FriendsAndFans:
The longer you stay with certain foods, the more it becomes less appealing and tiring
The appealing/stealing won't be about you alone. Many of it would be about people outside. E.g, your wife, children, friends, relatives etc.

Many times, they will steal it not because they want to eat it but because they want to give people outside.

Also, many would steal to sell at a local market. So the appealing is not just to eat it but also very much about converting it to cash. This could go on for years unnoticed.

My uncle set up a pure water business thinking the workers would be tired of drinking water, but they show him shege by stealing bags of water produced and selling them for themselves.

If you want to do such documentary, I would expect you to at least visit all the parks in Lagos and speak to the parks chairmen and secretaries. They are the ones that will have adequate information and data that will enhance your documentary.

Zach is a fool to bodly declare that whatever NASS does is their own internal matter simply because he wants to use the Gazetted copy to carry out his pay masters bidding without due recourse to the people or the legislative arm.

I sorry for Tinubu government:

1. The Evidence Act, 2011 (Sections 104 and 105)
Under the Evidence Act, a Certified True Copy issued by the official custodian (the Clerk to the National Assembly) is treated as the "best evidence" of a public document.
Section 105 stipulates that a CTC has the same legal effect as the original document for admissibility in court.

While the Acts Authentication Act (Section 3) generally treats a gazette as "conclusive evidence," legal precedence holds that this presumption is rebuttable if there is proof that the gazetted text does not match the actual bill passed by the legislature.

2. The Constitution of Nigeria (Section 4)
The 1999 Constitution vests the legislative power of the Federation solely in the National Assembly.

Legitimacy vs. Publication: A law derives its validity from the constitutional process of being passed by both chambers and receiving presidential assent, not from the act of gazetting itself.

Judicial Precedent: The Supreme Court ruled in A.G. Federation v. Abubakar (2007) that a law is valid once the constitutional requirements are met, even if it has not been gazetted. Consequently, a gazette that materially alters what was constitutionally passed is an "unauthorized" document and cannot override the legislative will.

3. Legislative Authority and Re-Gazetting
The National Assembly has formally disowned the altered gazetted versions.
In January 2026, the Senate and House of Representatives leadership declared the previous gazettes "unauthorized" and ordered the Clerk to re-gazette the laws to match the CTCs.

This administrative action confirms that the CTC released by NASS is the only version containing the "duly passed" provisions, rendering the original gazette legally "inferior" and void for the purpose of enforcement.
The court will do the bidding of the FG under Tinubu/APC govt.

rather than carryout a thorough census of businesses operating in Nigeria to determine the taxable ones, we are busy designing policies that won't work. What is difficult in creating a website for Nigerian businesses who are not registered to immediately get themselves registered withing a timeframe, then send out agents for physical verication of the claims made by these businesses.
The issue is there are so many people in the informal sectors that are within taxable bracket that are not been taxed.

Y'all will continue to be daft and defend impunity at all cost because it has not affected you.
So for your mind now, USA is clean and they're the police of the world?
They can invade any sovereign country that won't have enough strength to fight back, bomb them indiscriminately, and kidnap their leaders indiscriminately?
Can USA dare do this to China, North Korea or Russia?
DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY INNOCENT PEOPLE THAT USA HAVE KILLED THIS MORNING IN THIS BOMBING?
If this was done to a Muslim country, you people would have been using the narratives of Islamic terrorists, right?
Just as you defended what those terrorists did to Palestinians, but you can cry that Russia is doing genocide to Ukraine...
Don't worry, karma exists... It'll one day be your turn and come to your doorstep.

In the coming weeks, The intoxicated terrorist will stop talking about drugs, and will now focus on the main goal, which is LOOTING.
This was what Obama did in Libya.
USA also did the same thing in Iraq, stealing tons of gold.

When Gaddafi was killed by those terrorists, some ignorant Libyans were jubilating, today we all know the status of Libya...
I still think he hasn't captured the real drug baron President.

One party State, Tinubu is killing opposition, so much for the politician who pretends to be a Democrat.

Even though I want PBaT to complete 8yrs, he needs to allow opposition to breath, at least he should allow the remaining opposition Governors to remain where they are.

Meanwhile I still believe Obi is a better Presidential material than Tinubu, but he lacks the Guts and rugged experience of a cunning man needed to handle Nigeria and Nugerians
I'm not so worried about what politicians do. I'm more worried about what the electorates do.

It's even very unprecedented in Nigeria that a public servant will resign despite any corrupt allegation.

kasiramji06:
So I’m dealing with a bathroom nightmare over here. My toilet’s been acting up for two days straight, and no matter how many times I plunge it, the thing just keeps rising like it’s trying to escape the bowl. I’ve never seen anything like it. I live in an older apartment, so I’m worried it might be something deeper in the pipes, but I really don’t wanna call the landlord unless I absolutely have to. Anyone been through this before? Any tricks I haven’t tried yet? I’m seriously running out of towels and patience.
Do you have kids at home? Are you sure your wife/gf has not flushed pampers inside?

Are you owing your landlord rents? Check with him if he has not blocked off your toilet pipe?

Lastly, get a plumber to look at it. DIY doesn't work sometimes. Let the professionals handle it.

Why do most Nigerians prefer illusions over reality. An industry only has a lot of players sign of infancy, stagnation and inefficiency. Once these factors are addressed, economic growth sets in with acquisition and merger reducing the number of players while increasing efficiency, quality, quantity etc
Do you know how much I bought petrol last year December? #1850!

Do you know how much I bought it this evening? #735!

Sometimes, we just need to look back and reflect. I know not many Nigerians do that. That's just who we are. We forget so easily.

Bad advice.
Toor. Let him hold on to the secret then. When the oldies finally depart, he will continue to live with the regret and pain, since he's already facing it. He can continue to chest it. Infact, no need to bring it up if it's not an issue for him.

The question is why did he bring it up for advise if he doesn't want to be lightened up and free from the burning pain?

I've been in almost similar situation. And I can tell you, elders, especially responsible parents will rather jump infront of a moving train for their children and loved ones.

He can decide to keep the problem for his generation or let the departing generations go with the problems they created. The choice is absolutely his.
