Politics › Re: We Set Trap For A Frog, But Caught An Elephant - Keyamo On Fubara's Defection by CaptainFM1: 1:28am On Dec 13, 2025 |
Breaker001: Seeing Fubara from afar does not give you the right to say he is docile. And even if he is, according to your own definition of docility, it was his seemingly "docile" nature that tricked Wike into picking him as his successor thinking Fubara is someone he can easily manipulate and beat into shape. But you can agree with me that Wike was dead wrong. Take it or leave it, Fubara is not docile as you erroneously think. You should go back to my first post. Obviously, I understand docility is relative depending on who is observing. That's why I said " For my liking". To you and maybe some people, he's not docile, while to me and some people, he's extremely docile. That's perspective for you. |

Education › Re: Can Your Child Survive South Korea's Brutal Grading System? by CaptainFM1: 10:00pm On Dec 12, 2025 |
grandstar: When I saw South Korea's grading system, it dawned on me why the country has the lowest birthrate in the world!
It is constant pressure on children to excel, and this translates into agonizing long hours at school, and at home to do very well.
I had 5 A's and 2 C's in both my WEAC and GCE but I doubt I would be able to endure the system.
What about you? Can you survice it? Can your child? Or do you prefer they see expo ? I will get that A+ in all my subject. For me, even 99% is a failure. |

Breaker001: My brother, forget it. Humility in itself is a powerful weapon. Don't forget what Tinubu told Fubara during the early days of his war with Wike. He told him that sometimes in warfare, a man has to stoop in order to conquer. And I think Fubara is a very fast and intelligent student Docility in this context refers to his passive nature. You can be docile and be humble. And you can still be active and be humble. Don't take words from the face value next time. |

Car Talk › Re: Know Your Tyre Speed Rating by CaptainFM1: 9:20pm On Dec 11, 2025 |
If you have mixed tire ratings, the maximum speed you should do on your vehicle should be less than that of tire with the lowest rating. (Safety factor/margin has to be considered).
Always remember this, "A chain is as strong as it's weakest link". And you don't want to get to the weakest link max limit.
You shouldn't have mix tire ratings though, unless it is specified for the vehicle or due to extenuating circumstances and conditions.
This is among what VIO should check during vehicle administration licensing, but they are more interested in going on the road to collect money. Corruption everywhere! Wall to wall corruption in the country! |

Mariangeles: How about training them how to plant their own trees?
Exactly. How about leading by example? Yeah, yeah, yeah....Train them how it's done is different from leading by example of (leaving a fruit tree for them). Take them to farm and let them cultivate, painstakingly water it. That's the way they will enjoy and appreciate the harvest for a long time. |
Agriculture › Re: If You Can't Leave An Inheritance For Your Future Generation, Do This [pictures] by CaptainFM1: 8:32pm On Dec 11, 2025 |
Mariangeles: Yet, the older generation respected nature [trees and all] more than the present generation. You think learning is only done within the four walls of a school? Life itself is a school.
How about we do one without leaving the other? In know way did I infer formal education alone. That's why I used the word "train". How about we do one without leaving the other? How about training them how to plant their own trees? We must set the perspective right for them before we leave.

Mariangeles: You may not be able to leave any inheritance [properties and all] for your future generation, but you can do this: plant fruit trees.
Yes, you read right!
Plant fruit trees to leave to your future generation, and in 5-7 years time, you will begin to reap the fruit of your labour, and those after you will eat of the fruits, and thank you.
Own something in your lifetime. Even if it is a fruit tree.
Picture credit: Pinterest. Education remains the best inheritance and legacy. A child you did not train will end up uprooting your fruit tree, cut it into firewoods and sell them off. Everything is in deep parables. Including your submission. |

What is so difficult in getting authorization from the AES states prior flying over them even to the point of having emergency landing in one of them.
One thing that this clearly tells us is how impunity and disregard for rules reigns supreme in every facet of our lives.
Would we like it if any aircraft enters our airspace without authorization? And when it suddenly have a need for emergency landing, it drops down at Lagos or Abuja.
We should always and clearly analyze what we praise sometimes. |

stuffs2002: Obasanjo the father of Boko Haram
Obasanjo had the golden opportunity of nipping Boko Haram in the bud when insecurity was still in its infancy stage but he failed woefully. Olusegun Obasanjo threw Nigeria into the mess we are today in terms of insecurity So what then happens after him? Governance is continuum. Because BH is recorded to have started in his watch doesn't absolve successive government at stopping it. Rather, what we're seeing of recent is politicians using them as political tools to win elections. It will remain a reckoning force as far as our political journey is now concerned. |
