In trading you really need maximum concentration and discipline, today i blowed my account of $534 trading the news, I went opposite direction with 9 positions, I went mad after that, while taking my bath I realized the mistake i made on USDJPY. I would have made $1200 from that market, I just learnt trading the news (cpi) two weeks ago. I felt like giving up, this life everything you worked for can be lost under few minutes. All my analysis, all the fuel i burn, skipping meal sometimes all gone because of just a silly mistake. I have $100 left. I’m just crazy right now after converting my lost to naira, I can’t say this to someone i know physically, just have to pour it out here.

Just let it out, man. Capital preservation is king in this business. You have learnt the hard way it is your very life. Kill greed before it kills you. Compounding is the secret to building wealth in this business, not over-leveraging your account. Gambling is a dead and buried habit of a pro-trader. Sorry to hear this, bro. It won't be easy but just pick yourself up and rebuild your account. It may take months but it will be a hard reminder that to succeed in forex trading there is no room for greed. Rather, make compounding plans after your account has grown to a certain size...then increase the lotsisze for each trade. You will get over this in time.

Sundays are for what again? For looking at the chart before the market opens. And for some, for peering inward.

So, I sat down and reflected on my trading wins and losses and I realized, apparently, that I might just be 'enjoying' hurting myself.

Because I no know why I go trade $50k, $10k and $5ks Prop Firms' accounts reach phase 2 and funded and I go come carry phone dey hold meetings with ma 'village pipo' dey tell them and ask them, at the same; 'I wan blow o. Make I blow or make I no blow?'

And to make matters worse, I go see am clearly say my beloved Gold don go borrow the devil's staff and I go still dey stronghead dey say the staff no long enough to pitchforked me (smh)

Bottom line, I lost a $50k account, sometimes ago. Recently, 2 of my last three remaining $5ks account don bite the dust; all thanks to last Friday's Golden BEARS. And my just funded FFT $1k account don dey wobble like efccc's court case with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named (here)

Meanwhile, the title of this whole story na, To Be Frank and Serious, I Am Not Serious (sigh 😞😔)

And talking about efccc, since poli-thief-cians often reward themselves handsomely in this country and not get scratched, deeply, by the eagle's claws, maybe I should abort trading and go become a 'legis-thief-tor,' because I still haven't learned any lesson (If "I've Learned a Lesson" was a human being, he for don serve many of us for FTA/D court letter, for defamation)

I feel you, brother. Losing prop firm accounts of those sizes can be really destabilising to the morale, I know. You've come too far to quit. You may need to take a step back and evaluate your trades from a neutral angle separating the wins from the losses, and isolating the differences between them with the aim to exploit the information as your edge.
