave] bro i would advise u to go to a skul where ur chances are higher...so ur distinction wont b a waste... D same happened to me last yr...i thought with my distinction from yabatech and good olevel(B parallel) i could enter any skul...so i decided to pick u.i instead of unilag....i still regret dat decision everyday all ma other classmates with distinctions were admitted to unilag... Just pick a skul where ur chances are higher... [quote author= RandomHero] To those who still think UI is absolutely transparent and would accept them if they meet JAMB's requirements, this is a case in point of what I've been reiterating. Good O'level, brilliant ND and yet... I'll say it again, your ND/O'level must be super impressive to get in through DE. Either that or your "inside person" is very impressive.[\quote] Longest time here! Knowpal, Dearpiriye and others you guys are doing a good job. To those guys that message me on whatsapp Abeg no vex for me say I no reply, I get issue with that my whatsapp! Hey dave, hope you're doing good! I think UI is always fair with their admission process, as in they pick very best of the best. Everyone with distinction or first class always aspire to make it to UI. You know say distinction dey swallow distinction sometime "Compare 4.5plus grade to 4.7plus" or "Compare 3.5plus to 3.7plus", You go see guys from East (Igbo) schools, North, West and South with competitive grade struggling for place in that type of school. So, for schools like UI distinction or first class no be gold for their eye, they probably have seen a lot of it. I know two guys with distinction in Mechanical engineering both with (over 3.7) one was given Mechanical and the other Industrial engineering last year! But as per Unilag, their own just weak me! To, that bro that want to pick UI with 2:2, God work wonders but play by the rules sir! 2 Likes 1 Share |

cutiedave:Hmm, eleyi tun gidi gan oo. Those two (except you) have not been admitted to other school? And they have further mathematics? Lol. So, even with a very strong distinction and very strong o'level (as in distinction in all subjects) unilag will still give priority to yct? I yen le gan oo. |
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Capslock01: 6:24pm On Jan 06, 2017 |
cutiedave: You're right bro. But I want to know how many people made distinction in your set (mechanical engineering) and what is the highest CGPA in your department (your set). Opeshe, your set too. How many? Sey, those people that made distinction in your set (MECH ENG) also have further mathematics in their o'level? And are they also aspiring for unilag? Please do you think unilag will pick someone from yabatech with GPA between 3.54 to 3.69 over someone from other polytechnic with GPA from 3.75 and above? These questions are not dispute your answer to koats14 question but to help a brother. Thanks. |
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Capslock01: 6:08pm On Jan 06, 2017 |
Koats14:Yes, you're on the right path. Is your distinction grade competitive? I'm just asking ni o, I DON'T think it is part of criteria for selection. |

krinniebouqui:You graduated from my alma mater. Eyin omo north abi na Eruwa/Saki you finished from? Well, no try Unilag, they will not accept your diploma "try reading larrydking posts to understand why". You have wasted two years, you now want to settle for less? Have you forgotten that if one persists one will succeed. Wo Bukky, If someone think HND is better then think about why is the person also trying DE? Wo, don't let anybody deceive you o. Carmal90, had HND and he still wants to try DE. Wonder why? Try OAU or OOU (if you have the financial capacity) then collect jamb form with it and select schools that will easily admit you. |
