MasterRahl: Good! You can try both the direct entry and master. Ehn, check out the mastercard foundation scholarship, federal government overseas scholarship FSB, Erasmus mundus, Turkish government scholarship etc those are few ones you can apply to and it costs nothing but your energy and dedication. There are many others, just try using google. Also if you have the financial capacity you can join EducationUSA 'they usually hold free interactive section every wednesday in the US embassy in Lagos and Abuja', who knows maybe you can get partial or fully funded scholarship by applying through them. Doing all this, you'll need lots of dedication, motivation and a mentor. Read through this thread too https://www.nairaland.com/1832477/how-achieve-high-scores-gre you might find something useful, you can also ask people question there. 1 Like |

Knownpal:is this a question bro? Or you're saying they accept second choice? |
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Capslock01: 12:25pm On Jan 04, 2017 |
Ghideourn:Play the tasued card. If you're sure they will accept your diploma course for the one you're aspiring for. Lasu admission to me is not transparent and alot of people usually consider them for second choice. |

oyephunmzee1:I do. Don't me too, I was just trying to know if you're a guy disguising a female. Hope you no vex? |

Vivly:True, it is too early for that. Are you an applicant? Which school? |
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Capslock01: 1:50pm On Jan 02, 2017 |
Ghideourn:You want to use tasued as first or second choice? Why not settle for uniben? since you met the distinction criteria. About Lasu, I no know if they will accept but people do pick for second choice. |

RandomHero:Egbon! You seem to know more but I know someone with weak upper credit that was admitted to faculty of technology UI from polyIbadan and the person no get leg for UI. Any explanation to this? So, nobody knows the criteria UI use in selecting applicants. But egbon, from your comments here e be like say you sabi person, why not connect people here? |

Carmal90:I don't know sir, but I thought they said Fashola reduced it to 20,000. Sorry, I initially thought unilag accepts upper credit for HND applicants. |

Knownpal:Larry said futa has stopped writing post de exam due to JAMB new policy but FUTMINNA conducted post de exam last year and I think it was quantitative and verbal. A friend wrote last year and he said the materials he used in preparing was the same thing he saw in the exam hall. He said like they just lift the questions from the material. |
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Capslock01: 3:35pm On Dec 30, 2016 |
Knownpal: Both schools are fine plus they write post DE exam. If you can ace it, you're in bro. You can go for any of the two. #Mythought. |

Carmal90: You finished from where? Egbon, do you have further mathematics in your O'level? UNILAG admits HND applicants to 300level. Or try LASU, OAU admits to 200level both ND/HND, MINNA, ATBU. |
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Capslock01: 3:21pm On Dec 30, 2016 |
kholayrio: Before considering UNILAG, do you have further mathematics in your O'level? Is your O'level obtained at a sitting? If the answer to the above questions is NO. Then, OAU or FUTA is your sure bet. A guy last year said OAU normally accept Laspotech students but I don't know if it is true (he finished from your school and was admitted for electrical electronics engineering). You can check last year OAU direct entry thread to verify. |

oyephunmzee1: Miss, na you oo, Distinction for nutrition and dietetics. I fall for you oo Larry, said FUNAAB is sure but I think UI is better because I've heard different stories of how FUNAAB denied people admission. But if na FUNAAB you like, just give it a try. A sister from my school made it to FUNAAB last year with upper credit. |

kholayrio: Why bro? Mechanical engineering is cool. koldej: Unlike JAMB aspirants, I don't think there is any way one can check direct entry statistics. My thought though. |
Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by Capslock01: 2:36pm On Dec 30, 2016 |
neurosci: No. SQMrProducer:I think 3.29 is lower credit, if obtained from poly Ibadan. UI, OAU and UNILAG do not accept lower credit. Try the list of schools in page one of this thread that accept lower and obtain JAMB form. |
